Although initially it was a little tough getting Jack to come out to do the estimate, once he came everything was great. Short time from getting the estimate to scheduling the work. Matt did a great job - kept the mess to a concentrated area, worked quickly and efficiently, and kept the job on time. I work from home and they were very courteous about the noise as well. Only minor snafu was that they needed to come back to instal the sils as they hadn't been able to determine in advance the dimensions. That took a little longer than I would have liked but they matched them perfectly to my hardwood floors. Overall a great job by really nice, professional guys. I had estimates from two other installers and not only were these guys the best price but they were the most knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile by far. They not only demo'ed everything but they replaced the baseboards, re-hooked up the appliances and installed a new toilet.

Jack and his team did a great job. I left for work that morning and when I returned everything was cleaned up and the hardwood looked great. I highly recommend them.

This is the second time we used Jack and his team, and we are just as happy as we were the first time. Jack and team worked on a house we were selling back in October, and because of the great work he did, we were able to sell the house in 7 days. Yes. The floors sold the house, directly from the buyers mouth. We just purchased a new home, and 1/2 of the place was oak hardwood, in need of some serious loving. The amount of work they had to do to get our master bedroom floors back to the way they used to look, was nothing short of amazing. Jack is a pro, and more than that, he has an impeccable sense of customer service. Our floors look amazing! This service provider had great reviews and I was really looking forward to having the same experience but their customer service and responsiveness left me with $1000 worth of merchandise sitting in my driveway a few weeks before the holidays and only a possibility of an install date. My initial estimate appointment was forgotten and there was lots of communication after that, none of which seemed to be leading to me getting my floors installed before the holidays, which was my only request and concern when I made contact in November. This was a huge disappointment for me, and I don't think it was intentional but the business management skills and responsiveness of this vendor was subpar.

We love it! They were so professional and accommodating, and other than the noise & some dust, we'd never have known they were here. Jack even insisted we get other quotes when he came out to measure and check the job we wanted done. Before he started he told us how much material to order and what extra pieces we'd need. Jack came to our house for an initial estimate; his quote was the most competitive estimate we received and he stood out as the most experienced and knowledgable. He started work on the date he initially quoted us and finished up the job in 2-3 days, right on time. He and his crew were considerate, punctual, hard working and we couldn't be happier with how our floors turned out. We have already recommended Jack to friends and family who have used him and were very pleased. We would definitely use him again.

Jack Daulton, Matt, ,Eduardo and crew, but most importantly KARI DAULTON could not have done a better job regarding my total downstairs, stairway and upper hallway floor makeover. From the initial contact with Jack and needing a quick emergency response for the kitchen floor to work within my kitchen contractor's time line to a more controlled selection and execution of a beautiful hardwood living/dining room installation, I can not express enough how pleased I am with this company. Jack bent over backwards to meet our scheduling needs and made sure all aspects of the job, from prep work to final cleanup, were done to our satisfaction. There was some water damage on a corner of the family room due to a broken pipe. I got the pipe fixed but that left some holes on my wall sheet rock. Insurance was called and they decided that the whole engineered wood flooring (family room, kitchen and hallway) needed to be replaced and gave me a good sum amount. Next was the search for the installer and I did not want to deal with 2 contractors, 1 for floor and 1 for wall. Fortunately Jack told me that he can handle both. Talked with 2 different groups. Jack's was slightly costlier but his reviews were much more better in Angie's list. So we decided to go with Jack. Insurance had paid us for replacing wood in 3 rooms. We actually put tiles in those rooms as well as an additional living room for less money. It took some while to get the work started, because we wasted about a month searching for tiles and then Jack's schedule was all filled up. So finally work started after 2 months. On the day scheduled, Jack's crew arrived a little early and got started on ripping up the old flooring. As others have mentioned in reviews before, they dont remove the dishwasher, so the flooring does not go all the way under it. Kitchen still looks nice because you cannot see the place where there is no tiles, but I am pretty sure that will be an issue next time we need to pull it out. The work was completed few days back. We had a slightly complicated pattern put in the kitchen and simple brick style in all other places. The kitchen looks simply amazing. I have not found any problems yet. Main thing is my wife is absolutely pleased with the work that was done. Matt who did all the work (tiling, grouting, cleaning...etc) was a pleasure to work with. His helpers were there only for carrying stuff and do adhoc things. It was a 4 day job, and I am sure Matt did almost everything. I feel bad for the guy as I do not think his helpers do much to help him. The extra care he took in laying the kitchen floor in the exact pattern that we wanted was a pleasure to watch. After the grouting was done, they replaced the base molding in all the rooms and also put in some cove bases in the kitchen cabinets. and moved back all the furnitures to where it was. The wall was fixed with new sheet rock. My work still pending would be to paint the one wall and the moldings. Seeing how not lazy I am, I figure that work will be done in a couple of years. I was pretty sure that all the good reviews Jack has on the site is only because of Matt. But then after a couple of days when Jack came to collect the rest of the money, he helped us load up the rest of the tiles (and believe me that was a lot. almost 16 boxes - about half a ton) and return them to Home Depot. I was not home that day, and I am sure Jack had to lift all that himself with no help. I ofcourse tipped Matt for the work he did, but not to Jack. And I feel bad for it. I am inviting them to my house in a few weeks for a get together since he said he likes Indian food. Another thing I liked about them is how they collected the money after the work. I had heard horror stories of contractors taking money up front and then take their own sweet time finishing the work. And you will be stuck with them since you have already paid for it. Not with Jack though. I would highly recommend them for any flooring work in a heartbeat.

Jack Dalton came to give me an estimate for kitchen floor. He said he would pick up the materials for me. After a couple of emails requesting him to call me had a few questions to ask him he did not responed. Everything was done thru his office. Her name was Kari. She emailed me back on 11/29/14 stating she would send me itemized bill to see my 25% disc/t. As of today have not recv'd anything in mail or thru email. I found another flooring contractor on another site he did beautiful work and for much much cheaper. He also gave me invoice of how much material cost him. Did not take any money until job was completed. He was professional and had good work ethnics. Needless to say I will not be using Flooring Systems again!

Searched Angie's List for a floor installer. I had already done the shopping for the materials and decided to buy the flooring online instead of from a local retailer, saving a little over $2/sq. ft. Contacted Jack and was impressed with his customer skills and knowledge of flooring. He wasn't the low bid, but I liked the prep work he included in his estimate and he was willing to work within our budget, so we decided we wanted Jack to do the job. The week of our scheduled install I had to postpone. He is a busy guy and it took nearly a month to get another date on his schedule. Meanwhile I had boxes of hardwood stacked in our living and family rooms. Finally the day of install arrived and Jack's crew arrived a little early and got started on ripping up the old flooring. Jack arrived soon after and remained with the crew throughout the day. Jack personally took care of disconnecting the fixtures in the powder room, laying the floor and reinstalling the toilet and sink. They won't mess with your dishwasher though, so the flooring does not go all the way under it. Of course it looks perfect, but in the future it may be an inconvenience if the dishwasher needs to be pulled out. At the end of the day we settled up and all in all I was extremely pleased with the results. Unfortunately, the next day, I noticed one of the boards had a crack running though it. It is hardly noticeable and I only came across it accidentally. I called Jack to inform him of the problem and he said he would come out to fix it when they are in our area. Hopefully he will stick to his word. We know some contractors are not interested in call backs once they have been paid in full, but I have every confidence that Jack is not one of them. Will post an update (if I can) when he makes the repair. All in all I am giving Floor Install Systems straight A's on their report card. If you are considering a flooring project, give Jack the opportunity to bid on the job. UPDATE 12/3/2014: Just over 2 weeks later Jack sent 2 of his guys out to repair the cracked board. They arrived in the morning and got right to work, removed the damaged piece and replaced it with a new one. Work was done quickly and it looks great. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Floor Installation Systems to anyone in the market for new flooring. You can count on Jack to deliver a quality project.

The flooring looks great and has improved the appearance of the house so much. We get compliments from everyone who comes to the house. In fact, my daughter is thinking of having them do some of their flooring as well. His workers and especially Matt were so careful and precise in laying the flooring. This project has enabled us to have the flooring we dreamed of NOW. I would highly recommend Jack and his crew IF you want a great professional floor installation at very reasonable pricing.

Overall, the shower surround looks nice and certainly a lot better than the former fiberglass surround. Just wish there had been better communication throughout the process and a higher priority placed on ensuring the finishing details were done well. We ended up having to address some items ourselves and hire additional trades to finish unresolved details.

Very friendly, courteous and professional. Everything, including price, was beyond expectations. They worked with our budget and provided best suggestions for our project needs. Job was done in very timely manner and extremely exceptional work. Everyone was absolutely wonderful and friendly to work with and very honest. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend.

Jack and his crew were fantastic. When he first came by for the estimate I knew he was the guy for the job. He's very easy to work with, communicates well, and works hard to make sure you get what you want. We went thru Lumber Liquidators for the material and got a great price for our choice (< $4/sf). Jack had the wood delivered and we were able to schedule the install the following week. His crew was punctual and very professional, not to mention very fast. Even with a nightmare laminate that needed tearing up they were able to finish the entire job in under 2 days. Jack is a definitely a man of his word and when he gives you a quote he does everything he can to stick to it. I would not hesitate to hire him again and refer him to anyone wanting beautiful floors.

Amazing. Jack, Matt, and Carlos were punctual and efficient, working non-stop throughout the day. Due to some unexpected details, the job was bigger than they'd first anticipated, but they ended up spending extra hours working to finish the job on schedule, all in ONE DAY. Frankly, this was amazing, because it was probably a 2-day job and they simply decided to push through and get it finished. It looks amazing, the price was lower than the competition, and the entire team is very friendly. Matt and Carlos handled the majority of the installation, and Jack was onhand periodically to supervise, supply, and get my feedback. This is an amazing team of guys who deserve your business. Be forewarned, Jack is very popular AND busy, so schedule WELL in advance of your install date. We booked 2 months in advance and this was good for Jack's team and our own schedule.

Jack and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. From day one, he came to give an estimate and was on-time, polite, knowledgeable, and reasonable with his estimate. He even helped recommend new floors when the laminate I wanted was sold out unexpectedly. He didn't try to nickel and dime me by selling me a moisture barrier when it wasn't necessary. He was easy to schedule with, and him and his team came on time on install day. They moved around all my furniture, installed the floors, and actually finished ahead of schedule (a whole day early). When I got home, I could not believe how nice it looked - I will definitely be bringing Jack and his team back for any other jobs I might need and recommending them to my friends who are renovating.

We have been prepping my mother-in-law's house for sale for the past 2 months, when an inspector told us we should look into refinishing our beat up floors. Jack gave us a quote that made going to carpet a bad financial decision, and he was able to work with our crazy schedule. These guys did amazing work! I highly recommend using them, you will not be disappointed. Jack, can't wait to do business with you again once we buy a new place.

Matt and his son worked non-stop all day and completed the job in the time estimated. The floor looks great - and they were very pleasant do have around while working. I've already asked them to estimate another job for me that I need to do.

Wow...what can I say but that we sit and look in awe of work Jack and his staff did. Such a great improvement and they were such hard workers - finishing the job early and on budget. We were going to do the carpeting for bedrooms and tile in Kitchen but after aeeing how great work he did, we decided to ask hi to do ASAP. New carpet and additional granite will be here within a week. In another week all of our updated fooring will be done and am sure ALL will be beautiful! They also were diligent in keeping areas cleam and picked everything up at end of day. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM to anyone!!! Great owner and staff!

These guys are really busy but worth the wait. Matt did all the work and he's a Rock Star. Laid a very substantial sub floor got rid of all the creaks. Not only laid an excellent floor but paid attention to finishing all the small details like the trim and clean up.

The orocess was very smooth. Jack's team (Matt and Z) did an excellent job, and were friendly and easy to work with. The work was done within the time frame specified and completed in a highly professional manner.
