They also sprayed our attic with insulation a few years ago, which made the house quieter and more energy efficient. They are always punctual and professional.We would definitely recommend them!

Description of Work: Many years ago when a neighbor had a termite issue, I contacted Terminix. They inspected my home for termites (none) and treated the property to protect us from the critters. Each year I get an inspection, inside and out for infestation. My original treatment offers a guarantee of free service or further treatment if necessary, free of charge. They also provide for repairs or replacement of new damage as long as the contract is in force. Whether or not all this is true, I have,thankfully, not had to test. I pay for an annual inspection and 1 year renewal of contract.

Description of Work: Inspection only. No termites found. Representative tried to sell services on water proofing crawl space. Told us that it was urgent that it be done. Prior Terminix inspectors reported same thing, but told us it was a elective decision and not critical to do at this time. (Would need to be done if house is being sold.) Have two year contract with Terminix for termite protection. Had a second qualified inspection. Told not critical to get done.

Description of Work: I have a termite insurance plan with Terminix. This year, for the first time, a technician failed to show for an appointment. Next time, I almost got two! |They found a small termite nest outside my house and sent someone to eradicate it within 2 days.

Description of Work: I have used Terminix and have had the same amazing service technician for 8 years. He is truly the reason why we stay with them. In addition, we used their new wildlife service because we had squirrels in our attic. While the technicians were not as amazing as Aaron, they did do what we contracted to do at the steep price and did not hassle over the numerous follow ups.

Description of Work: I hired Terminix several years ago when I had a minor termite infestation. The did an acceptable job of getting rid of the termites at that time. | |The problem is with their follow-up. They promise to provide free inspections every year and "guarantee" that they will come back for free as long as you maintain their subscription. Over the years, that annual "guarantee" increased more than 100% until the annual cost is about 1/5 the price of them re-treating your home. So if you don't have the subscription and termites do not return for more than 5 years, you're ahead of the game. | |As for their annual inspections, they're supposed to notify you ahead of time. However, this coordination ranges from awful to down right worthless. First I would receive a postcard stating the date and time of the inspection. Later, I would receive a phone call stating a different date and time. Twice I waited all day for them to show up and they didn't. One of those times, I was notified afterward that the inspection indicated that everything was fine. That's interesting considering that there was 2 feet of snow around my house during the inspection (what were they going to inspect?) and there were no footprints in the snow. So not only did no one show up, they lied about it. | |I wrote to Terminix to complain and heard nothing until a few days later when I received an email asking me to complete a survey on my satisfaction with their service. Again, no response. Why was I surprised? | |Save your money and hire a local exterminator for less money who doesn't spend a fortune on national advertising.

Description of Work: Annual inspection for termites. A necessary evil if you someday want to sell your home. Pricey.

Description of Work: Contract came with the purchase of the house 25 years ago. In the last 3 years the cost of the contract has risen about 10% per year. Over the years, the annual inspection has found issues and they have been addressed, without additional cost.
