The whole project was completely satisfactory. Response was prompt. Installation was quick. Workmanship was neat and clean. Installer was polite and courteous. Price for the whole job was fair and reasonable. Theis was a good value.

I was tempted to do this job myself. However the offer from Emergency Door Services was reasonable. I bought the offer and was punctually contacted by Gregg for the purpose of scheduling. The representative showed up on time. I left him alone to do his work. He was polite, courteous, and expedient. In settling up, I had expected to pay no more than the agreed upon, quoted price of $99.00. He charged me an extra $49.00 to install a weather strip across the BOTTOM of the garage door, which I didn't ask for. I was polite in telling him that. in the future ... ... he needs to consult with the customer BEFORE making the assumption that he could do the work without the customer's authorization. I wrote an additional check for $49.00 to pay for the extra service, and then forgot about it. Approximately 5 - 10 minutes after he left, my garage door went up ... ...BY ITSELF. I called Gregg (owner / supervisor [?]), and he couldn't have been more accommodating. The technician showed up approximately ten minutes later, returned my check with an apology, and proceeded to address the problem. It took him about 15 minutes to fix the problem, and he gave me some basic information about how to adjust a knob on the garage door opener that regulates the sensitivity of how the door opens and closes, if the problem should happen again. I'm hesitant to write this review. However, the garage door opener now malfunctions once per week on overage. I get out of the car, climb a ladder, adjust the knob, and everything is fine, until the next time. However, I'm giving serious consideration to contacting "EZ Home Exteriors & Garage Doors," or "Jelly's Garage Doors," to fix this ongoing problem, which is unfortunate, because Emergency Door Services has just 376 positive reviews on Angie's List. UPDATE: Six weeks after installing weather stripping across the bottom of the garage door (which i didn't ask for), the insulation is now worse than before, with noticeable gaps. The garage door continues to malfunction.

I was able to get someone to come out the same day which was great! The guy came out when during the time promised. He was polite & very quick. He resolved my issue in about 15 minutes! Reasonable price for a house call. I would definitely call them again if I needed.

It went ok. They came out and did what they said. The door was making a creaking sound and they oiled it but the creaking continued. I previously had this done by a different company and the sound stopped for a while.

It went very well! I called for an estimate and they came out the next day. The rep was on time, explained everything, and gave us a good price. We agreed to the work, and they called back with a date about a week away. On the service date they came on time and completed all of the work. Doors look so much better. We could not be more pleased.

Very well. He was nice. He said a difficult time because we did not have aluminum garage doors and thought our garage doors should be replaced, but we were not interested.

Had to have two garage door openers put in. My wife's broke this morning and, while getting hers done, I had my broken one replaced. They were able to schedule me for today and came out within the quoted window, did excellent work, and charged exactly as quoted over the phone. VERY happy with the friendliness and professionalism of Paul, the technician, as well.

Arrived early, got right to work, and finished everything up, leaving the door to operate correctly again.

They were actually great. They remove and old nonfunctional door and installed a new one. They also installed the garage door opener. I would say that Greg was wonderful and flexible in terms of scheduling. He sort of guided me in the process of purchasing and upgraded version. I felt he was very helpful and when I was trying get a door to match a glass I had a front door. I had to work a lot and my mom was here during the instillation and she had a certain time constraint and he was great working with the time constraints.

Paul the serviceman arrived within the window that the company said he would. He was professional, knowledgeable, pleasant and friendly and did a great job.

Very happy with the gentleman that came. Although not sure it was worth the money for the amount of work that was done with the lubrication. However, his recommendations he made were very helpful and I ended up using him for additional work.

Paul can to the house a few minutes later than I expected. (This is my only complaint.) He immediately asked what the situation was and quickly diagnosed a couple potential problems and fixes. He knew the costs off the top of his head and had additional recommendations (a new garage door opener). Given the price and timing I opted to have Paul fix our old garage door opener. He's initial assumption was correct. Additionally, he performed some "tune-up" work at no cost. His quoted price for service and parts was what he told me at the outset. As a result, the garage door has never run smoother, quieter and the work came in under the budget I had in my head. I was very pleased with the service.

Fast, courteous, and knowledgable. If you have an Allegheny Door System, you really have to call them.

Gregg came out and looked over our garage door and quoted a price that included the Angie's List discount. The installer showed up on time, very professional and friendly, and it took him less than 3 hours to remove our old door and opener, and install new rails, door, opener and accessories. We're very pleased with our purchase and the professionalism of Emergency Door Services.
