Description of Work: I got Air Pro as a referral from American Home Shield and they paid for the furnace. Air Pro gave me the options of only 2 furnaces to pick from. According to AHS, they have to replace it with a comparable item. One of them was less than what I had, so I really only had 1 choice. No other choices were offered, even when I asked for it. My only choice was more expensive and I couldn't get clearification on why. Since I went without a furnace for 5 days, I didn't have time to play around. I had to pay for the installation of the furnace, the parts for the furnace and the humidifier, and an upgrade to bring the gas lines up to code. They installed a furnace, humidifier and a digital programmable thermostat. I got a ten year warranty on parts, labor, a lifetime warranty on the furnace and a free check and clean on my air conditioner. So far, so good. The installers were punctual, professional, knowledgeable, explained what they had to do and answered all my questions, while they were working. They stated the job would take 5 hours, and they got it done in 4 and a 1/2 hours. All in all a good experience.

Description of Work: We called in November for a routine system check for the winter. We have a child with allergies so our humidifier is important to our family. We were given a date 4 weeks later which was cancelled the day before it was scheduled. They expected us to wait another couple of weeks to reschedule. When I argued that, they abruptly rescheduled for the next week and hung up on me. The service was performed but the house humidifier did not work. They blamed it on the warm weather and would not come to check it. When my husband called to question, they again were abrupt and hung up on him. He called the owner who sent someone out to check and indeed a part was faulty and needed replaced. It needed to be ordered so again we were put on hold. We were never contacted about the part arriving. We had to call the company to find out it was in and the schedule installation - this took several days again. The technicians who came to the house were polite and efficient but the customer service is abominable. We stayed the course only because we were trying not to start at square one with scheduling due to our child's allergy needs. It took us 3 months to get our furnace/ humidifier in working order for the winter.

+ -1 moreThe problem was A/C system leaking freon. Salesman came to estimate replacement cost of an older high velocity A/C system. Quoted ridiculously high price of $12,000.00, saying that everything needs replacement, including the air ducts. My regular A/C service company recommended to replace only the outside unit for $2,200.00. I chose this option and I'm very happy with the result.

+ -1 moreAir Pro had been in previously to find out why the AC wasn't working (they made a simple adjustment instead of a major repair) and at that time noticed the crack in the Heat exchanger. I confirmed that this was a death-notice for a furnace and called them for an estimate. They were prompt, gave me a range of options, and suggested I'd only need a low-priced model, which came with their usual 10-yr warranty. We set up a date a week hence, and they arrived on time, got to work, and finished in 2+ hours.
Description of Work: The furnace in my rental unit was 25 yrs old, and had a cracked heat exchange unit. Air Pro replaced the furnace, without having to replace the coil or condenser units (which would have run the price up).

Tech then arrived about 3 hrs from the time of original call. Tech was courteous, speedy, and knowledgeable.
