We were exploring all the options with different providers. Ed from ECC came and talked about doing ducted mini-splits, since there was room in an attic space and room in a cellar. Usually people want you to do ductless mini-splits which are the ones that hang on the walls. I liked Ed's ideas and plus he didn't lally-gag around and try to schmooze like some other sales people. The actual work took place in the timeframe given and at the price estimated. I'm very happy with the result, and Tony did a great job. The top floor and bottom floor have air, no remotes, but thermostats on each floor. The air comes through registers rather than a wall hung unit. So we even have it in the small bathroom. The two zones allow you to just cool the area you're using, and since I'm the one living there alone, that's good. I recommend this company. The approximate price was over $12,000 with Angie's discount. Comparable to other quotes.

Phone call was answered promptly and courteously, technician was out within 3 hours of initial call. He diagnosed the problem as a failed capacitor and replaced part (which was under 10 year initial warranty). Disassembled the unit to clean out 7 years of accumulated dirt and dryer lint since unit is right next to an exterior dryer vent. Said unit would be much more efficient and quieter for the cleaning. Got the unit up and running in less than an hour and was very pleasant and professional. All in all, a very pleasant and affordable solution to the problem. I would give them 6 stars if that were possible.

Lisa was VERY friendly when I called to make an appointment and Ed came out promptly at the scheduled time. He showed me what he was doing and gave his feedback on the unit and answered my concern about whether the unit was adequate for the size of our house. He filled the coolant and suggested getting some additional filters to have on hand and gave me the part number to easily order them for ourselves. I was surprised the cost of the filters were so low on line ($39) since our former contractor charged us $150 each - the first time he installed the unit and the second time when he came out to do a maintenance check. Since our AC has this problem every summer, he gave us some possible solutions for my husband and I to consider. He was not pushy in any way or trying to get more work. He took off his shoes when he came in the house to look at the thermostat and was just very personal and professional. We will definitely use this company again.

We have used Ed and his team before and they continue to provide excellent service. The price was reasonable, the work was done properly and on time, and the folks are a pleasure to deal with (Tony was in charge of this project). Best of all, it's delightfully cool upstairs! We will continue to use East Coast Comfort for our HVAC needs.

Tenant within duplex felt the central air was not working properly. I reached out to East Coast Comfort late afternoon, after closing hours. Tony responded within minutes and addressed the job that evening (8:00pm). Inspected the unit and found no issues. The apartment simply took longer to cool due to the extreme heat. I've used East Coast numerous times over the years. Reliable, fair, and most importantly honest. Highly recommended.

The service man came within the hour I called. He was polite, efficent and most importantly, honest! In his opiion I did not need a new system yet. He cleaned my unit and tested its efficentcy. I was impressed. I would certainly call this company for future HVAC needs.

Ed first came to the house to scope it out and see what it would take to build our system. We had a few structural issues that were puzzles - we had to figure out where to put the heater, and how to get the duct work around low hanging beams. Ed was responsive and positive that we could put in the right system. He also made sure that we were putting in an efficient system, and was open to all the suggestions we made in terms of where we'd like to put the unit, the coolers, and ductwork. We didn't want to drop the ceiling too much so we were able to brainstorm and make sure the outcome we wanted would be possible. Tony was the one on the site when the work was done. We first scheduled an estimate a few months ago, then had to deal with a lot of building permit issues so we didn't come back for a few months. However, they were happy to honor the original estimate. They scheduled us in for a date that was a little later than we liked, but were able to schedule a weekend just to come in and put in some ducts so that our builders could frame around it. That helped immensely because then we were able to have an idea where the ducts would go and how the framing would look. While on site they were able to accomplish a lot in a very little time - 3-4 days. They were very accommodating about problems that came up. For example we couldn't get the AC unit through the door on the 3rd floor so they were able to hoist it up the back roof without a lot of grumbling. We didn't have electrical ready so Tony is willing to come back to finish it. He was also able to make an opening through a wall we needed. Tony and crew went above and beyond to make sure our system is exactly as we wanted. Their work is also very clean and professional. For any future HVAC work I don't think I'd go anywhere else.

The crew was very professional, efficient and great at communication. It's rare to get a company that's so professional with communication AND service. I would give them my business again without a second thought.

Superb and fast service, as always! I have used this company for many years and have never been disappointed. Ed was able to come the same day and fixed the problem, a burned out wire connection and requiring a couple of parts. Fortunately, he had these available and was able to repair the unit. Ed, Tony, Lisa and all the staff at East Coast Comfort are amazing. I am so grateful to have found them and I use them often for my home and rental properties. Lisa is always helpful and friendly when you call the office. She calls you back and makes sure she confirms your appointment prior to a technicians arrival. Ed is very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of my many questions and he freely shares his expertise. I have had many interactions with Ed and he is a great guy, very honest, and has excellent technical skills. Tony and another staff member installed a new heater and AC unit earlier this month. Like Ed, Tony is awesome. A really nice guy, very friendly, and his work and craftsmanship are top notch. The new unit is in a small space and Tony went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect so I could still add a washer and dryer. The young guy who assisted Tony was also very helpful and friendly. Prior to the installation Ed suggested moving my water heater (gas to electric) under the stairs which was a great suggestion and opened up the space for the washer and dryer. This was great advice that most people wouldn't take the time to offer. East Coast Comfort staff and technicians are the best and you should call them now if you are in need of assistance.

Everything was done professionally and smoothly. They took the time to walk me through all the features and explain details. Easy to see they really enjoy their work. I first started experiencing issues with my old heat pump on a cold Saturday in February. East Coast Comfort was the only company that took time over the phone to give me tips on how to get my heat pump working again - and they did it for free. Other companies were only interested in charging me, but East Coast wanted to help me. I've been a customer of theirs ever since. They do great work and they care.

I've used ECC since purchasing my home in 2010. They installed a new Lennox HVAC system at that time and have been doing maintenance on it since. I also had a whole house humidifier installed by them about 4 years ago. Everything they've done has worked great for my home, and functunctioned properly since their installs. Recently, a sensor on the heating system got dusty (we moved and now have renters in the house) and the heater was turning off--they were able to go out for a service/maintenance call when the renters were home, trouble shoot, fix the problem and replace the filter for my humidifier all in one trip and with just a phone call from me. It feels good to have people I trust going into my once home, now rental property. I will continue to do business with them for years to come.

East Coast Comfort is always responsive even with last minute & urgent service needs. They're always professional, on time, work fast, and reasonably priced. We're glad to have found them at a time when we weren't able to get good help. I'd refer them to others with no problem.

Called this company based on Angie's list reviews. The woman that answered the phone was very polite and professional. She said they were busy, and backlogged several weeks, but that was fine since it was spring not hot yet. On the date of service the techs were prompt, professional, and friendly. They installed my new central AC unit in less time than they initially estimated. They were very knowledeable and also gave me great tips regarding which heater filters to buy and cleaned my heater at no extra charge. There was one minor issue regarding the AC tube caulking coming loose on the outside of my home several months later. I called them up and they apologized and came out to fix and I have had no problems since. I was very pleased with their service and would and will use them again.

My second time using Tony and his team. Arrived right on time, got to work, and left my house cleaner than when they started. Replaced entire heating/cooling system at my 2000SF home in Oreland, PA.I highly recommmend giving these guys a call!

Extremely well. It was the beginning of a heat wave in May. I called several companies. Everyone was busy. Got 3 estimates. All companies indicated it wold be a minimum of 4-6 weeks before the work could be done. My choice was based on the professionalism and thoroughness of the explanation provided of the work to be performed and why the recommended replacement was the best fit for my home. I was PLEASANTLY SURPRISED to receive a call to do the work a week later when a window opened up. Thanks to the team. I highly recommend East Coast Comfort!!!!
