Clean quick and reasonable install

It was right before I was about to go to bed and noticed it was chilly in the house . I turned up the thermostat but the heat never started blowing-In fact only cold air was blowing! I called East Coast Comfort, Inc. and spoke with Tony. (It was about midnight) He had answered his phone on the third ring and from the sounds of my issue Tony suggested not waiting until the morning. Quote: "Your house is not going to get any warmer". Tony arrived to my home in 45 minutes, you would of thought it was his first call of the day. His goal was to find resolution that night. Tony diagnosed the problem, found the defective part, called his supplier and had them open their doors afterhours to sell him the part he had needed to fix my heater. Within no time the problem was resolved and my heater was operating again. This is the first time I used East Coast Comfort and it sure won't be the last. Summer is coming and I feel alot safer knowing I have an older heating and cooling system and East Coast Comfort to be there for me. Thanks.

This is my third time using Tony. He is an excellent contractor. If anyone reads this I would recommend that you look no further for a heating contractor. I called him on a Thursday, he came out on a Saturday (no crazy extra surcharge fee). He's ALWAYS on time. His prices are ALWAYS fair. He explains everything that's wrong and even make other recommendations. He makes the customer feel comfortable. At no point did I ever wonder if he was trying to get over. I am now a loyal customer:)

Tony was amazingly responsive. His quote was one of two I got, at the worst possible time (it was really, really cold), for a new boiler, which I was planning to get anyway after finishing some rehab work. He responded immediately to my phone call and came to the house, discussed all options and then offered that for a few hundred dollars he could restore the still-working boiler for use while I was still doing renovations and considering a whole new system. The next day he replaced pipes, installed a new expansion tank and got the old boiler running. It took all day --- the old remaining piping was pretty funky --- and he probably charged less than he should have, though I'm not sure. (The downside is that I paid almost $500 to get a couple more months out of the boiler, but that was my decision.) More important, he went over many pros and cons of replacing my whole heating system, and he pointed out some problems (like my unlined chimney) that the other contractor never even mentioned. He thoroughly inspected the house to flag potential stumbling blocks. If he does do the final job, I'm confident it will be with expertise and thoroughness.

I was very happy with Tony and his crew. Tony was knowledgeable, responsive, listened to my needs, and was able to answer all my questions. The crew was professional, on time, and the work was clean and neat. I would definitely recommend ECC to others.

I called East Coast Sunday night after getting a call from a tenant that the pilot light on their heater would not stay lit. I spoke to Tony (owner East Coast Comfort) on the phone and he said he could be out first thing Monday morning. Tony was waiting at the property when I arrived at aprox. 7:45am Monday. He replaced a broken thermal coupling in less then an hour and left the work area cleaner then he found it. His price for parts and service were more then fair. I would not hesitate to call East Coast Comfort again.

I wanted them to remove the oil burner and then install the furnace and water heater. They came out when they said they would come and they got the estimate the next day. I had a couple of questions and they were very prompt in answering them. They seem to know their products and I was impressed by the company.

They were on time and they did a good job with no hassles.

Tony gave excellent customer service. I actually felt guilty because I was running late and he was there about 5 minutes earlier than our scheduled time. But he was great! He finished the job in a reasonanble amount of time and even looked at my other heating unit, that needs work also. Price was very reasonable. I did not get any feeling that he was trying to get over. He seems like an honest, trustworthy contractor and I am definitely using him again

We started off a few weeks ago getting estimates from several including our present a/c contractor. Subscribed to Angies list and researched a number of contractors. While most of the contractors were accomadating the range of estimates went from $6800 to $4400. All were for the same basic units.. 2 1/2 ton energy efficent a/c and replacement of furnace. We chose Tony and East Coast Comfort for the following reasons. He came in a timely fashion to give us an estimate, listened to what we needed and our budget constrants, Was able to target savings to incorporate in the estimate without sacrificing the integrity of the equipment. Did a modification to the ductwork to allow us to to change filters, eliminating that yearly service call and keeping the system running cleaner. After leaving , our estimate was received the beginning of the week via email followered by a phone call.. We scheduled the job for the following week..Then I had to postpone a week due to my schedule.. All "no problem" Tony arrive today first to pull the old equipment. His helper arrived about a half hour later and the two spent most of the day on the installation. They completed and tested the unit @ 4pm. finished. Nice job clean and neat from the outside where he re-set the base and even cleaned weeds around the unit Installed new a/c lines and a outside shutoff,everything again clean and neat. The inside was the same, clean and neat floors. Bottom line... These are good people, honest reliable excellent mechanics. After we set the contract, I found out that a co-worker had used this company with Tony installing a furnace and A/c also very pleased.

Overall, it went very well. Ed was prompt, polite, and informative. The written estimate was comprehensible. If I had questions, Ed and Tony were responsive and thoughtful, and got back to me quickly.The crew came on time, worked hard, and got the job done in one day. They did a good job of cleaning up. I am thrilled with how well the units work. A cool house in Philly in August is a beautiful thing! I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I had a great experience with East Coast Comfort. I called several HVAC companies to give me quotes on replacing my furnance and installing central air. Tony and his team was the only company who was able to quickly deliver a proposal at a fair and reasonable price. He made sure I fully understood the work that would take place and educated me on the energy efficiency tax rebate. As soon as I accepted the proposal, we set a date for the work to be completed. Tony was able to accomodate my schedule and within a week I had a new HVAC system. On the day of service, he showed up on time (graciously accomodating my work schedule) and his team was neat and clean. The work was finished that same day and they left the house tidy and better than how they found it.

I truly regret that I did not end up using this company. I found someone else who underbid them, but that price ended up being a scam. East Coast Comfort was responsive and helpful, and if I could do it again I would have considered using them.

Excellent! Do business with this company. They came in when scheduled. They installed a new heating system and central air, ran some new duct work and stayed until the job was finished. The estimate was right on and there were no extra fees. The guys were polite, and professional. I highly recommend them.

Other companies have charged me thousands of dollars to not fix the problems this company did so quickly.
