Emergency Door Services responded to my late-night request almost immediately and scheduled my appointment early the next morning. Woody arrived slightly after the scheduled time, but identified the issue immediately and replaced the broken gear kit in my garage door opener in about 30 minutes. He was extremely professional and explained the different parts and steps that went into the repair. I would definitely call again for future garage door service needs!

Things went very well. Contractor showed up close to appointed time, worked with me to define scope of work and got right on the job. A couple days later I noticed that I was having problems with the door not coming down automatically like it should. It would come partway down and then reverse itself. A few times I had to get out and use the keypad to get it all the way down. I called to see if anything related to the work might have caused this. No one argued with me or got upset, they sent the same guy back out within a couple days. He checked everything over and lubed some more at no additional charge. He could not identify an actual cause but since then I have not seen the problem again so we are happy. Great job and fantastic customer service. I would definitely use them again and I would recommend them to a friend.

Emergency Door Corporation technician arrived on 02/14/2017 at 9:00 a.m and was done by 10:00 a.m. completed the work and cleaned up with no problems and we are completely satisfied!

Technician showed up on time, replaced the outdated and worn weather stripping (took some effort to get the old one removed). Lubricated the rollers. Can no longer see light around the door. Good work!

Excellent. Time from purchasing service to scheduling appointment was FAST. Appointment date was less than a week after scheduled, FAST. Ray was a few minutes early, explained work clearly, was very professional, very friendly, and performed work FAST. Quality work done FAST. I'me very happy with everything about this company and service and would highly recommend if your garage door seals are letting cold air in.

When we had a spring break on Saturday morning, I called and had to leave a message and said that we could not get out of the garage and would appreciate a call back right away, as their message said that they would return the call promptly. They did not call back right away so I hired someone else. Emergency Door Services did not call back until the following Tuesday at 9:02 am. By then, another company had already replaced the springs and done other garage door related work for us. I have used these folks before and they were ok so depending on what I need, I might call them again. I am annoyed that a company called Emergency Door Services would leave a prior customer hanging for three days knowing that we could not get our car out of the garage. I am giving them a generous C only because they did finally call back.

Excellent. Came immediately to check problem. Set appt and called 2 days earlier to let me know he was short staff due to a death in family and would be late. Did I want to reschedule? Came as promised, friendly, helpful, didn't try to sell me what I didn't need. $229. Definitely would recommend!!

It turned out fine but we needed to replace the whole garage door. What we were doing for $80 turned in to this monumental job of $1300. It wasn't the guy's fault. Our door had a problem and we wanted to tune it up because it had a problem. He said no, that wouldn't work. I am satisfied with the company, it was fine. The guy was fine, the guy who put the door in was knowledgeable and helpful. The garage door works fine, I have no problem with it. I have no basis to compare the price to. I didn't price other garage doors. He was here and we just had him do it because the door needed fixing. For quality, the doors look great. If I ever needed a new garage door, I would use them again.

It was a special for $699 for a garage door. It was a big deal. It was around $1000. They had to put the automatic door opener in the basement. That's where the extra money came in. It was great, I was really pleased and continue to be pleased. When the door stops I would not be pleased, but right now it's fine. I did go through two of them and I wanted it done. So, it was okay, I think it was competitive. I just liked that they were efficient. He came in, did the work and he left. He just did the job. I have other things to do during the day, I don't want him to take eight hours when he could do it in three. I'm not paying by the hour, I'm paying by the items, what I'm doing, however I don't want him hanging around my house when he doesn't have to.

They were quick to respond to my email and set up an appointment the same week. Came out and completed the work timely, explained what was done, and answered all of my questions. I needed an additional weather strip which is only sold by the company who made the door so, they called and ordered the part and will be back to install it at my request. Excellent experience. This is the 3rd time I have used their services and have always been satisfied.

Despite our having an older style spring system which works fine, EDS was able and willing to get the necessary springs to fit our system even the same day after discovering they didn't have the correct parts initially. Besides the springs (both sides new), we were very pleased with the installer's workmanship improving upon what we had initially replacing wood with metal for a much safer and durable system.

That was fine. There were no problems. Quality was very good.

We were amazed how smooth everything went. First, a contractor ACTUALLY showed up when they said they would. They spent time explaining our options and making recommendations. We never felt rushed or that they had somewhere else to be. We made our selection and were notified of when the door (special order) would be installed. The day of the install, the young man was very prompt, polite and greeted us with a smile. He worked so fast! Made it look easy. He took the time to explain all the new features and helped program everything. A total professional. Again, never felt like a rush job and that there was someplace better to be. The end product looks great and works even better! So quiet and smooth. Insulated, back up battery, keypad entry. My garage hit the lottery! Highly recommend!
