They were very good. They came in and did their work. They were very professional.

Generation 3 Electric was very responsive to us in working to restore electrical service. There were quite a few obstacles to work through which included managing the flood insurance maze and requirements from the township that they apply for a contractor's license from the township on top of getting a permit. Also they had to ensure they had the specific instructions for what was to be replaced from the township inspector, and then work to get that inspector to come back and and pass the work in order for the serrvice to be turned on. They did a SPECTACULAR job of responding to this crisis, even in overcoming the many obstacles. The work they did was completed over 2 days. I was satisfied with the job they performed to replace the service. I was particularly impressed with the electrician they sent to replace the outlets. My only issue was that after they left the 1st time we had a lot of equipment to dry out the basement. I noticed that outlets 2 floors up in my bedroom were hot to the touch. I called on Saturday (3 days after the electrical service was replaced). I contacted their service 4 times that day and never got a call back (my fear was a fire hazard). We heard from them on Monday and they sent someone out then. I was told that it was an odd situation that everyone was out of the office and happened to be unavailable that weekend. To be honest it was only the professionalism of the electrician that came out and fixed the hot outlet issue as well as finished the job of replacing the outlets in the basement, that impressed me and allows me to continue to give them a good rating. I would recommend using this company. I would use them again.

From the estimate to the completed work, Gen 3 was competent and professional. The work was started and completed on time with a minimum of disturbance and my house was left clean with everything returned to its' proper place. Overall, a very positive experience. I would recommend them to my family and friends.

I called them to set up an appointment and they responded right away. They came promptly and on time the day work was to be done. After work was completed I was really pleased with their professionalism and good quality work. They also suggested other electrical work that should be done and gave me an estimate. I also received a statement of work performed for my records. I would recommend them to anyone. They are a professional business.

Luke Short was the technician, he was so accomodating and helpful that I thought he was the owner, not an employee. He showed up on time, worked quickly, made adjustments as requested, fitted in smoothly with other contractors and was an absolute pleasure to work with. His quote was in detail and clear. He offered a Senior Citizen discount and came in at half of other well reccomended quoters. He also reccomended Ciro l Lighting on South Broad Street where we bought beautiful fixtures at very good prices. I Highly reccomend Generation 3 without reservation.

It's too bad when good companies send out the wrong sales people. We did spend over $2,000 to get the work done. But not by them.

I have recieved an estimate from Gen 3 and they sent a technician out promptly. They gave me a comprehensive estimate and even followed up with a phone call. I have not had the services rendered yet but I plan on having them back in the near future.

The lead guy listens and came up with creative solutions for the issue we had. He did good work.

From the get go, they were fantastic. They showed up for both sales calls on time, if not early. They spent as much time as needed to understand the job and our needs fully. I received a written estimate on the spot, which was followed up with a clean, typed estimate within 24 hours delivered by email. They showed up on time for the first day of work, and kept the job site neat and clean throughout construction. Their work is flawless, and I could not be happier with hiring Generation 3 Electric.

Prompt response to initial request for estimate. Staff providing estimate was thorough and courteous. Work started nearly a week later than we were led to believe it would. Office staff answering phones were very professional and helpful. Received were sometimes confusing, less professional and unnecessary. Frequent changes to schedule made with little notice. Had serious concern but did not receive callback from anyone. The job was completed satisfactorily, a little later than expected, and everyone who came to the house was professional. Our home was respected and the estimate was accurate. This company did not use signed contracts and did not initially obtain a permit. I had high expectations because of glowing recommendation from relative who should know, and reports on Angie's List. The experience was mixed. I would consider using them again but not without exploring other companies.

This company is terrific. Professional, clean (which I translate to respectful of my home and me), responsive. I emailed them on a Sunday night via their website that I had a few electrical problems that needed fixed. First thing the following morning, I had an email response asking me to call them directly if I wanted to schedule an appointment for an estimate on the work. Mike was at my house the next day, on time, thorough, and gave me a good assessment of the problems (along with talking me out of something I thought was a problem that really wasn't). A part needed to be ordered for the fan, so all the work was scheduled for a return visit later that week. The part failed to come in, but I received a prompt call from their office notifying me and rescheduling the work to be done. They just left my house -- all things fixed, and in great working order. They took all the trash with them, cleaned up completely where the new outlet was installed, even changed a few miscellaneous ceiling lightbulbs for me . . . I couldn't be more pleased. And I just got a call from their office asking what I thought of the work . . . if it was completed to my satisfaction. (It was!) I will continue to use them for all my electrical needs. They know their business . . . and they care about their business.

Generally very good - very polite and professional people that came to the house - they performed the work very well and cleaned up afterwards. The recessed lighting finish was not that great - still some gaps around where the lights were placed that will need touching up and the spackling which covered the defects in the ceiling and walls was not great - that being said, i think this is more of a contractors job -the electrical work they performed was fine.

The electrician arrived on the day and time promised, presented an estimate, kept the cost within the estimate, and completed the job on the same day. We reviewed my "wish list" for electrical jobs at the house and were able to get everything on the doable wish list done on the same day.The electrician was professional and polite, explaining how the different devices operated and the safety features. He also cleaned up the work sites with his own cleaning supplies and on his own initiative. We and our grandchildren can now get to the basement door safely. and light holiday lights on the porch without extension cords! I can finally start using a mixer and baking cakes again! Having experience with various home repair, upkeep, and renovation jobs done by professonals over the last 38 years, my husband and I are pleased with the work done by Generation 3 Electricians.

EXCELLENT! Although the quote was a bit higher than we had budgeted for - we still felt it was a very fair price and the work was excellent!

Can't say enough good things about our interaction from the day I made the appointment to the follow-up phone call after receiving the quote. Mike was super nice, very professional, and was great at explaining everything to me. Unfortunately the quote was higher than another one we got, which also included additional services. But will definitely consider them in the future!

I made the appointment on Wednesday and they sent out their technician, Michael on Friday mid-morning. After assessing what needed to be done, I was quoted a price. I feel that it is important to mention that they considered me as a previous customer and also as an Angie's List customer. For this, I was very grateful. After negotiations were done, Michael set to work changing my exterior fixtures, which were basically hanging off the wires. It was a lengthy job requiring ladders, drilling into brick and dealing with complex wiring (my house was built in the 50's). The technician was very honest about what needed to be done presently and in the near future. His work was amazing and my husband and where thrilled to say "Let there be light!!" and now...there is actually light in our back yard!!! The fixtures are securely fastened and the work is just lovely. Michael was great..ask for him by name! I will definitely rehire this company in the future to finish the last few things that need to be done in my home.

The gentlemen came the same day that I called for an estimate. Work was done on the same day. The gentleman reviewed my property (I am a newbie owner) and made recommendations on the work that needed to be done. He carefully explained what and why things needed to be done and was never pushy. The work was done in about 3 hours and I was handed a homeowner's packet on electricity in the home. I appreciaed that and was satisfied with their work. I will hire them again to change my exterior fixtures. I contacted this company after the company sent by my warranty company performed sub-par work. Getting their info (and reading their reviews on Angie's List) was truly a G-d send!

This work was completed in a bathroom in my dad's house. He is very hard to please and was very impressed with the service received. In fact, he has been recommending them to everyone who visits him and he would definitely use them again.

It was a great experience. Mike was very friendly and professional. He was very focused on the job at hand and he cleaned up. I would definately use him again. Plus he's not allergic to cats which is important.

These guys were terrific!! They were short-handed during our service, but they didn't miss a beat and finished within our allotted time for the job. There was no disruption of the household, they cleaned up after each day, and kept us informed as to where they were in the job. The main electrician on the job was particularly professional, swift, friendly (he explained everything about how the electrical system worked), and was incredibly patient and steady, as sometimes he was the only person working on the site. Generation 3 Electric are just really "GOOD people". They're empathetic to the ways such a large job could completely disrupt a household, and they head off any problems before they happen with discretion and tact. It's a young company, so it's particularly wonderful to see such teamwork and success in an arena that has a lot of competition. Another, really important thing: the office staff are the NICEST people ever! No matter what time of day you call, or what crazy request you have, they are just fantastic. They keep you up-to-date on what's going on, work well with you on billing/payment matters, and keep good records. All-in-all, we had a great experience with this company, and will continue to use them for our electrical needs moving forward.

service and work was exception. i was impressed. price paid was more expensive non-Angie's List quotes but the quality and online coupon offset this detail. i would highly recommend generation 3 to family and friends.

Excellent experience from the first call to their office. The receptionist was knowledgeable and friendly. Sent someone out for an estimate right away, gave us $100 coupon, wore work slippers every time they came in the house (didn't get the floors dirty at all), worked cleanly, efficiently and professionally. Called to let me know electrician was almost at my house, called every time - within a day of service - after service was performed to check on quality and my satisfaction. Even gave me a less expensive option to fix something! Almost too good to be true. Will continue to recommend them.

Earlier this year we had our entire circuit breaker board replaced by Generation 3. In the process they discovered that one of the light fixtures in the back room of the first floor was faulty and needed replacement. It took us some time to find a fixture that both fit the space and looked right, so we were unable to get the work done sooner than this. When we had the fixture, they came promptly and installed it in less than half an hour. They also tested the circuit to make sure there was no other problem in the back.

They were very quick and professional. They did everything they said they were going to do and we haven't had any additional problems.
