John Hummer the estimator explained to us very clearly what they were going to do.

As a former roofer, I went into the process with a skeptical eye. First had Johnny come out to estimate the cost to repair the primary problem, which was a leak in our 2nd floor master bedroom. Due to my being out of town during his first visit, I actually made him come back out more than once and walk the roof with me to discuss the various problems, which he was kind enough to oblige. Unfortunately, it turns out the former owner had incorrectly installed a heavy wooden deck on the 3rd floor, which had damaged the underlying roof. Cost to tear off the deck and replace the roof was $1,400. Add pavers to allow us to still use the space: $700. I was so pleased with their work, I had Johnny and crew come back to repair our main roof and install additional gutters ($3,850). They did an excellent job in a timely fashion. I had have them back out for a few small items afterward that were not quite to my liking, but they did so the next day without a hassle. So far no new leaks. Ask for Johnny, if you like my story. He is an honest man, who will not up-sell you on unnecessary repairs and materials.

Ed came out and did a run through, showed me the roof, how it could be improved. gave me an estimate right there, on the spot. Great guys, very friendly, would definitely work with them again. I even had scheduling conflicts, that were all my issues, and citywide worked with me, without complaints.

Workers arrived on time, got straight to work and finished in record time (on one of the hottest days this summer, bless them!) They cleaned up beautifully when finished! Great job!

They seemed to do a very good job. Their prices are quite reasonable for the work they did. They just did the work recently, but everything has been great so far. They were delayed because of rain, but they made sure to come out as soon as it was dry enough to do the work. I was very happy with them and would use them again.

I phoned on Monday and made an appointment for an estimate on Tuesday morning. Ed showed up when he said he would. What impressed me though was his honesty. He recommended against siding and made some suggestions on what options might be better - and none of those services his company provided. Honest contractors always impress me and Ed deserves some credit for that.

Ed O'Neal was responsive, punctual and very professional and courteous. He took some digital photos of roof and damage to back roof (replaced through insurance a few years ago). The front roof needed replacing and some wood under new roof on back needed replacing. Ed's estimate was less than first estimate and included repair to back roof. Ed provided a written estimate that included an additional $80 per sheet of wood needed. I called on Tuesday to approve work and they were here on Thursday and completed the work in one day (2 trucks, 3-4 workers). Final cost matched the estimate - no additional wood.

Requested a quote and received it promptly. There was a follow-up call too. I eventually chose a local contractor for reasons not related to this company.

Ed O'Neill the estimator was prompt and courteous. The estimate was done back in November but the work had to wait for the completion of other work on the house. Once we had the roofing work scheduled they were prompt in providing the insurance certificate which I requested in light of the work involved both height and blow-torch heat sealing of the roofing material. It was not easy picking a good weather day but Citywide picked the only good rain free day that week. The crew showed up early and finished the work on schedule. The roofs looked great.

Ed came out to view the roof and consult within two days of me contacting him. He took the time to answer all my questions in detail and describe the job. He then wrote out his proposal on site and gave me a copy of what would be the contract before leaving. In the contract was an included Angie’s List discount. I scheduled them to start that Tuesday, but they had to cancel that morning on account of rain. We rescheduled for the next day and they showed up in the morning. They worked for around 5 hours. They moved all easily damaged items and roofing out of harm's way, put down cloths, and took care to not mark or damage the landscaping. They were polite, professional, and happy to answer any questions I had. The supervisor found some issues with my siding and made recommendations on how I could repair them myself. He also cleaned my gutters and reattached some loose pieces. This may possibly be my best experience with a contractor.

They were very quick. They came when they said they would come and were done promptly. Their estimate was right on target. They were very friendly and easy to work with. I was very pleased with their work; they did a good job!

City Wide gave us an estimate the day after we called them. They explained what was wrong and the process to fix it. They scheduled the work the next day and arrived on time. The guys were courteous and professional. They also cleaned out our gutters at no extra charge. Overall it was a great experience and we would recommend them to others.

The flat roof at the back of our house had been leaking and the rain was consistent for days. I contacted City Wide and they came out, gave their estimate and arranged to come the next day. They not only replaced the flat roof but included a replacement for a missing drainspout in the front of the house as well. They were professional and cleaned up thoroughly after. They offered the discount because we used Angie's list.

Great experience. Prompt return of phone calls. Took before and after photographs with my camera. Safely took down a fallen antenna for me without charge.

Arrived a day after my original call. Provided a detailed reusable estimate to replace the roof. Did not apply any high pressure sales tactics. Were somewhat vague about the start of work date. Once started worked professionally and cleanly. Finish whole roof in about 3 days. No issues post installation.

John, from City Wide Roofing, came out to the building the same day I called to assess the situation. He was very friendly and clearly knew what he was talking about, but in case he missed something, he took photos and told me he would review the problem and the situation with his boss to be sure that the work would be done properly for this particular situation. He was aware of our budget, and did his best to solve the problem in an affordable manner. As the work went on, there were some additional problems that were discovered and were addresses without and additional charge. The workers actually took pride in the challenge of this project, and the repairs have performed perfectly in all of the recent rain storms. The work was completed in two days and the workers were clean and conscientious of protecting the other parts of the building that they were working around.

They were excellent and provided very good quality of service. The only negative thing was that they disturbed my cable connection and I had to pay to get it fixed.

Met with Ed. He explained the scope of the job, what was causing the problem and how to fix it. His guy came out the next day replaced the roof and gave me an extended warranty on the roof.

Very prompt with the estimate. Did the work as soon as possible after I approved. Actually did the work on a Sunday because of all of the rain the prior week. Looks like a good job.

I received bids from five roofers to replace the roof on a house we just purchased through a forclosure. City Wide was not the lowest bid but Ed, the estimator, did the most detailed assessment of the roof and was, I felt, the most upfront about what needed to be done. I felt that the other lower bids would have hit me with a lot of change orders and I felt that I could trust Ed and I was right. He had given a price per square foot for replacement decking but they did not need to replace any so I was not charged. I mentioned also that I was having an issue with a home inspector scaring away a buyer for my other house because of the roof and he checked it out and City Wide replaced it two days later for a very reasonable price. The workers were diligent and cleaned up the grounds when they left. I would highly recommend the company and plan to use them again in both work and personal investments.

The employees came out for the estimate and the job right on time. They did the job when they said they would and just how they said that they would. Everyone was very professional during our conversations and throughout the project. I had a conversation following the patch work about the state of the roof and inquired about an estimate for the entire roof replacement. During this conversation they told me that did I want to go with the entire roof replacement, they would discount the six hundred dollars that I had spent on the repair as well as given me a referral discount for finding them on Angie's List. One of the reasons that I choose to go with City Wide Roofing was when I was searching them on Angie's List someone had lodged a complaint against them and they took the time to contact Angie's List and try to rectify their wrong. I thought that was exceptionally professional that they took the time to speak up, acknowledge their wrong, and try to fix it.

Representative came to perform an inspection to give an estimate. His crew located at another location could not perform their work so he offered to complete my repair instead. No complaints about leaks from the tenants yet. So I have to assume that the work is satisfactory.

He was very good and did a very good job. He was excellent. Each time I had to call him he responded immediately. He was very respectful of my stuff. He cleaned everything up and put everything back where he got it. He had left some of his material on my neighbor's roof and he came right back out and got it. I thought the price was a little high. I have some other work that I need done and I intend to use him for that as well.

Their estimate came in lower than all the other ones. We asked them if the workers spoke English, and he told us most of his workers didn't, but the foreman on the job would speak English. They cleaned up while they were doing the work.

The estimator was polite and knowledgeable. The work crew was the same. The work was done as expected.
