We couldn't be happier. The floor is perfect and I think Jack and Matt are artists. Jack shaved boards so they'd fit the odd spaces perfectly and worked a small miracle around our fireplace. His rate for the installation was much lower than that of the big-name, high-overhead outfits we received bids from and we can't find a single thing we don't love about our new family room floor. Now I'm looking around the house for the next floor he can do for us. I wouldn't call anyone else.

My experience with them was excellent. The man was really nice and very polite. When he came out for the estimate, he was a little bit late so he informed me immediately. He tried to get in touch with me to talk about the estimate. They did a wonderful job.

Jack did a good job.

Jack Dalton was very responsive. I needed to get the job done because I had purchased new furniture for the room and wanted to get the floor installed first. It was right before Christmas and he was very busy but he made time for my job. His assistant was very helpful also. They worked non-stop and did an excellent job. A professional team who know their business well, I highly recommend them.

This company exceeded our expectations. We had a tight budget and wanted to buy the materials ourselves and have an installer install the floors. After getting estimates from a number of installers, we contacted FIS and received a very competitive estimate. We selected them based on other reviews and had the work done last weekend. Jack (owner) and Matt did the work themselves and the result was excellent. The outcome is exactly what we wanted. Jack is very dedicated and took great care to see us completely satisfied. Both of them are knowledgeable and experienced. Work was completed on time. We highly recommend others to use this company. We are very happy to have taken the time to review installers from Angies List. Our family room looks great and we can't be happier. We are already thinking of calling Jack for our next project.

We ordered Allure Plus vinyl plank flooring ourselves online from Home Depot. We then checked Angie's List and contracted Jackson Dalton owner of Floor Installation Systems for an estimate to install this flooring in 3 bedrooms. Job was quoted with details of work to be done. We hired him and the job was scheduled and completed on the date promised. Loved the floor and workmanship so much we again contacted him to install same floor throughout the remaining rooms of our home. After we received the materials the job was scheduled for December 3 and completed again as promised by Dec 7. Can't thank them enough for their excellent workmanship, attention to details and promptness. Will definitely recommend them to all.

I contacted Jack for an estimate & he came out a few days later on a Sunday to discuss the job. Jack instantly impressed us by pointing out issues and possible solutions that never surfaced when prior estimators had come out. He provided an estimate for the job that day that compared very favorably to those we had obtained from a big box store and another installer. Jack told us our job would require 2 full days and he worked out dates that met our availability. Jack also referred us to a wholesale flooring warehouse where we purchased a very nice product at a very reasonable price. Jack arranged with the warehouse to pick up & deliver our flooring. Jack and his.assistant arrived on time each day, and were very careful in moving our furniture and took care to protect walls & other surfaces. They paid close attention to all the details to ensure a quality job. They stayed late both days to ensure the job met our needs. We are thrilled with our new floors! Throughout this process, Jack was always concerned about our satisfaction with his work. I would absolutely use Jack again for all my flooring needs and would highly recommend him to all.

I think the job took Jack and his assistant a bit longer than they had expected, because he told us he expected to be finished by about 3:00pm but it was a few hours later than that by the time they left. But they did not complain nor increase the price. I would recommend Jack Dalton to others looking to have flooring installed.

I called Jack for an estimate to install flooring. He was professional and on time. He gave a quote and I scheduled the job. He directed us to a flooring warehouse where we could purchase our floors . Jack was able to accommodate last minute changes to the installation with no problem. Jack and his assistant came out on the scheduled day and installed the floors in a timely and professional manner. The floors came out great and I would use floor installations again for my next flooring project.

They conquered a very difficult job with great results. Nothing is square or level in these older homes and that just makes an installer's job a real headache. We are very happy with the work from start to finish. They were on time, neat, and respectful. We already have more work lined up with Jack for the future.

Jack and his assistant arrived on time, made sure to cover all the areas to prevent the carpet from getting dirty, installed the tile floor, and cleaned up the entire area when they finished. The floor looks fantastic and all molding joints/angles were right on. Jack has great people skills and made the whole experience enjoyable. I will use Jack for our future renovations and look forward to working with him again.

Jack was very professional and did an excellent job. I supplied the materials and paid Jack for the labor and installation.I would use him again and would recomend him highly. He came on time to give me the original estimate and started the job and finished on time as promised. Cleaned up work area and was very neat and clean on the job.

Jack arrived on time and he evaluated the work area and told us exactly how he planned to proceed. He was friendly and professional and let us know right up front the job would take more than a day.The time came when we needed to decide the layout of the planks from the hallway into the dining room -- whether to put a threshold and continue the flooring (the easy way) or whether he would continue the layout without a threshold (the more complicated way).Jack gave us his recommendation, not based on the easy way, but making the recommendation to do it the more complicated way because he said that's the way he would do it if it were his house.I had the impression Jack did every phase of the job as if he were doing his own house.When he took off the doors, he carefully folded cardboard around the tops so he didn't mark the wall.The job did take another day; on the second day he finished laying the planks and then did the finishing work.Again, he did not cut corners when it came to the finishing work and the clean-up.He put all new moldings, carefully mitered them, fit them together and caulked them, too.He didn't waste any of the planks and, in the end, we had 3 full boxes to take back for a refund!He cleaned up beautifully, put the doors back on and bagged up all the trash.We love, love, love our new floors!There is no question in my mind that I would use Jack again and I would recommend him without reservation.

They are great and outstanding. The price was good and what they quoted. They were on time, professional, and did a great job. I absolutely plan to use them again in the future.

We decided to go with Floor Installation Systems after receiving quotes from three other providers. Jack was extremely professional and accommodating from the first phone call through the consultation and actual installation, going out of his way to save us money and fit the service into his busy schedule. He arrived at our home early and stayed late to ensure that everything was done meticulously. We couldn't be happier with the finished product! Fresh paint and new floors in the bedrooms were our top priorities when we bought our house, and this has given our new home the look we were hoping for.

Initial service was the installation of a new hardwood floor in a bedroom and an indoor porch area. The carpet was removed, the floor area cleaned and the hickory hard wood floor was installed in a professional and competent manner within the time agreed.The next contact involved the renovation of an old bathroom ( pink tile on plaster walls) - FIS estimated the job and provided a start date. The project started on time and even with the discovery that the existing plaster walls had to be completely removed and the walls had to be demoed to the studs - the work was done in a professional and timely manner. Jack Daulton and his helpers did an excellent job in preparing the area, installing ceramic tile from floor to ceiling, providing plumbing and electrical services, installing the new fixtures and cabinets, and cleaning the area at completion. We would not hesitate to recommend Jack and FIS to any of our friends and family. The experience was enhanced by the pleasant and cooperative manner of Jack and his helpers and the professional and competent work and follow up that was performed.

The job turned out splendidly, as the new "Tiger Wood" floor is beautiful. The work was accomplished when promised by the owner himself and his crew. The cost was quite reasonable, and the overall experience was smooth as silk.
