Description of Work: They came and cleaned our outside windows and they did it beyond well. The windows gleamed after they were down the service. They worked as a team and they were gone before you knew it. They said they would be at our house at a certain time and sure enough they were there when the clock struck. Professional in every sense of the word and they will be invited back in the spring to do the windows inside the house. Well done.

Description of Work: I had purchased a power washing and window cleaning service for $249, which I thought was a good deal. Then when the guy showed up he said the price was for 15 windows only, no storm windows and no cleaning inside. I didn't think it made sense to have my windows cleaned and not the storm windows. When all was said and done, this great deal cost me upwards of $450. The guys who came were fantastic and did a great job but were contractors of the national company that offered the good deal. When I asked the guy what he would have charged me to do the same job not through Angie's List he told the whole job would have cost $350. So much for my "good deal" through Angie's List. I took my complaint to Angies's List and they basically said, "we do the best we can..." Buyer Beware of Angie's List's GOOD DEALS.

Description of Work: FYI. Your questionnaire is not clear. I wasn't sure if I was answering the question with the highest praise, or the lowest praise. Most forms go from low to high, but I have seen other forms that go high to low. It was my intention that the letter "A" rating was the highest and the rest in descending order.

Description of Work: I spent about $45 more then the estimate - I got the patio door done and I had 3 more windows then offer. and I got the window wells cleaned so that was fair. The serviceman was 1 hr. early! The trip was shorter then anticipated and, well, it was Saturday morning and I wasn't ready! I expected him to ask if I wanted extra things done and he did. I felt the extras were high. To do a special treatment to the front windows to get out the imbedded dirt (which consisted of wetting the windows, ribbing w/ steel wool and squeegy them was an extra $10/window - it took ~ 1 minute to do and would be $70! That was a bit muuch and I stopped him there because I was satisfied w/ just clean windows and wells.

Description of Work: The person who did the job was polite, punctual and I am satisfied with his work of power washing the ground stone. Window cleaning was average. For the sake of improvement, the person answered my phone for scheduling was strange. I could hear women chatting and child speaking in the background. This made me a bit nervous not knowing I was talking to a trained professional individual or a wife using her home phone at home for her husband's job.

Description of Work: I purchased $99 window cleaning coupon. A subcontractor, Gregory Ruff, arrived early for appointment on 7/31/12. The crew was professionally dressed. Reviewed service. I asked what the additional charge would be to clean front door with surrounding windows. Mr Ruff stated it is "not much," $10. I asked that he also clean surrounding moldings. The three person crew cleaned my three story townhouse in no time. Mr Ruff also pointed out some hidden wasp nests which I appreciated. When leaving he quoted a price of $403. I was in shock. He stated once the powerwasher is requested it is an automatic charge of $249. I guess the balance is tax and labor. I stated I did not request power washing, I agreed there would be the additional charge but felt the difference between 10 and 403 dollars was unreasonable and unfair. He also did not give any indication there would be such an increase in price. He apologized for not reviewing the charge before service was started and after a discussion agreed on an additional $150. To add to my disappointment I found that one window (bathroom) was completely missed.

Description of Work: Window cleaning. Nice guys, and fair job of cleaning; but one storm window was broken. Accidents happen, but the window has not yet been replaced as promised. Some things that were moved were not put back in place. Also, deal was to have cost $99 for twenty windows, but as it turns out, the definition of "window" means one surface, not two and no storms. Wish they'd made that clearer. One guy used the bathroom--that's fine. When you've gotta go, you've gotta go. But he left the toilet a mess. I'm sure he didn't mean to, but it was what it was. Don't blame the guys too much, as they cleaned the windows pretty well. I mostly hold the company responsible for lack of communication and the fact the deal was not a deal.
