We called Mike on 12/03/2015 and he called and showed up at our house 12/04/2015. Mike's knowledge of appliance repair is second to none. He quickly analyzes the problem fixes it and his fees are very reasonable. We are very happy with his work and he will be our repairman for a long long time.

My refrigerator started making a loud noise and not cooling after regular business hours. I called Elite Appliance Service as soon as they opened in the morning and got their answering machine, so I left a message. In less than 5 minutes I got a call back from Michael and he said he could be out between 11 AM and 1 PM. He showed up just before noon, quickly diagnosed the problem, had the part in the truck and had it installed in less than half an hour. He even wiped the inside of the whole freezer down before putting the shelves back in. Very quick, competent, professional and friendly service!

Superb job, as always! I have used Elite Appliance several time and each time was really pleased with his service. Michael Pinto knows how to run an excellent business! He was available on fairly short notice, showed up on time, and to my delight, had the part I needed available. I was happy for my tenants to get the functionality of the oven back so quickly. Elite Appliance falls into the top of any service providers I have used over a dozen years!

Michael was incredibly professional & responsive. He was also open to multiple means of communication, I communicated with him predominantly through email, to which he punctually replied. This was very convenient as I am on a computer all day for work. He was able to come out to my house and look at my appliances that needed help within days of my initial call, and while he had to order parts to fix my dryer, he kept me well informed about all of the possible options regarding my parts, and when they would arrive. He came and installed the parts as soon as they arrived, even though it was 2-3 days before Christmas day. Beyond the quality of service (which was phenomenal) Michael is a very level headed person, I found it easy to both identify and communicate with him. This may not seem important, but its something I value in anyone that would be coming into my home.

They did the service for free. They were fine. They were only there for five minutes. They streamlined it and did not charge us.

Mike was thhe most responsive and helpful service person I have ever dealt with. He arrived on time, diagnosed the problem, explained options and varying costs, got the missing parts and installed them right on time. We are telling all our friends that this is the man to go to when something breaks down.

Mike called the morning of the appointment to let me know he was on his way, he was punctual, polite and organized. He assessed the problem I was having with my dryer, gave me different solution options ranging from buying a new starter switch and panel, to being able to turn on the dryer without the start switch all together. I was very impressed with his knowledge of appliances and was grateful for his honesty in the options I was given to fix the dryer. It was a quick fix so he gave me a discount from the standard $80 service call. I would definitely use him again!

Our refrigerator was barely functioning. We called Mike Pinto from Elite after getting a recommendation from a trusted contractor and checking Angie's List. He did a great job--turned up on time, diagnosed the problem in minutes, had the right part in his truck, got the fridge working again, and cleaned up afterward.

If there is a way to give an A+ grade, I would do it. He was prompt and responsive from the start. He answered my first call and got all of the details right the first time. He showed up exactly when promised with a reminder call prior to showing up. He knew exactly what to look for and how to fix it. Even though the stove is beyond repair due to age, he was able to tell me that right away. He also knew immediately how to fix the leak coming from the fridge and was able to fix it in less than 10 minutes. I was incredibly happy with the entire experience and would highly highly recommend Michael to anyone looking for appliance repair. While I hope I don't have to call Michael again under the assumption that my appliances will never break, he will be the only call I make if they do.

michael responded initially with a quick phone call, arranged for a quick inspection, ordered and installed the panel in less than a week. overall he was prompt, professional, and wonderfully communicative.

Our Kenmore dishwasher was intermittently leaking water all over the kitchen floor soon after the washing cycle started. After the third incident we called Michael. The call was promptly answered and a visit was scheduled two days later. Michael arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem--the water inlet valve was not shutting off properly. He explained why he diagnosed that problem. He did not have the necessary part available so it had to be ordered. My only wish is that we could have had the part sooner since we generate a lot of dishes but don't have a lot of time! A follow-up visit was scheduled a week later. Michael arrived exactly when he said he would and had the part replaced and the dishwasher working twenty minutes later. Michael was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional throughout.

Michael was prompt, courteous and professional. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained the problem and replaced the broken part on the spot. He answered my questions and tested the washer before leaving our home.

Michael returned my call promptly and scheduled service for the same day. He was very professional and his rates are reasonable. I highly recommend Elite Appliance.

I've used Elite Appliance twice, so repair two different kitchen appliances. First was a dishwasher that was leaking. Michael, the owner, showed up on time, diagnosed the problem immediately, a gasket, and was an easy fix. Next, is a Sharp Microwave (Built-in, Draw-style). A very expensive microwave that was not working properly. Michael fixed it for a very reasonable fee. Both times, Michael was prompt, true to his estimate and incredibly professional. He took his shoes off because it was raining heavily outside. I don't live in the area, but if you are in the Philadelphia area and need appliance repair, I HIGHLY recommend Michael & Elite Appliance!

This was such an ideal experience from start to finish-- exactly the way you want your refrigerator repair to go. I left a message late on Sunday afternoon, got a response by Monday morning first thing. Spoke with Michael; he was able to come by 11 am same day. He was on time, totally friendly and polite, and had identified the problem within five minutes. And yet, he stayed long enough to make sure I had everything in order before returning the fridge to its spot. The space underneath and behind the fridge was *filthy* and he didn't blanch, and was chipper about waiting until I had cleaned it up enough to replace the appliance. I had even offered to let him go before I was done mopping up and he said he didn't mind, that the fridge was hard to move so I might want the help. Of note: he asked me how I found him and when I said "Angie's List", he applied an A.L. discount without my prompting. Honest, pleasant, prompt and knowledgeable. Would definitely use again.

I called Elite around 9am and explained the issues I was having with my freezer leaking water for the past month or so. They knew exactly what the problem was and agreed to come out at 3pm the same day. By 4pm the problem was resolved with very little clean-up needed.

Very punctual and easy to schedule. The repairman was very quick and knowledgeable. Quickly found the issue and made the repair. Then he went a step further to properly secure the dishwasher and raise it to the mounting height.

My 27-year-old slide-in range started to literally fall apart after a plumber had to pull it out to replace the gas line underneath. The oven door and bottom drawer wouldn't close. I messaged Mike Thurs. afternoon and, even though I said it wasn't an emergency he was at my house at 9 a.m. Friday. He found where some screws had come loose and got everything firmly put back together and on track. Since I'm also the owner of several rental properties, his number is now on my contacts list.

Unfortunately, I am not in his service area.

My experience with Elite Appliance was good. Mike was very responsive and called right away to schedule an appointment. He repaired and reset the dishwasher, and explained that if we had the same problem again, it was a larger expense, but he was hoping that it would be a permanent solution. Then when the appliance had issues again a few days later, he showed up the next morning to take a look and recommended that we replace it instead of paying several hundred for him to fix it. I found him to be very honest and professional and his services to be fairly priced. It does not hurt that he is also very friendly. I would definitely call him again if I have problems with any appliances.

My oven broke, and I was considering buying a new one and/or trying to repair it myself even though I'm really not that handy. I then checked on AL, and saw great reviews, and decided to try. I emailed on a Sunday, received a phone call early Monday, and the repairman squeezed me into his schedule for the next morning. He diagnosed the problem, soldered the wires back together, and set the oven back in place, all within about 15 minutes. He noted that a Kenmore repairperson would probably have just thrown away the entire piece and ordered a new one ($$). Fantastic experience.
