Our garage gear kit was broken. The garage was trying to run but couldn't. They immediately caught the problem on the phone and explained to me all the options including replacing the entire box instead of just changing the gear kit, or just replace the the kit. I went with just the gear kit for $148 but then it broke after two weeks which they said it will because of the age of the entire garage door opening unit. then it costs $256 and then they credited the previous service and labor cost and then professionally serviced on time and on budget. I will consult them again in the future

They came out on time, they were very polite. They couldn't put the stripping on the door. It is a one piece garage door. They told me that they couldn't guarantee any stripping, so they couldn't do the job. I am now getting a refund through Angie's List.

My garage door would not open. The man who answered the phone talked me through what to look for so that he could diagnose the problem and send a serviceman as soon as possible. Service was scheduled for the next morning; the polite crew showed up on time and repaired my opener. The customer service and responsiveness was fantastic.

He came fix some problems. Cost me more, he replaced panels. Door wasn't closing properly.

The technician did an excellent job. He arrived early, we discussed what the issues were (the door had been repositioned in the garage and didn't seal properly), and he got the job done quickly and efficiently. He cleaned up, taking away all excess material with him. He also explained how we could inexpensively solve a related problem.s

Their prices are reasonable. They were there when they said they were going to be there and they took care of the job zip zap. They were efficient, they were punctual and they were good. I would use them again. This is the second time I've used them in 10 years.

It was okay. They did something to the locking mechanism and it isn’t working now and it was fine before. They were nice and on time. The scheduling was good. They got the job done in about half an hour.

It worked out really well. It was a nice deal. The service was excellent. They were very responsive and they did an excellent job so I was happy with it. My interaction with them was limited but effective. I did not spend more than the big deal price and they did the service maybe a week or so after I purchased the deal.

I had a problem with the door that was going up and down, they did that as part of the service and that was taken cared of. They changed the rollers as well.

They came out to give me an estimate the same day I called. Greg was very professional and helpful. I ordered that same day, having already read the good reviews Emergency Door had received on Angie's List. The next day he called and scheduled the date to install my new products. The repairman arrived on time and was very nice. He installed the door in about 3 hrs or so and explained how to use the garage door opener. I am very satisfied with the service I received and would recommend them. Thanks for a job well done!

The whole experience was great from the quote to follow-up visits. For each visit they were on time and professional. After the original install there were a few issues due to structural problems with my detached garage. They scheduled follow-up visits and fixed every issue was resolved and they reviewed each concern with me. I would use them in the future.

We had purchased the deal with the anticipation of buying an entire new door. Do to an accident the bottom 2 panels needed to be replaced. I had gone to Home Depot and priced the panels and the cost was so high it made sense to replace the whole door, but it didn't include installation. I saw the "Big Deal" and the price was equal but included installation. Paul contacted us the next day and came out to look at the door. He showed us the door that the "deal" was and it was a lower grade than what we had. So I asked what it would be to replace the 2 bottom panels. He said he might be able to do it at the deal price but would need to check at his office and give us a call. He called the next day and said he could do it at the deal price. I couldn't believe it. He was $300 less than what Home Depot was and he was going to install it! He called when the door came in and set a time to get it installed. THANK YOU! YOU ARE THE BEST! Do yourself a favor, skip the home improvement store and hire Paul from Emergency Door Service. Again, THANK YOU!

They were on time and completed the installation quickly without any issues. They were polite and courteous; showed me how to program the keypad and made sure it all worked.

I purchased an Angie's List Big Deal for this service and it turned out excellent. They were just great. After I had bought the deal a spring broke so I had to pay additional for a new spring. They kept the labor rate the same as the Big Deal so all I paid extra for was the part. It was extremely reasonable. The gentleman who came listened to me and was really respectful. He explained everything and it was a good experience.

One spring had broken on garage door and they replaced both springs as they were 16 years old.

Called Emergency Door Services for a quote on a new garage door. They sent a representative the next day. Representative was professional and informative. He gave me multiple door options along with their costs and benefits. Sears representative came 2 days earlier and only gave me 1 door option. Emergency's quote was over $300 less than Sears and $150 less than Home Depot for a better quality door. Door was delivered and installed in under 3 weeks. They were very flexible in their scheduling of installation and could have installed sooner if I had been available. Price was exactly as quoted. Door looks and works great; couldn't be happier with their services. Would highly recommend.
