Basement gurus, from the owner Dan to all the workers did an excellent job waterproofing my basement. They were very responsive, professional, honest, competitively-priced, and got the job done in a couple of days. Canâ  t speak highly enough about them.

After a flood in my basement I needed a good contractor to fix my drywall. I contacted basement gurus and they handled the drywall repair efficiently I was very happy with the result of the project. Now my basement is back to normal and the whole family has somewhere to hang out

Requested quote on putting in concrete porch. Received a quote and they started the work the very next day! The Forman was very detailed, in the work the workers were doing. They did an excellent job! What really impressed me too, a young lady in front of the house had a flat tire, the Forman stopped his work, and asked her if he could assist her. You donâ t see that often now days Would recommend Basement Gurus for sure!!

I decided to work with this company because out of the 4 companies I asked, this one was the only one which told me something about my basement that the others didn't notice. Also they helped me financed the rest of the money and their work is warranty for life.

I used Basement Guru's for a multi-project situation at my house in spring 2021. Dan was super professional and courteous and very helpful - as was his team that showed up to do the actual work. One major thing I liked is that they were able to accomplish a bunch of projects for me. It was easy to find one company to do a french drain - and another to do a new window well - but - in addition - I had three other projects - for a total of 5 to get completed at once! Basement Guru's was able to fix ALL of these issues for me! Getting water in my finished basement was horrible for me and my family - in a room we use daily. Dan and his team made the process to get it fixed as easy as possible and with great communication and concern for my and my families well being. I literally had 10 companies come and give me quotes and their opinions. 3 of them tried to sell me on something that was obviously NOT needed. 2 were terrible communicators - I had to chase after them to get a quote! The rest - couldn't do ALL of the work - just some of the work. Before posting this - I was reading some of the other reviews Basement Gurus received. Like anything else - perception is certainly everything. I am the kind of person that does a ton of research and gets a bunch of quotes. Customer service is very important to me. Certainly, there is absolutely no way a company can please everybody - and have every job go 100% well - its just not possible. Was I completely 100% satisfied with everything this company did for me? Of course not. However, I will say this - Dan and his team went out of their way to make things right and to make me happy. Do i recommend them? YES !! But, even more important........Would I hire them again??? - absolutely!

They were on time, finished in a day and cleaned everything after they finished!!! I HIGHLY Recommend them!

Dan and his team did a great job in this project. I’ve been in my home for 10 years and suffered from a damp basement. Had some prior waterproofing work done that didn’t solve the issue. Dan came in, looked at the job, spent time explaining things to me, and came up with a plan to fix the issue. It was a big ticket job, but well worth it. I’ve not had any issues with water in the basement since Dan and his team completed the work 9/2020.

This company was great. When hiring contractors it often feels like trying to solve a mystery about everything from price, to timeline, to how to get them on the phone. Not the case with this company! Phil came out explained exactly what the coats would be for each piece of the job from repair through restoration after we had flooding. The price was very reasonable and work for started right away. When an unexpected issue came up that had to be addressed before repairs could continue, we were given multiple options at different price points to fix it. At no time were decision points made into high pressure sales pitches. Our contractor Jose was reliable, professional, and respectful of our home. Bonnie who worked with scheduling the work was easy to reach whenever we needed. Hopefully I never have issues in my basement again but I would hire basement gurus without hesitation if I did.

First lets just say I am a little OCD when it comes to work in my house :) I needed my basement waterproofed. Given the scope of work and the expense involved I wanted to make sure I get the RIGHT contractor. I got 8 bids for the job. Basement Gurus blew the others away. The price was very competitive. The customer service was great. I knew exactly what they were doing each step of the way. They showed me the materials involved and explained the entire process in detail. The work was beyond expectations. They showed up on time, with a huge crew. Given the size of the crew it was amazing to watch how well everyone worked together. It was like a well oiled machine! I can tell these guys have been doing this for a long time. The finished the job on time and left the place cleaner than before!!! They even had a guy washing my deck to make sure they didn't leave any dusty footprints. That kind of attention to detail is unheard of these days. Overall, they are amazing. I could not have asked for a better crew or customer service!!!

Basement Gurus was a great company to work with. They were very professional, gave us a reasonable quote, and took care of everything in a timely manner. Our basement water issue is completely resolved.

I'm not fully moved into the home yet, but I will update when I am there permanently. The crew was very professional, worked diligently, cleaned up after every day of work (three day job--french drain expansion, two additional sump pumps installed, window drains into the sump pumps, pretty extensive job).

I had a sump pump installation and front steps installation . They did a good job.

Chris and Dan at basement Gurus were terrific to work with. My finished basement was a long term disaster with must and mildew in my walls and carpet. We no longer wanted to spend time there. I had a team of 12 guys come and do an excellent job in installing my French drain and a full perimeter pressure release system with two sump pumps. NO more water! Then Kurt came and refinished my basement so it was a complete job done through Basement Gurus. See the beautiful result below. I couldn't be happier! As a pastor, I was looking for honest men to do quality work! These guys were terrific!

We had water issues in the basement for 8 years. Basement Gurus completed a french drain in my entire basement in one day. After a couple of heavy rainstorms, the basement stayed dry. The pumps did their job. The owner is very professional, and the workers are very courteous. if you are having water issues in your basement, I would recommend this company to anyone. I also had them do a concrete pad on the front porch and have gotten compliments from the neighbors on a job well done.

We had a really bad storm and my basement had water all over the place, I called a few places but Basement Gurus where there the next day. When I met with Dan Kelly for the estimate he was on time, wore his mask and we did a walk-through inside the basement and outside the perimeter of my home. He asked me exactly what I would like done and how Basement Gurus could help. Dan offered me different options, was very informative and showed me what materials they use compare to others. We sat down and reviewed the cost of options and set the install date, he also mentioned that they had a finance option in case I needed it. Dan was very professional, treated me like if we knew each other for years and NOT pushy at all to sell me on his product. Once the date was set, his crew came in early in the morning and was done the same day. Very happy with my decision, not had a leak since and have peace of mind. After the job was completed, Dan contacted me to see how everything was going and I informed him that we had lost my dad, he gave me his condolences and next thing I know I received a card in the mail from him and Basement Gurus. Their salesman, Phil Thistle, was very straightforward and honest. Their crews showed up on time and worked smart to do a quality job. Everyone was very professional and helpful. The basement remains bone dry during and after any rain events, large or small.

Its not often that you find someone you can recommend and they were very great.

Dan Kelly is honest and will address any issues in the system. We had flooding due to poor drainage. Dan helped design a system to divert the water around and further away from our finished basement. When the system was overwhelmed in heavy downpour, they came back out twice to make necessary changes to keep all the water out of the basement.

Worked with them to install french drain and sump in basement of home we recently purchased. There was an existing sump, but no french drain, and the location of the existing sump was inconvenient. Relocated sump to a corner where it was not in the way. Work was fast and efficient.

Excellent service and response to all my questions and concerns. I would definitely hire them again.
