The finished job looks great, and the repairs (which included removing broken asphalt, preparing the underlying surface, adding a new fresh layer of asphalt in those sections, and then rolling them flat) should keep my driveway serviceable for many years to come. I had the feeling that he cared very much about making me happy with the price and quality of his work, and I am. We had a miscommunication about when the job would be done, and he actually ended up coming before I expected him.

It's taken years for the five neighbors who share a road to agree to have it fixed. We finally got together, one neighbor volunteered to manage the process, and we got three estimates. J. Stewart Paving had the best estimate and also agreed to work around the storm drains. We choose him based not only on the estimate but on the Angie's List reviews. They showed up on time, finished on time, and had a very polite cordial crew. Road looks great (we should have done this years ago). We're all very pleased.

I am extremely pleased with the work of J. Stewart Paving. George Stewart came to my house (within two days of calling for an appointment). He reviewed the scope of the job and then gave me an estimate on the spot. His estimate was extremely competitive to other well-known paving companies in the area, so after checking with people who have used Stewart, I awarded him the contract. He scheduled me for the work within three weeks of the call and was at my house with his crew of 5 guys at 8:30am on the morning of the job. Everything went exactly as planned. His guys dug up where I expected (and where they told me they needed to dig), they expanded the driveway with my input, and then they did an outstanding job putting down the new 2" surface, using all of the modern equipment designed for asphalt work. His foreman was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, and the other members of the team worked hard and were also very good men. They did a thorough job cleaning up any stray pieces of asphalt and stone, washed the walk near the house which had been covered with dust, and left the driveway and other areas of my property looking perfect. As is Stewart's custom, I was not required to give him any deposit for the work in advance. He only requested payment in full after my wife and I were totally satisfied with the job. I highly recommend George Stewart and J. Stewart Paving for resurfacing residential asphalt driveways.

It went very well after we made contact he said he would come out the same day and do the job. He did and as he said it was dry within 24 hours. The Job is done to our satisfaction.

They did a fantastic job from start to start to finish. When getting a bid they explained what they were going to do, and addressed all my questions and concerns. On the day of the job the men worked hard and efficiently from the moment they arrived until the job was done. I never once saw them take a collective lingering break as seems to be the norm nowadays. I actually enjoyed watching them work. They were like a finely tuned machine. When it is time to top coat my newly surfaced driveway, I will definitely be using J. Stewart Paving. They are a family (3rd generation) owned and operated business, and their employees are all long term. I they are experienced with what they do and it shows in the quality of their work.

Beautiful. He did a beautiful job. It went through this past winter and we had no problems.

The whole family was excellent to deal with. The crew did an amazing job. We had one minor issue not directly related to the driveway and George helped take care of the situation and made everything right. Everyone that we dealt with cared about our happiness and went above and beyond to make sure that we were satisfied customers. They got the work done in 1 day. They sloped the top of the driveway along the front of the house to keep rainwater from running down the driveway. They also sloped it along the sides. They did a good job with grading the driveway which I appreciated. They did a really good job overall.

I would love to be able to give this contractor a good review, but my phone call requesting an appointment for an estimate was never returned. I guess they are flush with business and don't need mine...

You want these guys. I love my new driveway, love it. love it, love it, love it! Old driveway had at least 4 different major issues. They fixed them all and at a very competitive price. Main probelm was slant towards garage, not away from it. They regraded it in four different areas and its perfect. Each team member knows their own role and they do it in concert perfectly. When using the heavy noisy equipment, they communicate with hand signals, whistles, simple shouts, etc. like a Driveway Swat Team. Its fun to watch. Not one, not two, but at least three of them at different times checked the alignment and slant of the driveway to make sure it was perfect. They did a water run-off test before they left. Thunderstorms are a pleasure to watch now. They seem to operate a bit on Caribbean time but they eventually come. They didn't rush off to the next job (all contractors seem to do) until it was really done and you are satisfied (they didn't skimp on the roller machine at the end of the job). If they try and push you into a day or time frame thats not good for you, stand your ground and they will accommodate (They are just trying to move their equipment from job to job efficiently). They really are nice people. The owner comes and checks out the job before you signoff.

J Steward Paving was working in the neighborhood. Our driveway was in terrible shape and really needed repaving. I caught up with Jack from J Stewart Paving....super nice guy..... We discussed what could be done and the cost. I wasn't looking to have the driveway paved at this time, but couldn't resist the price I was given. The work was completed as schedule in one day. The driveway looks beautiful. The entire crew is very courteous and hard working. I have no complaints what so ever about this company. Everything was cleaned up nicely. I would definitely recommend this paving company to anyone looking to have paving done. Thanks J Stewart!

A Stewart Paving was working in our neighborhood on a driveway up the street at another neighbors house. The neighbor across the street from us got an estimate, checked them out and had his driveway done. He was extremely happy with the work. After that, a polite young man came to our door and asked if we would like an estimate to have our driveway redone. The estimate was good, we had the work done and they were the best we have ever had. Our particular driveway slopes down into the garage and water was always running into it. Problem fixed. Work was done on time and the job was terrific. We give them a AAA+ rating.

We are thinking about using them but we haven't decided yet. They were very nice and very helpful. They explained everything they would do so we were satisfied. Everything was perfect with them.

THEY DID THEIR UTMOST EFFORT TO PLEASE THE CUSTOMER. JOHN STEWART PAVING COMPANY'S WORK IS EXCELLENT AND CAUSED OTHERS NEIGHBORS TO CONTRACT THEIR SERVICE.
