I cannot say enough good things about Jack and Matt! They replaced the flooring in my living and dining room after a flood destroyed the laminate, and they did such a great job that now I want to have them do the rest of the condo, too. They were friendly, polite, professional, and efficient - not to mention the best price around! I thoroughly enjoyed working with them and hope I get the chance to do so again (without the flood).

From intial contact through completeion of the job, Jack was great to deal. Personal and professional they did a grea job on my floor. Total cost was a bout 1/3 less than competing quotes. Will being using Jack again.

We needed a job completed ASAP since we are expecting a baby in a few weeks--Jack installed vinyl in our basement for an in-law suite. Jack did a great job and worked on our basement floor for 13 consecutive hours to meet our tight time constraints! The floor looks great and Jack was very professional and responsive. We will definitely call Jack again if we need any additional floor work.

This is the second job for which I have hired them. They did a great job. They were prompt and courteous. Their prices are fair. They carefully explained everything that was going on. Now my shower looks great and better than it ever did before. I would hire them a third time without question.

I can't say enough great things about these guys! They completely rebuilt a swooping floor in my mother's upstairs bedroom. The floor was under wall to wall carpeting and had a very visible, noticeable swoop (there's no other word to really describe it). Another contractor had recommended a seemingly more complicated, disruptive solution that involved cranking up the ceiling on the main floor to lift the subfloor, but we definitely did not want to have work going on in two areas of the house over what could be a lengthy period of time. We called Jack and were able to speak with him right away. He seemed to know what our problem was even over the phone and expressed confidence in being able to remedy our issue by just rebuilding the bedroom floor (without touching the ceiling below). Matt came out to take a look at the job, and we got an estimate right away. Within a day or two, they came out to do the job. On the day of the job, they were not only early, but had arrived and were waiting for us. These guys had to remove the floor moldings, cut the wall-to-wall carpet, remove all of the old flooring and completely rebuild a solid floor with all new materials. After rebuilding the floor, they stretched and re-tacked the carpeting (doing a better job than what was there originally) and reinstalled the moldings. They even added some finishing touches that we didn't know were needed for a completely professional job. In the end, they vacuumed the entire area and did a thorough, clean job. You couldn't tell they had been there, except that we had a brand new floor. Oh, and did I say that they did it all--from start to finish--in one day?!! These guys are truly the best! The price was very reasonable and they stuck to the estimate. They were pleasant, professional and courteous, and went above and beyond to ensure the customer's satisfaction. We would definitely rehire them again, and plan to do so in the future. I enthusiastically recommend this company with no reservations!!

Overall it went very well. We played telephone tag a few times to get a date nailed down, but that was as much my fault. He showed up on time and stayed until he was finished. He and a helper worked very hard. They were respectful and very neat. I would hire him any time.

We had a little bit of trouble getting the date set, but once we did Jack and Matt arrived as scheduled. They worked diligently and professionally. From the start the floors looked great. The installation took more than the one day scheduled, but Jack came back the next day to finish. Jack was thorough and cleaned up afterwards...which I appreciated. We are delighted with the way our floors look. My only complaint is that the floors are squeaky. This may be a fact of engineered floors that we have to live with. All in all I would definitely recommend Floor Installation Systems and I would use them again.

First thing that impressed us was the prompt call back, Jack was very informative and helpful in discussing our project. Jack & Matt showed up on time for the job. They work very well together and it was a pleasure having them in our home. Thier back and forth banter was actually quite enjoyable. On to the work, the old ceramic tile was not installed properly and was loose and popping up in several spots. They installed wonderboard and leveled out the floor which will stablize the new tile. The attention to detail is evident in the finshed work. The new tile and grout look beautiful. They did a good job cleaning everthing up. They helped us reinstall all the appliances and made sure everyting was working properly. I have to say my wife and I are more than pleased with the excellant work performed, fair pricing, and plan on having Jack & Matt back to redo our bathroom floor and kitchen backsplash in tile.

The job went excellent. These guys were very punctual, professional, and they are really master tile installers on top of it all. The installation looks top notch. I am very happy with it. They worked the whole day through, and they finished my job in less than two days. Jack was kind enough to pick up my tiles 30 minutes away in his truck. And Matt laid down my tile to perfection. They even helped me figure out what is going wrong with my tile shower. They also helped me carry my large pieces of furniture up and down from the basement. I would definitely hire them again.

He made arrangements to do the work, the first time he called to say he was ill, so he rescheduled. The second date was arranged and he didn't show and didn't call! Then he stopped answering phone calls that were made to him asking if he planned on ever showing up to do the work

Based on Angies List recommendations I called Jack. Jack was very responsive and very knowledgeable. I explained that I was at least 1 1/2 hour car ride from him and he was still interested. I sent him pictures of the job and he priced it based on the pictures. His pricing was very reasonable. He and Matt came early and left late every day for 5 consecutive days. They were professional, quick and clean and really nice guys. I wish I could clone them!

Jack was perfect! I couldn't imagine anyone better! I orginally purchased my flooring with Home Depot and arranged for them to do the install, since I never had a problm with them in the past. Once they found out that some of the underflooring needed to be replaced they told me they don't do that kind of work and left me to figure out what to do. I found Jack on Angie's List. We spoke a few times on the phone and I sent him a picture of the room. Not only did he say he could do the work, but that he had been getting quite a few calls from other people who had bad experiences with Home Depot. Not only did Jack show on time, he came on the Fouth of July because he knew I had problems getting off of work. The end result is that I have a beautiful new floor, that was installed in less time, with less material and at a lower cost cost than Home Depot. Today I am going to return the unused material and try to finally sort out the refund for their install that I had to pay in advance. If you need any flooring done, call Jack first. He's the best out there.

I spoke to Jack over phone , he came same day evening and we went over quote , frankly speaking after I spoke to him I didn;t check with any other flooring company , because he was good and seems trust worthy for me to hand over big job I had. Jack and his partner came on day we schedule and started working on Job , due to nature of Job it took couple of days , but they worked professionally and worked hard and gave attention to details

Jack and Matt were amazing. Provided excellent service. Was very courteous, very clean! Worked quickly and efficiently. My husband and I are so happy with the work! I would definitely recommend John to anyone looking for a skilled, reliable professional. My experience with them was excellent. They were really nice and very polite.

He called from the road to let us know that he was on his way as scheduled. He arrived on time and completed the whole project in a few hours. He's very fast and meticulous and just a nice guy. The floor looks great and he left us with specific instructions regarding the care of our new vinyl floor. And his price can't be beat. I would use him again in the future if I need any additional flooring work.

I spoke to Jackson a couple of weeks before the installation date and explained that I was trying to keep costs down and had already demolished the old tile floor. He was happy to work with me and told me that I'd probably saved myself half the total price by removing the old floor. His estimate was among the lowest - and some people told me that my removing the old floor made no difference in the project cost. He and his partner arrived right on time on the agreed-upon date, checked out the bathroom and headed to Home Depot for the baseboard. Due to MY error (I said that I'd provide grout and I forgot) they had to make a second trip. These guys are total professionals - they were back in no time and got right to work. I don't think they even took a lunch break. It's important to note in this review that my home is well over 100 years old and problems always come up. When they did, Jackson explained the situation to me, provided me with several options and gave me the pros and cons for each. The result is a beautiful new floor that I'm 100% happy with. These guys worked hard and were professional in every way. I had to leave before they were finished and when I returned, you'd never know that they'd been there - they completely cleaned up. They were pleasant and personable. Jackson stayed right at the agreed upon $500 price and didn't charge me for the baseboard and grout - how often do you see that?! I would hire Floor Install Systems Inc. again in a heartbeat. They did the job right and for a reasonable price.

It was phenomenal. He was awesome, had really good customer service, and honest. The service was fast and very good. It was a great experience.

Jack and Matt did a great job start to finish. They were available and flexible to consult on the scope of the project, the time for completion and even helped me out over the phone when I was at the store picking out tile materials. My primary concern for the project (rental property) was that the floor be level and Jack reassured me that it could be done well with minimal disruption to my tenants -- even in my old house. Most importantly, however, Jack delivered on his promises. The floor was leveled, the new floor installed (with trim and thresholds) and it was all done BEFORE my time frame and with respect for the budget. They left no evidence that any work had been done. Simply put, my floors look fantastic. I could not have asked for better service or a better result. I would not hesitate to recommend Jack and Matt to you for whatever flooring project you have in mind.

Jackson and Matt installed the flooring professionally and quick too! I would highly recommend this service to anyone interested in having any type of flooring installed. They were great to deal with and answered all of my questions prior to installation and afterward.

I needed tile flooring installed in my finished basement. Jack responded promptly and provided a competitive estimate. We agreed on a date, and even though I had to postpone and reschedule, he fitted me in to accommodate my date restrictions. The floor was installed in one day, very professionally. Cleanup was perfect, and I was given many pointers on caring for the new flooring.

It went well. Jack and Matt are very nice to work with, they arrived on time and cleaned up when finished. Jack picked up the tile at Daltile and the cement board / grout. The floors look wonderful. It is sometimes difficult to get in touch with Jack, and they seem to be very busy. The price was good and the work was well done.

Now I have to start from scratch, a week and a half lost.

It was a two day job since the tile adhesive needs 24 hours to dry. Everything was tiled on day 1, and the next day Jack grouted everything, installed the molding, and cleaned up all surfaces. The floor makes the bathroom look like new even though I didn't upgrade my vanity or the toilet and tub. The backsplash, and especially the glass tile design, make the kitchen look incredible. This was the second tile job that Jack has done for me and this job was just as professional as the first. Jack is a craftsman!
