Description of Work: Replaced retaining wall on either side of driveway, removed approx 20 bushes, re-graded hillside, widened driveway by 1 ft, reset pole lamp. When Rick came to do the estimate he made good suggestions on design. Bill and crew were professional, personable, did a beautiful job, cleaned everything up, finished in the time frame quoted. Price was reasonable. I will use them again and recommend them highly.

Description of Work: They tore down existing driveway wall cement block, which was bowing badly, replaced it with Versa Loc. Also I have crushed brick above the driveway wall which had to be emptied and then replaced. Also we had a railroad tie wall by the bottom entrance to our home, which they dug back and replaced. They cleaned ALL of the mess up and it is now beautiful!

Description of Work: They built a retaining wall in the back yard . They suggested building a curved wall intead of straight and 90 degree turns. They built steps leading to a man-door in the garage and steps up into a terraced garden. They did superior work, meticulous (checked how level the stone blocks were and they were exact), professional. They were apleasure to deal with.

Description of Work: Over a couple of years, they built three retaining walls for us and dug out a hillside to install an extra driveway. The price was at least competitive, if not lower than other bids. The owner of the company is honest and knowledgeable, and his crew was professional from their on-time start to the last bit of cleanup, which was extremely thorough.

Description of Work: removed/replaced retaining wall along driveway 2 parts divided by short flight of concrete steps. Wall height tapered from 4 ft to 24 inches, with return on upper side of steps. Project was completed in one day. | |Efficient professional crew, left work area clean, though they did dispose of fairly large waste fragments of Versa-Lock in the bottom of the drainage area behind wall before adding the gravel. In addition to the designed-in setback created by the VersaLock, they also laid the gravel footer for the wall with a slight inward tilt to give the wall additional lean into the slope. None of the other contractors volunteered to do this. Wall King has done other walls in neighborhood recently and they show no signs of movement, but they are relatively new projects. Hard to do an evaluation of a retaining wall project until at the wall is at least 10 years old!!

Description of Work: We had an existing retaining wall that was installed 6 years ago, unfortunately on my neighbors property. My neighbor asked that the wall be removed or moved to the property line. Bill Fenk of Wall King, Inc. came gave us an estimate and did everything that he promised he would do, plus additional work that went beyond the scope of the proposal. The finished wall was actually beyond our expectations and also met our neighbor's approval. I found Bill and his employees to be very professional. The job took one day and was done in a neat and orderly fashion. Wall King pricing was very competitive and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Received initial bid from Bill to rebuild a retaining wall. Discussed the scope of the work and a price of $2500.00. As they were working in the area they were able to get to the job the next day. Job was done well. After reviewing the job Bill said the job was not as difficult as he anticipated and he reduced the charge to $1900.00. Never had that happen before!

Description of Work: Bill gave me an estimate for a retaining wall approximately 45 feet long and said he could do it the next day and be done the same day. He was right on, came at 7:30am sharp with his crew and pounced on the job like lions. They were all very nice guys and professional. The job was done by 5:00 complete and cleaned up with planting grass seed. I was more than impressed and would recommend them anytime. Thanks Bill and guys.
