Checked frig with gadget and discovered the timer was off.Defrosted freezer. cleaned/emptied water. Elite had a timer on the truck and guaranteed it'd last years.

Michael is very conscientious, responsible, and on time! I had used his services before and when this issue happened, there was no doubt in my mind that I would ask Michael to do the repair work. He really does outstanding work, and provides above and beyond care for your appliance. If I could, I would give him an A+ for service and care!

I was referred to Elite Appliance by a work colleague of mine when I needed someone to look at a noisy dishwasher. Michael (the owner and sole proprietor) answered when I called and was able to come by very quickly. He showed up, inspected the dishwasher, which of course was hardly making a sound when he was there, found nothing obviously wrong, but did suggest some possible causes and part and repair costs. A few days later the sound reappeared and I called him and held the phone up to the dishwasher. He could tell what the problem was and I had him order the part. This was a couple of days before Christmas and I said that I hoped that he could get it done before a bunch of family showed up. He ordered the part with priority (cost about $5 more). It arrived a few days later and he came by that day and performed the repair. quickly. He didn't make a mess and cleaned up after he was done. All in all a painless experience, with extremely responsive service at a reasonable price.

Prompt, friendly, professional. Found the leak right quick. Ordered the new part, but first offered me an alternative solution without the part. I ordered the part, within a week he came back and installed it. Cleaned up after himself. I would use his service again. I would recommend him without hesitation. A++

It went really. They were polite, professional, and on time.

He was great. Was on time for initial visit and a little early for return visit after parts arrived., assessed the problem quickly. Was always looking for the least expensive solution. Problem was not with ice maker which I would have replaced but with a valve which cost much less. On stack dryer, which is old and I was prepared to hear " don't repair, it needs to be replaced" he said, these models are like tanks and last forever. Simple cheap fix and he said it is good for 10 years. Our big dryer was a German make and needed bearings after maybe 5 years and not really heavy use. He replaced. He was friendly, informative, clean efficient with his time. He made sure he protected our floors. So happy we found him. Would recommend to everyone

Michael was great. He called me back within an hour of my initial message and made availability for me the next day (though I had to wait until after the weekend). He even provided the most likely diagnosis over the phone and a reasonable price range to fix it. He called with his arrival time and showed up exactly on time, worked quickly and efficiently, and even replaced the broken light bulb in the freezer he was fixing (it's the small things!). Cost was on the low end of the range he provided. Highly recommended.

I was recommended to Mike P by a neighbor. I calledl him and he came that same day. I had clothes in washer. The spin cycle did not work. Smelled an awful odor in basement. He know the problem right away. Mike was very professional and honest with me. While he was working on washer I looked on Angie's list and found him there to my surprise. I read all the good reviews about him. He did give me a discount price because I was a member. Very pleased with the work. I will use him again most definitely. Thanks again Mike!

This was a professional, prompt, efficient appliance fix. Despite the inclement weather, this service professional called to confirm the appointment, promptly assessed and fixed the problem, explained what he was replacing and why, vacuumed under the dishwasher, took care to leave my house clean (even took off his shoes to avoid tracking snow/salt in!), and gave me an Angies list discount (since thats where I found out about Elite/his business). He was confident that he could fix it, and knew exactly what the trouble was shortly after looking at the appliance. Based on this experience, I would recommend Elite and the service they provide.

I sent an email and got a response straight away. A couple of days later the gentleman was here and within half an hour everything was fixed and working properly. Timeliness and customer service are very important to me and the guy (totally forget his name, sorry!) excelled in both. We will definitely use again if our fridge starts to act up again.

I called Mike based on the reviews on Angie's list. I left him a voicemail on a Sunday. He prompted returned the call within an hour and agreed to come on Monday morning. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem as a broken control unit, obtained the part, and a few hours later that day, he repaired the refrigerator. I was at work the entire time and the babysitter was home but Mike relayed everything to me over the phone, including anticpated cost. Surprisingly, after he had charged me for the control module, and I had paid via credit card, he called me a few hours later to apologize for making a mistake on the pricing of the module and refunded me the difference! I was floored by his honesty and professionalism which is why I readily used him again. On his next repair, he was equally responsive--quickly returning a voicemail I left for him and scheduling a visit for which was on punctual. Once again, he quickly identified the problem, ordered the part and returned two days later once the part arrived and repaired the unit. I can't be more pleased with the quality of the service.

Our refrigerator stopped working a day before a family of five was arriving to stay with us. It was Friday and I spent the first part of the day trying to get access to my extended warranty. When it was apparent that I was not going to able to get service I accessed my Angie's list account and choose Elite based on the great reviews and proximity to our location. Michael was terrific. He responded on an hour's notice late on a Friday afternoon. Based on his experience with our model of refrigerator he had the necessary part in his truck. He was checked and fixed another potential problem without additional charge. He was great. He saved the day!!

Michael at Elite Appliance Service performed excellent work. He answered the phone almost immediately every time, showed up, and diagnosed the problem quickly with no initial consultation charge. He called me with the price of the replacement part and ordered it within the day after making sure I wanted to go ahead. Unfortunately the part was quite expensive - an additional 115.00 - but that was not Michael's fault. Within a couple of days receiving the part from the distributor, he was able to come early in the morning, on time and installed the part quickly and testing it thoroughly. Within a week of the initial diagnostic, my dryer is now fully functioning and my fears of burning down the house are allayed. Michael even provided me with a small Angie's List discount which I hadn't thought to ask for. Michael's part of the price was only $75.00 - no last minute increases, no surprises or differences in the bill then what we had discussed previously on the phone. Spending money on appliance repairs isn't exactly fun, but one can do much much worse than Michael/Elite Appliance and I think it would be hard to do better.

Michael responded to phone message same day and made an appointment for the following week (he would have come out the same day but I couldn't be there.). Got here exactly when he said he would. It took him about two minutes to figure out what the problem was. He had the replacement part in his truck. Repair was completed in less than 30 minutes. He also ran the machine through an abbreviated cycle to ensure that the odor from the stagnant water had been removed. He was kind enough to look at my frozen garbage disposal on the way out and fixed that - after he had written up the bill and had been paid!! Very nice, professional and good communication. Would DEFINITELY use again.

This was a great experience all around. Mike and his assistant responded within a couple of hours to my initial phone call and came out the next morning right on time as promised. They were pleasant to work with and fixed both oven and dryer within half an hour, explaining exactly what they were doing. Mike's new assistant is a college-educated former chef (he says there's more money in the appliance biz), and we talked Thanksgiving recipes.

When our primary appliance repair man could not come, I called Elite Appliance and left a message. I was called back within an hour. Following the phone call, someone was on site within 45 minutes, and already on task. Everything went quickly and smoothly and the price was reasonable. We will absolutely hire this company again.

I called and left Michael a message the day that I noticed the problem. He called me back within 30 minutes to schedule an appointment for the next day. He was extremely friendly on the phone. The day of the appointment he called about an hour earlier than expected to say he was in the neighborhood and to see if I was available early. This actually worked out very well for me so he came by just a couple of minutes later. When he arrived I briefly showed him the dishwasher and explained what had happened. He diagnosed the problem in about 45 seconds and had it fixed a minute or 2 after that. He then took the time, however, to test out the different cycles on the machine and to make sure everything was working properly. He also cleaned the unit and took some time to explain to me how I could get better performance out of the unit going forward. I could not be any happier with the overall experience, and will be calling him for any problems that come up going forward.

It went beautifully. Michael was able to come to my apartment the day after I called and worked around my schedule (I had to leave for work at 10:30). He called me when he was 20-30 minutes away and arrived promptly. He and his co-worker were really pleasant and professional and they were able to diagnose the problem immediately. After making a brief trip to his car for the necessary parts and tools, he repaired the unit. All told, he was here for maybe half an hour and I had plenty of time to make it to work.
