Jack was great to work with, very professional, made helpful suggestions, easy to work with and reasonable pricing. The crew did a fantastic job, flooring looks great... they paid attention to details, cleaned up all areas, completed the job on time. It was done very well and faster than I exected. The hardwood was pretty much finished in one day except for some tweaking. The carpet took another half day.

Jack was incredibly flexible. He came at 7:30AM and stayed until 9:30PM. It took only two days to complete the project. He took no shortcuts, and worked very cleanly. He's quick and professional. He does things the right way, which I like. I've recommended him to all my friends!

Jack the owner lives up to his word and promises. He was prompt when he came for the original estimate and his first quote was better than his competitors. I liked his professionalism from the beginning and made a decision to hire him. In all honesty I must mention he forgot our original appointment on Monday October 17th. He apologized immediately for his mistake and was prompt to begin work on Tuesday October 18th. I found his staff to be polite and professional. They left my house Wednesday October 19th cleaner than when they arrived. The most important point I must mention was the quality of their work. Every corner, every closet, every vent or wall outlet was covered in an impeccable manner. I have never written a review before but I would be proud to recommend jack and his staff to anyone considering hardwood floor installations.

This is my second work done by the company. Again, Jack's team did a great job installing tiles in my kitchen and powder room floors. The crews were professional, punctual and very efficient. They even helped me put together and install the new toilet, vanity and faucets in my powder room. The pricing was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

Jack's team did a great job getting our floors done in time for a family visit. The work needed to be done around existing kitchen upgrades, and they did a very good job making sure that the details were done well. I appreciated that the moldings, which were replaced in the kitchen and attached living area were done so well, and they made sure that everything was exactly as I wanted it before they considered the job done. To top it all off, Jack allowed us to use his contractor's account at the flooring supplier, and we saved quite a lot of money for excellent quality tile over what we would have paid elsewhere.

You may have to call and/or text Jack a few times before connecting with him, but once you do you'll find him to be engaged and accountable. Great. Jack was responsive and helpful and kept things moving re: choosing and ordering wood even while he was on vacation. His crew was fast and professional. Finished within the agreed-upon time frame.

I called and explained that I needed an estimate for wood flooring warping due to my refrigerator leaking and that I was working with Sears on receiving compensation, Once Jack heard this he refused to come out because it would not be worth his while since the money may never be awarded. I was a bit taken aback, and assure him I would get the flooring done with or without the money being awarded. The answer was still no. I had kitchen backsplash recently done and now looking for 400 sq feet of floor tile to be installed as well as hardwood floor repair. Not to mention the remaining work projects on the list for next year. So would I or did I call him for an estimate on any of this work ...NO. All based on my first encounter with him.. Jack...remember first impressions matter and no job is ever too small. My advice is to never assume how things may be....it never serves you or your business well.

The tile that he installed in the front door foyer was much lower in transition than the wood floor. Upon inspection, I found the difference in height to be unacceptable and a trip hazard. I asked him to do it over. His answer was asking me how he should do it of which I'm not the flooring expert. He figured it out pretty quickly how to level the two floorings and re-laid the tile again (very well I might add) and charged me an additional amount to the bill to fix the problem. I didn't want the hassle so I agreed to pay it. He charged me for the trash take away but didn't take it away. I had to remove it from my house of which he gave me a $100 credit. I now have a smooth and level transition from my living room wood floor to the tiled entry foyer.

Phenomenal from start to finish. I got several estimates for laminate and vinyl flooring but with each estimate came substantial cost in addition to chores added to my to-do list. I didn't want to work with one guy on flooring, another on backsplash and have to hire a plumber to shut off the gas/ water. Some told me I would have to move my appliances too! I scheduled an estimate with Jack and was astonished that not only was he capable of doing ALL of the work, he would shut off my gas/ water, move my toilets and appliances...for a total cost UNDER any other estimate I had, even if I went with tile over vinyl! Of course I did not mention the absurd estimates I received, I just asked him to schedule the work. Jack adjusted the schedule for the labor so that we would retain one working bathroom, he was mindful of my schedule, he was very easy to get in touch with and a pleasure to work with. Jeff and Alexander did our tile work and backsplash and it came out beautiful. Jeff even suggested grout colors to consider (I hadn't even thought about it). Ed lead the work on the laminate install and it also turned out beautiful. They all worked hard; my home is small and packed. Everything that had to be moved was put back exactly as it was. One of my biggest things is that I feel comfortable with and can trust the people coming into my home. I had the utmost trust in Jack's crew because of my trust in him. I hoped to be thrilled with the end result but didn't expect to be just as happy with the process. Renovations can be overwhelming and stressful; my experience with Floor Installation Systems was neither and the finished product is better than I hoped for!

It went great! Jack and his crew completed the work while we were away on vacation since the floors needed a few days without any traffic on them. We have 2 children and 2 dogs so Jack took extra care to make sure that the floors were clean and ready to be finished. He also finished our stairway railings to match the floor. We were shocked when we got home to see our new floor - it really looks like a NEW floor. We couldn't be happier. We will definitely be calling on Jack again when we are ready to install hardwood floors upstairs.

Original installer left us with ripped out floors in two rooms for over 2 weeks with no end in sight because they could not handle small subfloor height differences. Called Jack and he was able to fit us in on the weekend on an emergency basis at a very good price. Great communication and height differences were managed during a 1 day install. Installers showed up on time as promised, were very professional and accommodated all our detailed requests for finishing touches. Looks perfect and thanks for getting the job done so quickly.

We had a bathroom project that went awry, and fired our contractor. I found Jack on Angie's list and gave them a call. He came out and took a look, and gave me a good estimate for the tile floor and shower. He didn't balk at the large tiles, the infinity drain, or the complex shower. He also had some suggestions for how to finish things off to make them look really nice. I liked the price and also felt that he was a good guy, so we decided to hire them. On the day we had scheduled, his installer, Matt, showed up on time. He took a look at the project, took some measurements, and headed out for what he needed to get started. He came back and started work that same day. He did a masterful job with the floor and the shower. Matt also had some suggestions for making things look finished, so we followed his lead and let him roll with it. Matt took as much time as he needed to make this project look amazing, yet he finished in less time than quoted. He was so careful with the big tiles, making them fit and getting them level. He did some amazing cuts in order to do things with one tile that I would have thought required multiple small pieces. I've done some smaller tile jobs myself and there is no way I could have done this. All in all, the job came in on budget, on time, and looks great. Jack, the owner, gave me some referrals for other contractors, to help me finish the job. All of them have been responsive and fair priced. I would highly recommend this company for your next floor job.

Our original contractor was unable to install the flooring in time so we were researching installers. After contacting a few that wouldn't dare install the flooring we had already purchased we found Floor Installation Systems. I spoke with Jack on the phone and he was very knowledgeable and understanding of the situation. He informed me that they had an opening for Saturday (I called on Tuesday of the same week). Jack explained the two types of installations and answered any questions. Saturday morning I met the installers at my house they were very polite and arrived on time. The installation took about 4 hours and they did a fantastic job. They explained how the floating floor works and how to take care of the bamboo. I would definitely recommend Floor Installation Systems to anyone in need of a flooring installation.

This was an excellent experience working with Jack on the new floor we had installed in our basement. Jack recommended a new product for the flooring and we couldn't be happier with it. The installation went really well. They were very professional and left the area cleaned up and spotless. I would highly recommend this company to everyone for the ease of working with Jack and the quality of the work they do. We were really very pleased with the work and this company.

Jack and his team were excellent to work with! From the beginning they were helpful and patient as we worked through the selection process of our hardwood. The workers that came to the house were very professional, worked quickly and did a AWESOME job. They left the home each day as clean as when they arrived. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and we will use them again. Highly recommend if you are looking to install hardwood floors.

The whole project was outstanding. Jack knows his stuff, and worked with us narrowing down our choices of new flooring. We went with a waterproof vinyl flooring that is both beautiful and durable (CORETec Plus XL, Metropolis Oak). Jack had a dumpster delivered on Sunday (for the old flooring). Bright and early Monday, one of his guys (Matthew) arrived and began the rip up of the existing floors. By the time I arrived home after work, we were down to subfloor everywhere. All of the material was in the dumpster, and everything was clean, just floor-less :) Tuesday, Jack and his team showed up for the install. His installer, Matt, is a wizard. They worked efficiently throughout our open-floor-plan downstairs, and got a significant portion of the first floor done that day. Jack did the stairs himself, and they are flawless, with white risers offsetting the dark gray floor. Wednesday, the whole group returned, and finished the first floor, including trim, and Jack wrapped up the stairs. On Thursday, they finished the 2nd floor and trim, and cleaned up - they were done by lunchtime. It looks better than we could have imagined. These guys really know their stuff, and work efficiently and effectively. I can't believe we had all of our floors removed and replaced in the span of 3 and a half days. These guys are the real deal - experts about the product, true artists on installation, and professional and punctual throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, and I know I'll call them the next time I need this kind of work done.

My family and I love the bamboo floor that was installed. They did great work and were very professional. Jack was spot on with his advice on the flooring at the duplex. After the carpet was taken up, we noticed some staining on the existing hardwood. Jack stated that he could replace some boards at an added cost or I could go with a dark stain as a cheaper alternative. I went with a walnut stain. The floor came out amazing. I could not be more pleased. If my family or friends needed to have flooring replaced, I would strongly recommend Jack and his crew.

This was the best experience I've had with an installation contractor. Excellent service & communication prior to install by the owner Jack and the day of install could not have gone better. The 2 installers were so professional, efficient and i cannot believe how amazing my flooring looks! I am sooo happy i decided to have this company install for me and not do it ourselves or go with anyone else. 100% happy & completely worth it. Will definitely use again in the future!

Jack and his team did a great job. Jack was quick to give us an estimate and schedule the job. His price was very competitive/fair, and his installers did really nice work. We are very happy that we went with Jack's recommended product (COREtec) as opposed to a lower-quality vinyl and we would use this company again in the future.
