He knew his business, came back as promised in a few days and completed the work without incident. He even obligingly programmed my car garage opening button for the new system and took the time to fully explain the new operation to both me and my husband. He was terrific and we will keep this service provider's contact information in our files for sure!

I was miss informed by the coupon.The coupon stated that a 36 point inspection was to be performed and that 4 rollers would be replaced. At first the technician only sprayed wd40 on the tracks and only did a glance at the door.It was with us stating that the coupon was for a 36 inspection and 4 roller replacement. I want to confirm that the technician was very polite! I feel that 99$ for this service which originally was going to be over 300$ without coupon is not worth it.Especially if we were not home to watch what he was doing because it would of been 99$ for just spraying wd40 :(

The old garage door had not been used in a long time and was in poor condition. Preliminary work was done by a family member to ensure that the new garage door could be installed without too much trouble before worker came out.. Everything turned out well..

Paul did a fantastic job! The house is approx. 60 years old and I think the door is original. It's a heavy 16-foot wood panel door; still in good shape, well balanced and looks good. I am in the process of stripping it down to the wood for stain/poly and replacing the glass. I accidently took out one of the door sensors with the pressure washer. I had already purchased a new set of eyes; Paul replaced both in addition to everything else. He also identified some long time installation problems with the door guide and opener. It took some trial and error time, but he identified the problems, made the adjustments and it now closes better than its ever closed in the 7 years we have been in the house. Many thanks to you Paul; you went far above and beyond my expectations. I'm confident you gave me many more years of service with this door.

It went absolutely awesome. He did excellent and cleaned up after himself. This was a very good experience with the company. The guy had a few hiccups installing but got the job done.

Greg came to give an estimate, he was very informative, provided me with all the options, he didn't pressure me to purchase anything, he seemed very knowledgeable about his trade. I didn't shop price any further based on excellent reviews on Angie's list so I can't comment on comparative pricing. His workers showed up on time, did a very nice job, very professional, cleaned up and took away the old doors and mechanism. The doors look and work beautifully, sorry I hadn't done this years ago, but it was more of a luxury than a necessity since the old doors worked fine.

We placed the order on July 20, 2014. It is now 4:25 on July 25, and we never heard from the company. We received no message through Angie's List or with a phone call. As a result, I am uncomfortable relying on this company to perform excellent service. I want to cancel the order.

Gregg from Emergency Door Service was very knowledgeable and helpful. My house was built in the 1940's and the duct work and beams are by ceiling in garage. The garage door I wanted couldn't accommodate the lower part of ceiling. The door would have been too thick for the R-value 20.4 insulation, I would not have been able to get the base material and overlay I wanted etc. Gregg did work on a solution but I didn't want to make that change to the opening of the garage but I was very impressed with this company.

I called Emergency Garage doors and immediately received a call back to schedule an appointment. The tech (Paul I think) came out and I explained that the doors are old wooden ones and were likely original to my home built in the 70's. My one door did not open at all while the other door opened but not very well. I asked for an onsite estimate to fix everything to get them both in working order as I am not in a position to replace them at this time. The technician was really spot on with the estimate he gave prior to any work being done. He was fast, took the time to explain why he was doing what he was doing, and was just super professional. I couldn't be more happy with the service and quality of work performed. I would definitely hire them again! Excellent job!

My appointment was for early in the morning, and the technician was at my home by 8:30 a.m. Work was done quickly, and any questions I had were answered. This is the second year that I purchased this deal. I've also used Emergency Door Service for another minor repair last year.

We missed the first appointment because we forgot when the service man was scheduled to come. They called and re-scheduled with us for the following week. That next week, the work was done without any issue. The service man was punctual, very friendly, and knowledgeable. I've had no issues with the installation.

They did a great job, however because of the driveway being uneven it is not a perfect seal through no fault of their own.

Representatives were very efficient and friendly. Answered all questions and explained repairs thoroughly.
