Air Pro Heating & Cooling

This is just another one of those typical contractors that everyone hates. After coming out to give me an estimate, they never called back with the estimate. Don't waste your time calling this company, they wasted mine.

We got multiple quotes, but Rocco with Air Pro was the most informative and professional. He came prepared to discuss the specifics of the house. Air Pro also had the best price for the best system. It was less than a week from the time Rocco ordered the new units until they were installed. Three employees showed up on time on the morning of June 6 and proceeded to remove original systems. Two of them started working on removing and installing the AC until the other one began to disassemble the furnace. They drilled new holes in the side of the house for vents. When the AC was completed the other two began to help with the furnace. When all systems were installed they installed a new thermostat and checked to make sure all the new systems were functioning properly. They then cleaned up the basement. The only minor complaint was they didn't do a thorough job of cleaning up after themselves.

Warranty company sent them, Initially came and looked at two systems said it will take some time to get parts and do the repairs. They fixed one after I called and asked them when they are coming over, this was after 3 weeks and said the other one takes about 5 -6 weeks to get parts. No communication after that, called them after scheduled a date to come and fix it. The day of the appointment they call and say got a wrong part and have to wait for another 4 to 5 weeks... do not hear anything after that, until I call the warranty company and requested someone else to do the job. Would not use them again for how unresponsive they are.

All A's across the board. They are excellent. I absolutely will continue using them. Air Pro is wonderful.

I would highly recommend Air Pro. They were very responsive: quick to return our initial phone call & schedule an appointment for the estimate (which was given during the appointment), when we decided to hire them our appointment for installation was made for less than 2 weeks later, any questions were answered in a very timely fashion. Air Pro's quote came in somewhere in the middle of the 4 estimates we received, but their quote included additional services (electrical work) that we would have had to contract out separately. Air Pro worked with our schedule and completed the job in a very reasonable time frame. The installers were friendly and polite, and gave us a full "tour" of the new system explaining how it operates and were patient with our questions. Overall great experience!

They are pretty good. They come when they say they are going to come, they are clean, they clean up after themselves, they are very professional, and I recommend their quality. They are a quality company.

Rocco and his workers were friendly and professional. Our furnace broke in the middle of the winter, and Rocco performed some kind of magic to get us a new one the next day--instead of the next week. Not to mention how he brought in our trash cans when he came to do the estimate, just because he saw them sitting there and wanted to be helpful. He also hooked us up with a rebate offer from Equitable gas, bringing the actual total cost to $3000. A lovely experience from beginning to end.

From beginning to end, Air Pro's people were professional, prompt and efficient. Their estimator returned our call quickly, and when he came, he discovered an easy fix for an electrical issue which 2 people from other companies completely missed! (And which saved us a significant amount of money!) The installers called the morning of the install to say they were on their way - a small courtesy that was very much appreciated. They arrived exactly on time, were neat, polite, cleaned up perfectly and finished up in one day. We were extremely happy with the whole experience, and would highly recommend this company.

From the orignal quote through the final installation, the process was excellent witht he guys at Air Pro. I have been a little slacking in my report submitting as I had this service done over a year ago but that has given me time to see that they installed a quality product. They had by far the best price that I found. The A/C is great. This summer was one of the hotter summers we had with the amount of 90 degree days and my house was always a very cool 70 degrees. The two stage furnace has been great in winters too. I am able to keep my house colder int he summer and warmer in the winter while still paying less than my old A/c and furnace. I would defintely use Air Pro for any HVAC issues I would have in the future.

He had the part, so he was able to take care of it on the spot. It was under home warranty. I do not want to be completely critical about their responsiveness. It was the peak time and it was pretty hot for probably a week. We would have had to wait longer, but because there was a disabled person in the house, they put us on a priority list. They were professional.

I emailed Air Pro while i was researching local companies. I gathered quotes from about 5 of the major local vendors, all of the top rated companies here on Angies List. Sean from Air Pro was always the fastest in responding to my emails, was able to schedule a visit at my house within a couple of days. Sean looked around and took a detailed inspection of my house, explaining everything as he was walking around. He gave me 2 options, both a mid range and a higher end unit, and assured me that the price listed on the sheet would not go up. after i finished researching and discussing with several other local HVAC companies, it was clear that Air Pro was going to be the cheapest for the size units they had recommended. One of the other HVAC guys had even asked me if i'd talked to anyone else, and when i told them i'd gotten a quote from Air Pro, he said "well, they'll be the cheapest, we're always trying to compete with their prices but never can". one big thing about Air Pro that beat out a lot of other companies was that they offer the 10yr parts and labor warranty on all of the products they offered to me, when some others offered only 5 years or only a parts (no labor) warranty. I emailed Sean at Air Pro one more time, and he was able to schedule an installation for me within 2 weeks. Scheduling an A/C installation in the middle of July I figured would take a while, but this wasn't too bad. He said the installation would take just one day. I decided to go with the higher end Lennox unit. The Installation date came and promptly at 9am the guys showed up. 3 installers came and i gave them the grand tour of where they'll put the condenser unit outside, as well as the old furnace inside. they verified with me one more time the location of where the intake and exhaust tubes would go, and checked that this was acceptable. it was a very hot day outside and the guys worked diligently. Although the installation went smooth for the most part, we did run into a couple of speedbumps. The installers noticed that my existing thermostat was only a 2 wire instead of a 5 wire which is necessary for the dual furnace and A/C unit, so it had to be replaced. they could not find the wires as apparently they went into the wall, so i was left with a big hole in the wall where the old thermostat was. they decided to run a new set of wires, and chose a place on a different wall. they put a hole in the wall in the new location and tried to run the wires, but couldn't get the wire down past something in the wall. so they put some Spackle in the new hole to fill it, and went to yet another location on a different wall to try again. this time they were able to get the wires down, but now i am left with 2 other holes in my walls. they did attempt to Spackle over them, but of course that stuff takes a while to dry, so i will have to sand and repaint those holes myself. the other complaint i have is that when they put the big condenser unit outside, they had to remove a large section of a wooden fence, and bend back part of a metal fence to get to it. i'm sure they were planning on putting this back when they finished, but just as they were finishing up the job around 4pm, a massive thunderstorm came through and they had to run the last of their parts and things back up to the truck in the pouring rain. I would imagine that they got caught up trying to get out of the rain and forgot to put the fences back the way they were when they started, so it isn't a major complaint, but still an issue. Other than that, the install was very smooth, before they left they gave us some simple tutorials on using the new thermostat, and the final price was exactly what was quoted to me on day one. any time one of the guys came up from the basement to do something in the house, i saw them remove their shoes so they didn't track any dirt around. The guys were all very friendly and courteous. They tested both the heat and the a/c before they left. After a week of 90F+ and super high humidity, i'm happy to report that the unit is working fine, and we have a very comfortable and cool house. I would and already have recommended Air Pro to others.

Called the company to have a repair person come out. The lady I spoke to was very polite and professional, told me to expect a call Monday morning with a time. The service contractor called exactly when they said he would, with a time frame of 2:00-5:00 p.m. He then called me back a little while later to let me know it would be towards the end of that window rather than the beginning. I never felt like I was sitting around waiting for the repair guy to show up. From start to finish he was efficient and professional He diagnosed the problem as a busted condenser motor.. He said he had a part on the truck that he was pretty sure it work, and one that he knew for certain would work back at there warehouse. He then said he would install the pretty sure motor, and if it didn't work he wouldn't charge me for any of his time or labor. The pretty sure motor was cheaper than the for certain motor, so even though he could have made more money with the other motor, his priority was getting my AC fixed as soon as possible. I thought this was outstanding. Pricing was very reasonable. I expected to have to pay around $600 for the repair, and was pleasantly surprised when it came in at around 2/3rds that, and that included replacing my air filter. This company will definitely be my go to company for heating and AC repair from now on.

They do a thorough inspection of the air-conditioning and heating unit. They give us recommendations for any fixes. They are pretty knowledgeable although we have a older unit. They actually brought a wrong filter and they had to come a couple of times to fix that.

When my furnace stopped working, I called Air Pro because I had previously used their services to install new duct work in my basement and was very happy with their work. They performed a diagnostic for $99 and determined that my furnace was "dead." They shut it down and condemned it. I then had to set up an appointment with Sean, the sales manager, who discussed with me the various options for a new furnace. I signed a contract on 11/26 and on 11/30, two technicians came to remove old furnace and install new one. The job took 5 hours, exactly as stated, and the techs, especially the lead man (I apologize for not remembering their names offhand), were excellent, working quickly and efficiently, as well as answering all my questions and explaining various functions and maintenance of the new furnace. Two things about the pricing, however: Had I not purchased a new furnace from Air Pro, the $99 diagnostic charge would be fair and justified, but I think that the diagnostic charge ultimately should have been credited against the final price. Also, the stated price on their coupon of $2295 became $2495 because a new chimney sleeve had to be installed as part of the process. However, overall, I have been very pleased with Air Pro the twice I have used them and my new furnace is very efficient.

It was a hard job because it is an older house. The owner, Rocco, worked with us the whole way and made it happen on time. I would use his Company again without hesitation.

They did everything they were supposed to do to evaluate my AC unit. Since ductwork is not covered by my home warranty insurance company, there was nothing for them to do. I paid $60 for the service fee required by the insurance to find out the problem was in the ductwork.

We were hooked-up with Air Pro through our home warranty contract and they were just wonderful. They replaced our heat pump that was original to the addition from the early 1950"s and no longer had parts available. Rocco came out to measure and see the area covered by the heat pump. He seemed especially excited to point-out how nice the new ones are compared to ours...(like the remote control!) The main issue with the old one was in the motor of the outside half and at first Rocco was not too sure the warranty company would cover the interior unit, too. He assured us that he would do his best to get the most comprehensive coverage he could. Well, after his communication with them they covered BOTH parts... that could have been potentially Thousands out of pocket! We were still responsible for disposal, concrete pad, etc.expenses (thus the $485.00) but we feel this was more than reasonable! On installation day, Ed came with his crew and thoroughly checked-out the installation area as it was in a room that is 3 walls of all windows and this, unlike the old heat pump needed to be installed up high. They were able to work around any issues from the architecture of the room. He and his whole crew were very professional and polite. They took their time in the installation and then testing the cooling and heating properties for proper performance. They recognized any possible problem areas with the modified installation and paid particular attention to those when running the tests. Before they left, everything was cleaned-up and both Ed and another gentleman on the crew had reviewed the usage and features on the remote control. We bought our 1937 home 18 months ago and have needed numerous repair and service companies since then. Comparatively, this was a very nice experience and I couldn't recommend them more enthusiastically!

My experience was terrible. He was in a big hurry because he had a lot of people to see. He rushed through this and it was as if he didn?t have time for me. I haven't heard from them since.

I scheduled an appointment for a check up our furnace and air conditioning. At 8:00 pm the night before our appointment the company called and left a message that they would not be coming without explaining why. They did not call to re-schedule. When I called to re-schedule their next available appointment was a month later. They must be good if they are so busy.

It went really well. We use this company to have our AC and heating checked every year. They are reasonable in price, professional, friendly and very knowledgable! Thye give us a courtesy call each season, and they come out and take care of everything. THis is a great company, we love these guys!

I feel that this company is reliable. They will work with you on any problem that you have until it is resolved to your satisfaction. I feel that the prices are reasonable.

It went very well. Erik was on time, called before he arrived, and arrived with all the tools needed to complete the job. It has always gone very well when Erik is scheduled in my area.
