Generation 3 Electric & HVAC

First the company came to my home to ascertain the nature of the work I wanted to have done and to provide me with an estimate. Upon hearing the estimate, I scheduled the work to be performed a few days later. It was. I was very pleased with the result and with my dealings with this company.

This report covers two jobs, since I had the company out once, liked the work so much, asked them back for additional work. The company provided prompt and accurate estimates, scheduled and completed the work quickly, cleaned up after themselves, with the owner arriving to check the work upon completion. When there was a minor problem with the motion lights, they returned within a day or so to fix them.

Very well. All jobs were done in one day. The new panel was clearly labeled and all outlets were checked out before the electricians left.

It went great. Starting with the estimate, they were very prompt, friendly and helpful. They are also pretty high tech and could schedule an appointment and print an estimate from their computer at my house. They were flexible in scheduling an appointment. The guys who did the work were also great. Neat, polite and even gave us some ideas of other stuff we might want to do with our lighting in the house.

They did a great job! The estimate was quick and punctual. I was very happy with the cost of the project. The work people arrived on time, worked quickly and well. When they encountered a problem (like how to move my dryer) they didn't give up but instead worked through it. They were very nice and professional.

Bill came out to our home promptly on a Saturday morning and provided us with a professionally written estimate. He was easy to talk to and listened to our ideas and concerns. The estimate, however, was much higher than we expected and not in line with other electricians who provided us with estimates. We had the same amount of work done for approximately $1,200 less. I know Generation 3 prides themselves on their quality and professionalism, but that kind of price difference is a deal breaker. Sorry!

It went very well. They were very prompt with sending someone out to do an estimate, broke down the estimate into understandable details, and the work was completed for exactly what the estimate stated. The guy who did the estimate and the electrician both showed up on time, and they were very professional and nice. The electrician was meticulous about his work, covered all furniture with a drop cloth, and cleaned up everything, he even brought a vacuum cleaner and took away all the packaging from the new light. We were very happy with the work and everyone we came into contact with.

The whole experience working with Generation 3 was truly excellent. And let me preface that by saying I am a jerk about service, I usually hate just about every business I come in contact with. The first gentleman showed up to give me an estimate for the work. He showed up on time, explained how the work would be done, then broke out his portable printer to print me out an estimate. Impressive. The price for the work was very reasonable. They showed up the next day to do the work, again on time. They were friendly, did the work quickly, installed extra wire in case we needed to move the outlet later, tested it, and cleaned up after themselves. The whole experience with these guys was top notch, I have more electrical work to be done and I won't be wasting any time going anywhere else.

They were prompt in their response and in arriving to do an estimate. Their estimate was very fair. The job required them to run a line a fairly significant distance through walls, and they did so with the absolute minimum possible damage. All of the work was high-quality. They were courteous and prompt.

They were on time and very professional. They knew what they were doing and I would definitely use them again.

I can't say enough about this company. They are a joy to work with. From the first phone call to the last, you can expect quick response, courteous behavior, immaculate workmanship and meticulous attention to detail from the aesthetics of a job to the cleaning up. I particularly appreciated feeling that I had people in my home who had a sense of how to enhance the beauty of my home through the lighting. It was actually fun to collaborate in the planning of this job with several of the electricians who are all skilled, knowledgeable about various possibilities and products and who clearly enjoy the process of a planning and completing a project. It was worth every penny I spent to have Generation 3 do the work.

They arrived on time and were very professional. One of the tasks was a bit more complicated than expected but rather then return at a later time, they stayed and completed the job.

These are very professional folks. They come when they say they are coming, they are very nice and the price is way below other estimates. We had a little trouble with one of the lights and they come back right away.

The identified the problem, and were out the next day with the needed part to fix it. Very easy to deal with.

The work was done because my house was just sided and it was done very well. They were nice guys and I had no problems at all. I was pleased with the work and I would recommend them to anyone.

Generation 3 provided excellent service and responded quickly. We set up an appointment, and someone came out to assess the problem and provide an estimate for repair. They called to confirm the time of arrival and arrived on time. After the estimate and my acceptance of the estimate, they came to fix the faulty switch. Again, they called to confirm the time of arrival and arrived on time. The switch was fixed quickly and they cleaned up the small amount of debris that arose. In testing the switch, they found a loose connection in the light fixture and fixed that as well. Despite the fact that the faulty light fixture had not been included in the estimate, they fixed it at no additional charge. Everything has worked perfectly since their repair work. Everyone I dealt with at Generation 3 was polite, friendly, and professional and I would definitely use them again. I have recommended them to friends as well.

Steve and Jeremy were extremely friendly, punctual and completed the job in a timely manner. They adjusted minor details that I requested. The job site was left very clean.

Company was very quick to respond for an appointment for an estimate. The appointment was made and confirmed with the time of arrival. The electricians were very professional and quick in their work. The results were excellent.

It went well. Someone came by on time and gave an estimate. He told me various ways of solving the two problems and made a recommendation based on costliness and efficiency, according to my needs.

The service was prompt and Bill was very friendly and helpful. However, I found the work, particularly the rough in of the third floor, sloppy and overly destructive. Bill was very responsive and assured me this was normal, but my other contractors working at the house all pointed to the extreme nature of some of the sloppiness. To be fair, Bill did send out workers to repair the walls and they look much better, although some outlets sit ajar, etc. I ended up spending one day cleaning up the mess left behind. The materials used were A+. Bill has waited patiently for me to finish other work on the third floor so they can do their finish work, and he's not pressured me for final payment, instead waiting until he finishes the work. During this time several other workers have dropped by to check in a do random finish work as available. I just expected more for the price, heck, I own a roto-zip that would have made less mess and patch work. Why don't they?

Sent a gentleman over for the estimate the only thing that I would have changed is that I would have choose a different choice on the doorbell, but everything was put in nicely and everything is still working They are very professional and courteous.

Didn't get the work performed since it seemed a little pricey. Still considering whether to go back to them. (They seemed the most prompt and provided a written estimate).

After an visit and estimate within a day or so of calling, on the work day, workers showed up on time, worked diligently all day, were responsive to questions and concerns and cleaned up after themselves. Owner stopped by early to check on the job and called within 30 minutes of its completion to inquire about satisfaction with performance.
