The crew arrived on time and left my windows sparkling.

The service was not the greatest but it was decent. I had to continue asking them about a few marks on the windows I could see from the inside. They said the marks were on the inside so I then cleaning the inside of the windows. I showed them the marks and they agreed it was from the outside. They to clean about five or six windows twice.

I am very pleased with their work. They were prompt and efficient. When I point out a spot that I wanted them to redo, they got it done. I would definitely be calling them again.

They did an ok job. They booked me on Monday and didn’t show. They said there was a misunderstanding and were very apologetic. They came early the next day. It was just a basic job and didn’t really go above and beyond. It was what I expected though. I did have to call after they left because some of the screens were put in wrong and the guy was out here within 5 mintues to fix it. They did respond in a timely manner.

They did okay in the beginning, then they didn’t do as good on the back of the house. They did some additional work, cleaning my skylight, but that wasn’t done the way that they had verbally explained it.

I purchased the "big deal" on Angie's List for Holiday light hanging for $99 on 11/23/2012. I wanted to get lights hung before a party on Dec 7th and did not have any time to do it so I thought this would be a great idea. I e-mailed them to set up a time and they immediately scheduled me for Tuesday, December 4th and sent an e-mail that a crew would arrive "between 12 and 3". I confirmed this appt. I then received a confirmation which stated I would have 2 man hours of hanging including a staple gun application but that I would have to provide my own clips. I e-mailed back a screen print of the deal which specifically stated that it "included standard light clips" but was told "we offer outdoor staples which usually work great". Now something more to go pick up that I didn't have time for. I asked if the cost could be deducted and she stated she could find out from the owner. I ultimately just decided to just leave the reimbursement issue alone and purchase the clips to be used. On the date of the appointment, I had another appointment in the morning and I had to pick up the remaining lights that were needed for the house but I thought I would have plenty of time since the crew (1-2 people according to the confirmation e-mail) would be arriving at 12 at the earliest. As I was trying to get out the door at 9am, a crew of 4 people knocked on the door and said they were ready to hang lights. I said I didn't even have all of the lights yet and they were not supposed to be there until 12. I gave them what I had to put up which was some lights above the garage and some lighted garland around the front posts. I gave them extension cords and told them exactly which outlet to use and where to connect it. The two that were going to put the lighted garland around the posts then asked me if I had some tacks or something. This was just beyond belief at this point. I said that I thought they were supposed to have outdoor staples (as stated in the e-mail) but they did not have anything. So now, late to my appointment, I had to try searching for tacks or for my own staple gun or something. Again, I purchased this "deal" for the convenience factor--I moved recently and can't find everything quickly. I found tacks for them and told them I had to leave for my appointment to which they replied they would just wait around until I got back. I told them I did not want them just waiting around when I wasn't there so they agreed to leave and come back. Meanwhile the person tiling in my house arrived before I did and said they started pounding on the door at 11:30. I arrived back home at noon which was the scheduled time with the remainder of the lights. They then told me the outlet they were trying to use on the side of the house for the lights above the garage didn't work. I reminded them that I clearly told them when they got there to use the outlet at the front of the hosue and run an extension cord to the side. Since they didn't do that, they started at the wrong end and then decided to go up over the roof to connect the cords and create an unsightly "fix". There were four more strips of lights to hang at this point. They hung them and left. When it got dark enough to see the lights, I noticed they left a gap where they connected the strings, rather than overlapping them. They had also taken a white cord although green were provided as well and put it in the most prominent place on the front force which stuck out like a sore thumb. Whe whole thing looked terrible and had to be extensively redone by my husband in the rain on the day of the party. I sent an e-mail to the contact on 12/09 with all of the above information and attached pictures. She replied "we are looking into this matter" and then said to let her know if there were any additional charges to what I purchased through Angie's List. Additional charges? I don't even know how they could have charged my credit card without me knowing about it but I went and checked my card anyway. Thankfully nothing further had been charged. I waited until the 15th to hear from the company to see what they were going to do to make this right and then e-mailed again. The representative replied "I'm not sure where the miscommunication is but I received your email on the 9th and emailed you back the next day. We have been awaiting your response since then. As part of rectifying the situation, managment would like to know what additional costs you incurred" I replied that she had only asked my to let them know IF I had inurred additional charges which I had not so I did not know they were waiting for me to respond either way. The last communication from the company stated "I will forward the information to management and will try and get back to you with some information tomorrow. This e-mail was received on December 19th. It is now January 9th and I have yet to receive a reponse. I have spent way more time and and trouble than if I had never made this regretful purchase and I have given the company ample time and information to rectify the situation. I think the idea of using a window washing crew to hang lights is a great idea to keep the crews working in the colder months. However, additional training, better communication and providing the services promised in the correct timeframe with the correct supplies is necessary to make this worth the cost.

I purchased an Angie's list "deal" and booked the service after the expiration date so they were very nice to still honor my "deal". The lady on the phone was very nice. She reviewed the price per window and what would be "extra" but I did not write this info down and should have. The service was scheduled for anytime from 11-4pm. At 9am, I get a knock on my door and they were there ready to work. It was great they were early, but they should have called. I was counting on the two hours to get the windows ready, (remove storm windows and screens) so I was not at all ready for them. I could be wrong, but I thought the lady on the phone said that the service provider would review what windows needed washing with me and then give me a price. That did not quite happen. We reviewed windows but it was not clear how much each would cost and when or if I hit my $99 deal limit. I was unsure if it cost me to have them remove screens, etc. as well. The service providers were very good and efficient, but I am just not sure if I got my money's worth. In the future, I will ask for a detailed pricing on each service as we review the work, but I would use them again.

They came out right away. They were very, very nice when they originally came out. However, after they left I noticed they’d skipped windows. I had them come out a second to complete them – they weren’t as happy that time and after they left I noticed they’d left some screens on the grass. I wasn't really comfortable a third time & have someone else helping fix this.

Purchased through Angie's List Big Deal. Mostly fine in terms of promptness and general professionalism - but window washing quality was not great and several windows (discussed to be within the allowable count of what was purchased) were not washed despite my pointing out they still needed to be washed.

A crew arrived on time , assessed the job to be done (10 windows- inside/outside), brought in the needed supplies and equipment and got right to work. Some of the team worked indoors and others outdoors (on ladders, where needed). The cleaning job was good, streak free. I did have to prompt them to wipe down the sills which was advertised as part of the service and about which I'm very fussy. The team was respectful of my home and courteous. I will definitely call on them again for the rest of home's windows come Spring.

The crew couldn't complete the pressure washing work due to their limited equipment. According to the service agreement, the price includes entire house wash for up to 2-story house. We have a typical 2 story suburban house in a development with walkout basement on the backside of the house and the ground is lower than the front part of the house. The worker said that they couldn?t wash 2nd floor wall on the back because they are not equipped for washing higher than 2-story house and our house is considered as a 3-story house. When I called the office, I was told by Disiree, the manager at the company,said that my house is considered as a 3-story house, but the work crews in California and Georgia can complete wash the houses like mine. They offered to wash 2nd floor siding on the back of the house with extra charge after their crew secure longer ladder. I refused it. It seemed like that the company hired independent window washing company without checking their capability and promoting the package deal saying covers 2-story house. I reality, some of their crew can?t wash typical suburban 2-story houses. I consider this type of marketing is dishonest. However, the company insisted that they did nothing wrong and I was simply unlucky to deal with the work crew who can't wash the 2-story house. They should have notified me about their crew's limitation . In addition, I discovered later that leaked oil from their crew's washer stained our paving stone in front and back.

They failed to show up on 2 separate occasions so I requested a refund.

The windows were washed well. The company had a little trouble scheduling me. Then they didn't show up on the appointed day. They did go out of their way to come the next day, a Sunday, to get the job done, but showed up at 7 am, an hour before they were scheduled to come. I literally was still asleep in bed when they knocked on the door. I thought that was quite unreasonable to come that early on a Sunday.

They cancelled on initial appointment and showed up early on the reschedule so nobody was home. They did the work and left a receipt. I would like to have been home to see what they were doing. Overall though the gutters aren't overflowing so I assume they did a good job. There was good communication with the scheduler. we knew in advance they were cancelling.

I want to preface this by saying that this company sub-contracts, so this may be an isolated incidence- I wouldn't know. America's Best was able to schedule me right away and the crew arrived right on time. However, they arrived with buckets of water and proceeded to "squeegie" the windows getting water all over my brand new wood floors. When I asked if they could put some type of protection down, the young lady pulled out a small rag. So I gave her a drop cloth to use. There was a debate between America's Best and the subcontractor over the phone in my presence about the cost of additional services which I found to be uncomfortable and unprofessional. The deal included wiping down the sills- after they left I found dead "stinkbugs" (very common in Pa) so they could not have possibly wiped down the sills. In addition, I found that they had broken off at least 5 clips for my screens and just left they on the windowsills and did not advise me that they had broken. I watched the supervisor open a window and in the process hit a stained glass item that was hanging in it. He clearly recognized that he needed to be careful with it, but when he closed the window he hit it again, only this time broke it. Again- not a word to me. The best part was when they were leaving and I had to pay for anything over the 20 sides- outside windows were $5 extra and inside were $3 extra... as I had MY choice of which "sides" I wanted done (ANY combination of inside/outside) I naturally counted all the outsides first and assumed I would only have to pay for additional "insides" at $3 each. When they handed me a bill for twice what I expected to pay, they explained that I was paying for additional "outsides" at $5 Of course I refused to pay it "as they calculated and only paid for "insides" but it left me with the feeling that they must have thought I was an idiot!! I was anxious for them to leave and even gave them a tip (I always tip regardless) but would never use this company again. America's Best never called me after the job to see how it went- if they had, I likely wouldn't have written this up.

Nothing to report, no one contacted us and no service was provided.

I purchased a Big Deal offer to include the pressure washing of my home as well as the cleaning of my windows. I called the company and scheduled a date for the services to be performed. Unfortunately, the morning of the scheduled services I received a garbled message telling me the services were cancelled due to the temperatures and I would need to reschedule. I was extremely disappointed that this decision could not be made the afternoon before, thus keeping me from sitting around waiting for the company to show up. I will update this review after the actual work is completed.

They arrived promptly. Were courteous and did a good job. I would recommend them.

Four associates arrived early morning and marked which windows I wanted done. They were thorough and professional. Job was completed in less than 2 hours. They were careful not to track dirt inside.

After some initial difficulties with scheduling, the company and I finally managed to get a date which suited me. The team was professional and arrived promptly. They cleaned about 30 windows in about 2 hours.

When I clean windows, I want them to be clear when the process is complete. That is not how this was done. Instead, the workers went through the process of washing the windows, and the outcome was not important to them. On the day of service, it was cloudy and I couldn't tell that the windows had unwashed places and streaks. A couple says later, I was disappointed when the sun tried to shine through.
