Mr. Stewart came to give me an estimate in the time frame he quoted me, he was very nice, and told me exactly what they would do. I asked if they could widen the drive as well, he said no problem, and it did not cost any more money. When they came to do the job, they were tight on time, and they finished very quickly, I asked to make it a little wider than originally discussed, the foreman called the boss, and was told to do whatever I wanted. I was very very pleased with everything they did, I recommended them to some family and friends, they were also very happy with the work they did!!

There was a very minor misunderstanding in the beginning, but was quickly resolved by the owner. Proving that J Stewart Paving is committed to the care of their customers. The employees that performed the work took the time to make sure work was done to our satisfaction.

We hired J Stewart Paving to repave our driveway and couldn't be happier with that choice. George Stewart responded within hours of our initial email request with a phone call and arranged to come out to our house. He gave us a very detailed and comprehensive estimate for the work the same day as the site visit. We accepted the proposal and scheduled the work right away. George and his crew showed up on time and ready to work. Each member of the crew was professional and had a great attitude. They answered questions when asked and clearly took pride in the work they were doing. They completed the work ahead of time and it looks fantastic. We would highly recommend J Stewart Paving for future projects and intend to use them to redo our garage floor next year.

The service was very good. There was quite a long delay in getting it done, but this seems because a copy of the work order had not been sent to the main office. Nonetheless, we were pleased with their work.

After doing a lot of research on pavers in the area, I decided to follow through with J Stewart paving after seeing many good reviews. Isaac came out to our location in Bryn Mawr a number of times to clearly discuss what type of work needed to be done and was very knowledgeable about the process. Our particular lot was in bad shape from years of poor sealing/paving but we did not want to do an entire re-paving as that can become costly. J Stewart worked with us to identify the problem areas and actually cut out all the bad areas and repaving instead of an entire uprooting which saved us thousands of dollars. Not to mention clearing out all weeds and debris and going the extra mile to make everything as neat as possible. The entire process was very friendly and professional, and I felt no hesitation to ask questions and bring up any concerns I had along the way. They were able to clearly explain the details of the job so that I never felt unsure about the price or that I was being ripped off. Being a commercial property, there was a lot of scheduling and coordination to be done with tenants and neighbors, and J Stewart was very understanding and had no problem working around our conditions. I would highly recommend their services to anybody looking for a big or small job. They are kind, Family run (which is important to us), and very fair and easy to work with. The entire process took just 1 day and they were able work very early to not disturb our tenants. Thank you very much!

Contacted this company specifically because of great reviews on Angie's List. I contacted by e-mail initially, received a return phone call on 9/8. Waited over a week for an estimate - scheduled for 9/17 at 10:00. Did not show or call. Guess they have enough business.

The Stewart brothers from J. Stewart Paving just gave me a beautiful new asphalt driveway. They have done a number of driveways in our neighborhood so it was easy to assess the quality of their work before we hired them. They are very easy to work with and the brothers are readily available by cell phone. Both adults in our household work during the day and it we often have difficulty getting estimates from contractors. We were not seeking any significant changes to the configuration of the driveway so J. Stewart came while we were at work and left an estimate the next day. They did want to meet me before they started the job. I met with one of the brothers before leaving for work. We talked through some oddities of our property and how they might improve the drainage. (This is untested as it hasn?t rained). The driveway looks beautiful and we would certainly recommend J. Stewart Paving to a friend.

The driveway work was excellent. It was suppose to be for 2 1/2 inches. But I think it is more like 4 inches. I would recommend them to anyone. The work was great and the workers were great too.

George Stewart responded quickly to our request for an estimate. He and his crew were professional and courteous. The driveway was long overdue for repaving. It had tire groves so there were high spots and low areas were asphalt had worn away. They leveled and edged it beautifully. The crew worked hard and very well together. The finished product will definitely improve the value of the property.

J. Stewart was very timely in their response, provided an extremely competitive estimate and finished the job as agreed upon in a courteous fashion

They appleid 2.5 inches of new asphalt over the old driveway. They removed a high spot where the driveway comes off the street and they also leveled out a spot where the driveway enters the garage. They gave us instructions in regard to how long we should allow the asphalt to set up prior to driving on it and also what we could do to preserve the driveway in the future. The crew was extremely thorough and worked very well together.

Other than missing the initial appointment, which they went out of their way to apologize for... everything went very very well.... Their team of supervisors and workers did a great job and were very professional and cleaned up very well... even going out of their way to make sure our electric dog fence that crosses the drive way was nicely buried and supported in gravel and putting in extra fill ...

The driveway was beyond its service life and had potholes that went all the way through the wear and base coats of asphalt, as well as having multiple sections that had been cut out to run utility services. We had originally picked another company to resurface the driveway, but they were unable to fit us in by the end of the season. They recommended J Stewart to us. George Stewart came to our house Saturday morning to provide us a free estimate, which he split into three portions (shared, and two individual drives) We mailed in our signed contracts on Monday and they had us scheduled within two weeks. They arrived the day before they were scheduled to lay the asphalt in order to due all the surface prep and edging. On the scheduled day, they patched all of the pot holes, rolled and compacted courses of asphalt down the low areas of the driveway, and then laid a finish course over the entire driveway leaving us with a smooth, beautiful surface.

We found out about J Stewart Paving through Nextdoor. The company has served a dozen or so of my neighbors and the work has been superb. The team removed everything from my garage, including taking down an old rotted shelf, put down stone, and paved the inside of what was a dirt garage and repaved my entire driveway (quite long). The owner was great, completely willing to do whatever I asked, and got the job done quickly. We debated getting the job done for months and had multiple other bids. Could not be more pleased with our choice to go with J Stewart Paving.

Everything was done well. They even burned off lawn that was overlapping the edge of the driveway so that the driveway could be coated neatly.

They did what they promised with no fuss. The site supervisor was nice and cooperative. The driveway looks great. Time will tell on the durability.

Everything was done as expected. They came on the day and at the time scheduled, did the work and left everything in order. I did not have to do any cleanup after them.

Crew was friendly and professional, showed up when promised. Large driveway on a hill. George evaluated driveway and drainage issues, driveway was pitched the wrong way due to prior settlements. Crew removed hill in drive and pitched the driveway away from house and garage. Water flows the way its supposed to. Job looks great and price was right. Would recommend them to anyone.
