I purchased a coupon to have 20 windows washed, outside or 10 windows, inside and outside. I chose 20 windows, outside. This deal is offered by a nationwide company that subcontracts the work to local companies. My local company in Philadelphia was Ruff's Window Cleaning & Glass Restoration Services. The 3-person crew was polite, friendly, and arrived earlier than our scheduled time. (They actually came 2 hours early, but I wasn't ready so they left and returned later.) We have leaded glass windows in our dining room and they were cleaned inside and out (on their own initiative) and the difference is startling. They did a wonderful job with those delicate panes. The remaining windows were cleaned to our satisfaction. Our only complaint is that they would not put their ladder in an area with bushes, even though we indicated it was OK to tromp in those bushes, so the two highest windows did not get cleaned (and they are in desperate need).

Very well. The installers were punctual, professional, and thorough. Recommended them to a neighbor. I would definitely use them again.

Many years ago I had all my windows replaced with casements. When I scheduled the appointment with AmericasBest home office in California, I asked how casements are counted by them. I was told that each replacement casement window would be counted as one window for each double-hung window replaced. When the workers showed up this morning they said a casement window is counted as two windows. I told them what AmericasBest told me and after a slightly unpleasant conversation, they agreed to count the windows as I was told they would be by AmericasBest's California scheduling office. This evening I called AmericasBest to tell them what happened. They said the workers were correct and what I had been told was wrong.They said a new employee had scheduled my appointment and probably did not know what I was asking about casements. I told them they should be sure their employees are properly trained before they let them answer questions without knowing the correct answer. I feel bad for the workers, who cleaned more windows than they should have because of their home office's mistake. The workers were very pleasant, arrived a few minutes early, worked fast and did a satisfactory job on the windows. Not as good a job as my wife would do, but good enough for the money.

I was very disappointed in the service for a couple of reasons: *It was advertised a the "whole" house would be cleaned. However, I was to learn that it did not include the roof. * At a closer look, I realized that they damaged 4 of my window screens that were in perfect condition but now need to be replaced. I had to pay over $100. to have the windows and screens cleaned only to have to put out money to have the screens repaired. * I took the time to contact the company (not the contractor) but nothing was said or addressed concerning the issue of the damaged screens. Lesson learned: Give attention to the details of the special offers made by the company through Angie's List.

I expected a guy and a bucket but a whole team showed up and got all of our windows cleaned in such a quick amount of time. We also had never had them cleaned before so the outcome was especially exciting!! They were quick and professioanl. When I called they couldn't fit us in for a few months and then they actually called us when they had a cancellation earlier. Much appreciated!

one woman he brought into my house was complaining the whole time to him and did not do a very good job. At the end of the job she also smelled like liquor. I was nervous about her the whole day. the other woman was very nice and did a great job.

The team was nice but I had expected the service to be completed much sooner that it was.

Crew arrived as scheduled, set up the pressure washers and started to work. house is a two story 1850 sf with vinyl siding. the dirt and mold were removed making the house sparkle again. they then had a man go all around the house with a ladder to reach the second floor and cleaned the exteriors of all the windows. Company is national but they use local people. Overall A plus

The crew arrived promptly. They were very professional in their presentation and they got right to work. I observed them for about 1/2 an hour and then had to leave for work. I was displeased with the final product. Some stain was left around the house, especially by the chimney. I would have paid a bit more if I could have gotten better results.

Gregory Ruff and his crew arrived on time, and he thoroughly explained all options in a very professional manner. They did exactly what we agreed upon. Gregory went beyond the call of duty, as I suggested that he skip one window because there was a hornet's nest under the porch roof, very close to the window. He assured me that he had dealt with this situation before and knew how to handle it. He chose to do that window himself, workiing very quietly so as not to stir up the hornets. I definitely recommend this crew for their capable work and pleasant demeanor.

Workers showed up on time and did a wonderful job. The windows are spotless!

The team showed up on time and got right to work. They were able to power wash the front porch and our one-story house, as well as wash all the windows on the outside. We have screens that are not removable, but Angel made sure to move them so that she could clean the entire window. They did miss two windows in the front, but that may have been because they were unable to reach them over the shrubbery. We are very pleased with the service and would use them again.

The guys who came to the house were professional and did a good job. My only issue was they showed up 2 hours early. I specifically asked them to arrive in the afternoon which I was assured would be the case. When I called the office to see what could be done about the issue, I quickly realized that I was calling the west coast and they were not even at work yet. It was 6:00 am west coast time. Needless to say, I had to leave work early to let them into my house. A major inconvenience.

They were excellent and I was very pleased at how organized and neat they were. They did a great job.

first of all, it was hard to get in touch with the company. we left a couple of messages and they never called back. we finally scheduled an appointment that had to be rescheduled because their power washer was broken. This company subcontracts their work out. The company they subcontracted to showed up right on time. That is about the only thing that was good about them. Their work was shoddy at best. There are still many dirty spots on the house, as blatant as bird crap! Window cleaning was extra for storm windows, which is what we have on half of our house, so we didnt have them done. but even the ones that were done, some still have bird poop on them! and they almost left without doing the front door! we had to call them back in to do it. I wouldnt use them again. I probably could have done a better job cleaning the house myself, as i will now have to anyway to get all the spots they missed.

It went really well. It was the first time I had used them. They were nice and helpful. I would use them again.

The gentleman arrived on time. He was couteous and professional. He did an outstanding job. My windows are sparkling.

They arrived before the specified time and started before I got there which I did not like. They moved some stuff away from the house and did nto put it back (did not leave it where they found it). They knocked over out tomato plant with their hose and either did not notice, or did not tell me.
