Terminix - Newtown -Termite & Pest Control

Description of Work: An Exclusion. Sealed house against rodents. Also, quarterly pest control service. Very happy with company.

Description of Work: We use Terminix for quarterly pesticide maintenance and they also handled a black ant issue during this visit. Ants are gone! We have been using Terminix (Aaron Pigeon is our technician) for years and are very happy with the service.

Description of Work: I am pleased with the monthly service that I receive from the assigned technician. He is efficient and professional. However, when I call the main office for assistance with a change in schedule, the customer service representatives are not always professional or helpful. The last two times that I have called, I have spoken to some rude female representatives. Also, there is no opportunity to respond with "Maybe" when it comes to using the provider in the future.

Description of Work: I had the initial termite protection plan done many years ago, perhaps in 1994. In the following years, the protection plan stays in force with a yearly inspection and payment that is,as of this date, $318.00 for a yearly renewal. I have been unhappy with their inspection services which should occur on a yearly basis, but their service man does not show up at scheduled times and/or states that he was here and did the inspection of my home when, in fact, he has not. Due to my work schedule, I have no choice but to agree to an outside inspection only. On the latest "inspection", the service man came on 4/24/14 when I was not at home and placed 6 "termometers" around the exterior of my home to monitor for termite activity. I had to call and ask what this meant. If it were not for the fact that I spent a good deal of money to begin this process, I continue to pay $318.00/year to keep my "Ultimate Protection Guarantee". I can only hope that this will take care of any future problems. I deal with the Terminix office in Plymouth Meeting, PA. 19462

Description of Work: Sprayed outside for bugs. Went okay. But they are a bit pricey.

Description of Work: They do a good job of getting rid of your termites the first time but once you go on a yearly contract they are not so easy to deal with. If you call after spotting the bugs you need to prove that any damage you incur is new damage. They want to see live termites. Problem is that by the time they finally get to your house the termites are gone. It's a bit of a hassle to get restitution for damages. Also they robo call and set appts for yearly inspections and never show up

Description of Work: This is the one monthly service. In house spraying. The service-man does a fine job. The company headquarters can be annoying trying to sell me |services that in which I have no interest. | | I have been having their service for thirty years.

Description of Work: Performed annual inspection of house for signs of termites. As termites were found in the basement by previous owner in the 1980s and successfully treated byTerminix, I have kept up an annual contract. No signs of termites have been found since the original problem.

Description of Work: They do quarterly pest inspections. They are very responsive if we have issues with bugs or mice. I gave them a B instead of an A, only because I think they are expensive, you're paying for the brand name.

Description of Work: This service was mostly outside. The tech told me I had spiders and took a tool, that looked like a ceiling fan duster, and cleaned the webs off my shrubs and bushes. Then came inside to spray for bugs and to empty, if needed, several mouse traps I have in my kitchen and basement.

Description of Work: Continued to see rising cost. We did not like the idea of chemicals sprayed indoors on a regular basis. Asked if we could reduce price by treating only outside of house, but were told it's "all or nothing".

Description of Work: I have an ongoing contract with Terminix. Both last year and this year, I had huge wasp's nests and they came out and took care of that problem, promptly and courteously.
