+ -1 moreGreat experience. I called them around noon. Jon called me back shortly there after and said he could come out after 2. He called about quater of two to let me know he was on his way. He was prompt and on time. He snaked the drain out in about 30-40 minutes and now I can do my laundry:)

+ -1 moreStarted off great. Andy came over, explained the work to my wife and worked with us to get a reasonable way to fix the issues. Said he'd send an estimate for the work... After a couple weeks, with no estimate, my wife called twice with no response. I called and Andy called me right back and told me and quot;he sent the estimate via email and would resend immediatelyand quot;. Well I never received it and I never received the resent estimate either. I even emailed Andy with my correct email address to make sure he had it. Guess he just didn't want the work but there's no excuse for not returning multiple calls.
Description of Work: Tried to have Andy redo lead drain pipes in my bathroom.

After a bit of confusion about when he was suppose to come, we were able to meet up and he provided us with his recommendations for a repair. We had contacted another plumber at the same time who provided a more efficient repair, therefore, we did not follow up with Andy for the price quote. Overall our interaction with Andy was positive, and we would contact him again for an estimate for plumbing.
Description of Work: Andy provided an on-site work scope for a plumbing repair to utility shaft. He explained 3 possible options in detail.

He even provided a small discount on the labor price because the old heater had been completely drained. Andy and his colleague were personable and professional. Both clearly answered whatever technical and maintenance questions I had.
Description of Work: Contacted Andy's late Friday to replace my 15 y.o. electric HW heater. Horrible timing since a replacement heater would not be available until Monday.

I had water in my basement and I realized that it wasn't coming from my house; it was coming from my neighbor. I was very pleased with their service.

+ -1 moreAndy's came highly recommended but It did not go well. The work was performed (I might be off on the dates) but later, I smelled gas in the basement. It turns out that the plumber had cut the gas line when doing the work and gas was leaking. I called and was told that they were busy and they were not sure when they could come back. Since there was gas in the house, I had to call Phila Gas Works who came out and shut our gas off. Totally. We had no hot water in the house and no way to cook. I have three small children so it was a problem. So I called back and eventually, the owner came out to fix it. There was another issue when he came back out. Eventually, it was fixed. But the damage was done.
Description of Work: We had some pipe work done in the kitchen and had the gas line moved in order to accommodate a new stove.

+ -1 moreWonderful. We called them at 7:00PM and left a message. They returned our call the next day at 8:00AM. My husband and I were on our way to work so we set up an appointment for the next day. They arrived around 3:00PM. Very professional, my husband really liked them. Others have tried to clear this sewer drain and failed. They had to do a lot of snaking and found that we had a lot of grease build up. They tested the drain a bunch of times before they left. We have a 30 day guarentee. We will use them again for other plumbing work.
Description of Work: They to snaked our sewer pipe all the way to the street. Our basement laundry tub had been backing up and flooding the basement every time it rained. When I tried to do laundry I would have to stop the machine and wait until the water in the laundry tub went down. It was taking me 4 hours to do a load of laundry.

Description of Work: Andy's Plumbing installed a Coleman High Efficiency HVAC system in our home. There are very efficient and professional. Showing up when they say they will, answering the phone when you call. For instance I also purchased a humidifier to go along with the system. I thought there was something wrong with it because the empty light kept coming on. To show you what a great plumber and HVAC system installer Andy is, he came over to my house, replaced the apparently deficient unit. He took it home to his own house to install it and watch what it did. By doing this he figured out that what was happening was normal and this wasn't a deficient unit. I'm not sure how many people are out there doing this kind of thing. Highly recommended.

Description of Work: We'd just moved into our house and the water heater began to leak; it was obvious that we needed a new one. Andy returned my frantic call later that night and after we talked over the terms of his service, I called again the next day after shopping around, and scheduled the removal of our old heater (I'd already drained it) and the installation of a new Bradford White 80 gallon. The guys had to carry the tank over some rough terrain into the basement but they didn't seem annoyed or put out by it. The installation went smoothly and all has been well since (~2 weeks ago). What was most appealing about Andy's plumbing services was that the water heater he provided would be covered by Andy's Plumbing by a 6 year labor warranty from Andy's Plumbing themselves (the tank itself is covered for 6 years, but parts only after the first year).

The day of, they were a little held up at the person's house before mine and they called before my appt. to let me know that they would be late and to find out if that was okay. I was pleased that they offered a 30-day guarantee on the work. Their pricing was reasonable for the work they did and their quality. I will definitely call them in the future.
