Terminix - Newtown -Termite & Pest Control

They come all the time. I pay about $300 a year. They do indoor and outdoor. They have been good. I have not used other services so I can’t compare. I think they are a little expensive.

They are really friendly. I really like the guy who comes around. I know they do a good job and I count on them to show up when I need them. I have a tennant in my house, so it is important that they don't have problems with pests.

I have a quarterly Terminix contract where they come out to spray my house every so many months. So, when I had Terminix come out they gave me a price and treated right before Christmas. They said everything would be fine for my guests for their stay in the family room. Well, that wasn't the truth and one of my guests got bitten; it's just a horror story. Now, when I called back they told me they can't get these things out of my sofa so I threw the sofa out. So, I had my husband call and they told us they could not come out because we still owe money. The money we owe is taxes on an invoice we paid and that their not coming out until we pay this fifty some dollar tax. Also, they told me my warranty will be up in March. I am very upset and mad and they need to be put on notice.

I have an annual contract with them. They come when I need them and they keep the pest problem under control. I would continue to use them in the future.

They show up on time and do their thing. About 50% of the time, they wind up having to come back. I have problems with ants; I think it's because of the large trees in my backyard.

The overall service went very well. My pest problem has appeared to have disappeared.

I have had them for years. I don't have anything to compare the price with.

Terminix responded to my call promptly. They sent out a technician immediately, and I had a very positive experience. I plan a signing an annual contract with Terminix in the future.

I am on a yearly contract and if the bugs ever come back Terminex will come back out and get rid of them. I will use them again in the future if needed.

They are friendly and thorough. They listen to you and do a great job.

I am on a yearly contract with them for quarterly visits. They are responsive but they change the people who come out fairly often so you constantly have to review what you want done with each new person; it would be nice if they would keep the same person. I will use them again in the future.

They come out when they say they are going to come out. They come out on time. I usually pretty much get the same person.

They have been reliable and provided good service. The response from service people has always been great, but I have had a hard time with billing disputes a few times.

They are very friendly and professional. I never had any real problems with them. I had some questions on the billing but everything was resolved. In terms of price, I have no basis for comparision. I think it is little pricey. In terms of punctuality, I cannot really say because they come out when I am not there. I would use their services again in the future.

They came out and did not really check. They just kind of walked through the house and looked on the outside. They may or may not be okay depending on the inspector that comes over. They were not the way they used to be; they were better when I moved in many years ago. The last time I used them, I had to call them back because there were termites in the grass, and the guy had missed everything. I found that they were more expensive than another company I used. I wouldn’t use them if they were giving their services away.

We have the same professional technicians from several years and we are very pleased with the technicians. They are very professional and friendly. He brings out new techniques each time and doesn’t push me to do that. We had hornet’s problem couple of times outside our house and they come in and helped me several times. They have two or three times to solve our hornet’s problem. I would rate them high overall. Their quality was excellent because we don’t have any pests. They call and fix up the timing before coming and it’s been very helpful. I would use them again in the future.

The day they came to give the estimate they asked us to sign a contract. I was actually looking out for someone who could rectify my problem and suggest what has to be done but they were just trying to tell us that if I sign the contract then I would get some discount and that was not what I was looking for. They were not responsive because they I had to call them twice before they came out. They were punctual. I would not use them in the future.

We have a regular yearly contract with them. We are pretty satisfied with them.

They did a good job in getting rid of carpenter bee problem. I would use their service in the future too.

I have known their name for years. I checked them up on the internet and found an office nearby. I called them and signed a contract. They are fabulous. I like their professionalism and that they are well known for years as being reputable. They have been in business for a long time, and I like to do business with such people, but just that does not qualify them to be good. They provide courteous service. They always follow up with literature to see if I need anything else. I have had no problems so far. Everything has been good, and I am very pleased with them. They are extremely thorough and provide very personable customer service. They pay attention to detail. The most recent visit was free because I am under contract. It was an initial fee that I paid for. I don?t really remember the price I paid, but it has been worth it because it guarantees them coming back; moreover, it is a lifetime guarantee. I had one other estimate, which was about $300 cheaper, but it was not the same kind of service contract, so I chose Terminix. They make followup visits occasionally and do some checking. My experience with them has been great. I have nothing really to complain about. I would recommend them to anyone and would continue to use them in the future.

There were no problems just a regular visit as part of the Terminix package so, I can't say how effective it was.

Within days there was no longer any evidence of pest activity. Now many weeks from initial treatment and no pest activity. Next scheduled treatment late Sept 2010. We are confident that we will rely on this provider long into the future, because of price and professionalism.

called re: possible bed bug problem because I had a lot of bite and we had stayed at hotel recently. Rep came and said he saw some traces (athough we couldn't see anything); he looked at bites on my arm and say, yep, those are bed bug bites. The nest day, the exterminator came and sprayed the bedroom. Since I was still getting bites (or so I thought) I went to the doctor two days later and found out that I had systemic poison ivy! The Rep was obviously just a salesman. I feel totally ripped off by them.

The experience was fine. They were personable.
