They just finished our roof and put in a new skylight- excellent work

We are in Haddonfield NJ. City Wide Roofing removed our old roof and put a new roof on our 3 story twin in one day! It looks beautiful! Everything was left clean and neat. The price was the best around!

They were prompt, not sure how reasonable the price is. First big rain storm since, and it appears to still be leaking. Emailed yesterday and haven't received a response yet. Will update once we see more. Leak is as bed or worse than ever.

The roof still leaks and the new roof shingles water is getting inside of them this company did a bad job on my small roof in the back of my house. I wish that I could send you the picture wow. I have been trying to get this company city wide roofing to come back out but they have not need help!!! Very bad

I contacted this roofing company because they brought out the company that did my roof years ago. I spoke with. I had told them I wanted to recoat my roof because I was in the process of selling my home. I explained to them that I was waiting for the inspector to come out to assess what actually needed to be done and then I would contact them. They called me back and spoke with my husband and gave him an estimate of the cost. My husband told them we would be in contact. In the interim time we decided to go with a general contractor who we had hired to do other jobs we needed done before the sell of my house. My contractor did the roof job and took pictures of what was done on 9/12. Citywide called me on 9/25 to ask how I was going to pay for their service, I was dumbfounded! What service???? I told them no one from their company did work on my roof so they insisted they would have the roofer contacted. I get a call from Jimmy who was rude and nasty to tell me he did the work on my roof. I do t know what roof he was on but it wasn’t mine. Additionally citywide said they performed the work FIVE days after my contractor did the repairs!!!! The roofer threatened to take care of it and come back to my roof to undo what he did....... but he didn’t do the work!!!!!! If anyone from that company comes near my home I will call the police. They are charging me for work I paid another contractor for. Wow!!!! Unbelievable.

They left roofing material and footprints all over my steps. It cost me 150.00 to have them power washed. Then was cursed several times and called a liar ,now I worry if something happens to the roof my guarantee won't be honored. These guys were very unprofessional.

This went very well, from estimation to completion. Jimmy is always very helpful and the guys did an excellent job.

They did a good job in putting a new downspout from the roof to the drain.

They showed up when they said, they ripped off more than three sections of shingle and replaced it beautifully with all new flashing, the price was the best I could find outta like ten roofers. Jimmy, Francisco, and the whole crew are BEAST. They are truly professionals at their trade. They came in like a swat team and I was amazed. Being in the construction, paver world myself, it's rare that you get to see such professionalism in the roofing world. One day, six layers, brand new shingle, replaced wood, did everything. I will be referring them to everyone I know and any future houses I buy, these are my guys!!! Thank you so much, J. Gallahan

No work was done for our recent problem.

They were very nice and very good. They're very professional and very detailed. When they gave me the free estimate, they were very detailed. They're usually prompt, on time and they finished at within acceptable hours. There was nothing long hanging. They're in and out within acceptable times. Their price was in the middle. They were pretty good. They definitely call and talk to you.

The Roof was completely failed. You could see the holes thru the bedroom on the second floor. I got 3 quotes. John at City Wide was the most Knowledgeable, Professional and responsive out of the bunch. He walked me thru everything that they were going to do. The estimate was complete with a line by line breakdown which included their License and Insurance info. Its been over 2 years and the roof is just as good as the day they put it on. I know I'm scheduled for some routine maintenance, which I plan on scheduling soon. This company is easy to work with. The reps are FANTASTIC and the work is quality.

I dealt with Jimmy primarily this time, who was very knowledgeable and responsive. This was the 2nd time I used City Wide. Nothing but a fantastic experience each time!!! The roof was leaking over the winter when the snow would melt. I had a guy come out and repair it but it really didn't help. I knew it was a while since the roof was replaced, so I called City Wide. Jimmy gave me a quote the next day and had me scheduled for the following week and it went perfectly. There has been no problems since. Great People and Great Company!!!

Be advised that this complaint is about service (or lack thereof) after the initial work was done. As far as I can tell, the initial work was fine. I was given a 15 year warranty. Six years after installation, I am selling my home. The roof has held up very well. The seller's inspector found some minor issues, and the seller requested repair as part of the sale conditions. I called City Wide twice with no return call. On the third call, I did reach someone who told me that the warranty did not apply to the kind of work I was requesting, and that I should have been using their maintenance program. He insisted that this was indicated on all of their contracts. I told the person I spoke to that this was not on my signed invoice. He asked that I scan and send a copy of the invoice and they would get back to me. I sent the scan, and did not hear back. I called again and the scan was never referenced. I was again told that the repairs I requested would not be covered but that the fee would be very small to do what I was asking. I needed to get that work done as I am moving in a few weeks, so I made an appointment for them to come out on Friday 4/3. When they didn't show up, I called, and someone in the office answered the phone. They said that they were not working because it was Good Friday, and it had started to rain. The rain part I could understand, but they didn't call to say that they weren't coming. And the Good Friday thing was never mentioned during that prior phone call. And, there was someone in the office answering the phone. They then said that they would come out today, Saturday the 4th. I am still sitting here waiting and they haven't shown up. or called. I have called the office twice and gotten an answering machine. I'm sure that when I next speak to them, they will insist that they don't work on Saturdays, even though they made the appointment. Foolishly I did not ask for a name. The final blow is that they will not assign the warranty to the new owner. There is simply no reason for that. Clearly this company is more than willing to show up to do the initial work but will not honor their commitment to follow up unless the repair is financially worth their while. They have failed to answer calls, lied about missing appointments, and been negligent and manipulative about the conditions of following up on their work They have insisted on conditions that were never communicated to me, and did not respond to the information I provided regarding the initial work, at their request. Meanwhile I am moving in two weeks and I have no idea if they will ever respond and/or show up. I picked this company because, at the time, they had excellent ratings on Angie's List. Caveat Emptor, big time. I would stay far away from these guys.

Received a very timely response to a request for an estimate. After considering other estimates I chose this company because I had used them for another job and had no complaints. There were some delays in getting the work completed due to holidays and weather but it was completed in time to sell the house.

I would not put it past City Wide to threaten the building community after this review.

Recently I had another leak from the same general area of the ceiling. They came out, ready to provide a new skylight if necessary, but it turned out that the leak was coming from the exhaust vent, which had been improperly installed and was causing condensation.

I have been using them for a while and they are great. I would highly recommend them and will continue to use them.

We called City Wide Roofing on Tuesday. Jimmy came right away and inspected the roof and said he would have workers out immediately to do the roof service. On Thursday, three guys came. They were very professional, courteous and efficient. The work was done beautifully. Of course, we still have to see how the roof holds up but so far so good!

They were really high. Their bid was just out of line. They gave me a bid pretty quickly. They did on it pretty quick, it's just that they're out of line. I don't have any real problem with them other than the price.

Initial replacement went well. A small leak developed two years after installment. The company had my records on file and repaired the leak in accordance with the warranty without any hassle.

Garage: They brought a team of six workers and got the work done in 10 hours. They had estimated it to be a 1 to 11/2 day job.. As soon as they gotto the house they went right to work and only took a 30 minute break for lunch. The workers and the foreman were professional and efficient. 2 years later I had to call them back for a leak. It took them3 weeks to come out and fix it. All seems fine since the repair. Rental Property: Again, they came in with a team and completed 3 flat roofs in 8 hours. Everything has held up and has been well tested by several strong storms.

I called originally because my skylight had been leaking, they come up there and suggested I do all the work listed below: - Install white torrchdown rubber to top roof. - Install white torrchdown rubber to partywalls. - Install rubber flashing around chimney skylight. - Install new 4" drain box on back of roof. - Install new white capping on back, front of roof. - Apply roofing cement to all capping - Caulk and seal glass on skylight. I figured well, why not, investment on a roof is never wasted. I have paid the $1650 in April 2014. Today is July 8th, 2014. First off (this should have been a red flag) they never provided a BEFORE pics, and after the supposed work was "completed" there is no AFTER pics either. What? Do they expect me to climb up there myself to verify? The skylight is still leaking - of course at this point I didn't know that there was nothing actually done there. Days pass by and the skylight is still leaking.... I finally went up there on July 3rd 2014 because the skylight is STILL LEAKING and realized then that NONE of the work has been done. Today I call them, sending them a copy of the work order and a picture of the roof taken on July 3rd, 2014. I will revise when I get a resolution.

Responded to request for estimate in a timely fashion. Scheduled the work within a week, and completed the job within one day. Excellent service, very professional.
