the owner came to my house and quoted me a price on the work that I requested to be done. I accepted the price and wqe worked out a date for the work to be done . The work crew showed up when they were supposed to and had both awnings installed and everything cleaned up within an hour.

I have used them twice. The time before was around 5 years ago and they intalled some 4 windows, a front and cellar door. They are very courteous and friendly. Their prices are reasonable. They do a really good job at the work and clean up. My sister referred me to them and she has used them in the past and liked them as well.

The sales man was very nice and explained everything very well.

I placed my order in Oct. and it took till Dec.14, 2011 to have them delivered and installed. I thought that was a long wait but I am not sure who is at fault for that, the company who built the doors. I think the price is a bit high but I will say the quality of the work may be worth it. The men arrived at 8am the first day and worked till around 4pm and on the second day again 8am and were finished by 1pm. They are so clean and neat you would not have know they were there except for the fact my front door looks so good.

They do an excellent job. The only thing I would have to tell people is that they are on the expensive side but provide quality work. The quality is excellent and they will get tremendous work. You get what you pay for.

They did good work and the windows were pretty high-grade but I not sure I will call them again. There were about four or five guys. They came out twice to measure and still got one of the windows wrong; we had to wait another two weeks for it. Some of the windows have a lock. Since we had to wait, I asked that they not charge me for the locks to which they agreed. The owner and the office people were relatively nice but the people that were working for them were not. The product and installation was fine except for the mix-up on the measurement. The workmanship was fine. My interaction with the staff was mediocre. I was having some problems with the windows so I called them, and they sent somebody out. It turned out there was nothing wrong; it just seemed like there was. But the man said he wanted to be paid for it. So I called up and complained but they did not really do anything about it nor did they call me back.

Work was done in a timely and efficient manner. All workmen were very courteous and when the job was finished, cleaned up completely.

Everything went well. They were well worth the money. The gentleman who did th einstallation was excellent.

We called and they called back that day to set up an appointment. At that time we were only looking to replace the back door. The estimator arrived on time and knew exactly what we were looking for. He measured the area, gave us a book showing a variety of doors, and gave us a firm estimate then and there. The estimate was lower than we expected, so we asked what would be the charge for a new front door. Again, he measured everything and gave us a price. We said we'd talk about it and get back to him. We then gave him a 1/3 deposit for the back door. When we asked about timing, he explained that all their doors are custom-made. However he did give us an estimated delivery time. A few days later, we decided to get the front door as well. All I had to do was call and the door was ordered. I followed up with another check for 1/3 the price of the additional door. When the doors came in they called and set up a date for installation. The installer arrived exactly on time, and set right to work. He took out the old doors and framing, installed the new doors and trim, calked and painted everything He cleaned up throughly and removed all the debris. He even gave us the receipts and showed us the information we needed to claim our tax deduction. Overall, we were very pleased with the service and every aspect of the job. They are very good. They are accommodating. They called to let me know when they wouldn't be able to come.

It was a horrible experience. There were three men. One I think was new because he keep dropping his tools on my floors. I guess I should have known, but when they took out the old windows they just push them outside to the ground, however I have a dog and my dog could have got hurt. Also they left cups from their coffee outside and they did not sweep up any of the plastic little pieces that came off of the windows. One hugh thing, we made sure we moved everything away from our windows so that there would be no problem, however they did not cover a thing in any rooms so there was dust everywhere and window shavings. Also, they put their tools on my furniture.

Their estimate was a little higher than the estimate I got from somebody else. They are very professional. They were schedule to come here at 12'o clock, and they came on time. The guy who came out took his time doing the measurements. It took him 15 minutes to do so.

My experience with Gallagher Bros. was excellent overall. I received an estimate for the work in February 2011. The gentleman (Steve) who came to my house was professional, and did not try to pressure me into contracting with Gallagher Bros. for this work. I did not sign up for the work at that time, but I called him back early in March to tell him to go ahead with the installations. Steve returned to my house to allow me to select the pattern and colors for the awning and to collect a deposit. Within one week, I heard that my awning was ready for delivery, and a few days later, my railing arrived. The individuals who performed the installations, in both cases, were professional and courteous. Both jobs were completed to my satisfaction. Although I feel that their pricing was a little high, it was worth it to have the two jobs go smoothly and to have nice people with whom to deal. I will call them again if I need additional work that they provide.

With the energy-savings tax credit due to expire at the end of 2010, it was a good time to replace two windows in our living room that have been letting cold air into the house for years. I called several window companies beginning in early September. Two never even returned my messages, and another called back to say they couldn't take our business before January unless we were ordering a large number of windows. Gallagher Brothers was the only company that returned our call and was happy to do the work, although it was a small job. The man who came out to measure was prompt, professional, and friendly. He placed the order right away, and we got a call that the windows were ready for installation within about 7 weeks. There was a little difficulty in scheduling installation; after agreeing on a date with the office staff, the installer they assigned called me to work out the details and in the course of an endless conversation realized he couldn't do the job because his truck wouldn't fit on our street. (First time we ever had that problem, but I guess he knew best.) I had to get back in touch with Gallagher Brothers, who assigned another installer within a few days. I was lucky to get the last slot he had open in December! He arrived on time, worked without a break for the several hours it took to install the windows, and was completely professional. The installation did create a lot of dust, but that's to be expected. The windows are of good quality and were a reasonable price compared with others I have seen advertised. The whole experience was satisfactory, and I would definitely call Gallagher Brothers again.

The salesman, Steve, was very personable. Arrived on time and discussed the options. Work was scheduled within two weeks. Installers were professional and cleaned up spotlessly. Beautiful job.

I went in a different direction. The interaction was fine. I got a number of quotes from a number of different vendors and they were in the top two. They were pleasant to deal with. They were very informative in the initial quoting process. They were professional, knowledgeable, and polite. They were very nice to deal with at every turn. We followed up with more questions and changing the quote around and they continued to be knowledgeable, professional and pleasant. The reason we didn't use them was because the brand of windows was offered by another vendor and not by Gallagher. If I needed another window or door, I would get an estimate from Gallagher.

Arrived as scheduled. Completed the work. Accommodated the buyers requests. Removed all debris.

Asked for estimate online. Responded next business day. Estimator came after hours, was very friendly and explained everything that would be done. I already knew what type door I wanted, so I didn't need help making a choice, though he was willing to walk me through alternatives. Installer arrived 15 minutes before scheduled time, was done in a couple of hours and explained the workings of the lock installed. I love my new door and the new framework!

The previous homeowners of our house attempted to cut a doorway in the dining room leading to the basement steps, allowing for an expanded kitchen. It was obvious that they used poor quality materials and did not measure properly, leaving an unsightly hole with ugly trim going around it. Steve from Gallagher Bros came in and gave us a detailed estimate which was within our budget. The installer suggested letting him do some additional trim work which made the door frame stronger and better looking than anything I could do. This added $100 to the estimate, but it was well worth it. The install went off with out a hitch and the door makes our dining room look so much better. From the call to the showroom to the estimate to the install, everyone was easy to work with. They may not be the cheapest, but the quality of work speaks for itself.

I cannot begin to tell you the saga of having my door and window replaced. Others had come before and ruined everything regarding the insulation. Gallagher Brothers not only replaced and installed the window and doors, they fixed what others didn't. They are a bit pricey however they are professional, qualified and I would absolutely use them again.

Came right on time and finished up early. Took the time to explain how to use the windows. Were very nice. Plan on using them again to install an awling and new back door.

Steve came to our home twice (at my request). Originally, we were going to replace only four windows, but - having listened and learned from Steve's initial evaluation, we decided to have the entire house redone. He was responsive, attentive and worked with us on ways to reduce costs without reducing window efficiency. Frankly, the only reason the work was not done was that we had an issue with our heating/air system, and we simply could not afford to do both. However, once we are able to save enough to cover the costs, we will definitely go back to Gallagher Brothers and Steve.

They were good. They always come when they said they would. They make an appointment and stick to it. They call you when your order comes in, and they come out and install.
