 + 1 moreI wasn't too happy with the installation of the washer. He said I had to drill holes in the fiberglass tub, but I wasn't comfortable doing that. I called the company and they sent him back out to drill the holes for me. But, that was the only issue I ever had with them. The salespeople are all very nice and worked well with me. They are reasonably priced and are pretty responsive.
Description of Work: I have used them several times. I bought a new washer from them. They have also repaired my microwave and my stove.

 + -1 moreThey were professional and accommodating from the minute I phoned them until the the service call and the outcome of the visit.
Description of Work: I was leaving for vacation the next morning and needed immediate service within a small window of time. I called 5 companies from Angie's list and D & K were the only ones who could accommodate me. They were punctual and professional. It ended up that my issue had to do with a problem common to my type of front loading washer that I was not aware of. The service man completely checked over my washer to make sure that there was not another problem and then explained the issue and told me how to rectify it. I was only charged for the service visit but it was well worth it. I will definitely call them in the future if I need an appliance repair service.

 + 0 moreI purchased all my appliances from them; so I had them do the repair. The company I used before, I think they ran out of business. They came out and were prompt. They diagnosed the problem very quickly and gave a reasonable estimate and price. They work was done quickly. I bought my stove, my refrigerator, and my washer and dryer, over the past 8 or 9 years. They've provided great customer service and fast delivery. Their prices are reasonable and comparable to the big brands. They also have a good selection of different appliances. The guy who came out to repair the appliance was quick and diagnosed it within a couple of seconds. He had the part and was able to replace it right then and there.
Description of Work: I used D & K Appliance Sales & Service for appliance repair 8 months ago, because my washer was messed up which I had bought from them, 8 years ago.

 + -1 moreThe range is holding up good but we are having a little problem with the temperature setting of the oven. We have to call them. We went by all the instruction in the booklet. We would probably call them. We have been here for 26 years now and in 26 years we have bought just from D and K a dishwasher from them which they came and installed. We got 2 refrigerators two or three washers, two dryers, two freezers, a micro wave, and the range. So if they were not good I think we would have found somewhere else to go. Price wise we have compared their pricing and based on the advertisements and all that, they were within our range. Once we take care of the temperature setting of the range then I would say quality wise they are excellent. Punctuality wise they called the day before and told us approximately what time they would be here and they called an hour before they came. They were very professional both in the store as well as their delivery people. Since we have bought this far from them we would definitely go back.
Description of Work: Probably some time in September we bought a range from D & K Appliance Sales & Svc. I spent $ 500 or $600 on it.

 + -1 moreKnowledgeable salesman, Dan McIntyre, quickly assisted me in purchasing a front-loading washer (and dryer) that would fit down my basement stairs (barely 27' wide). I was fortunate that the narrowest one they carry happens to be a "Consumer Report Best Buy" (Bosch). Dan also arranged for their best installation team to handle the job. The two-man team arrived on time and quickly and competently squeezed both appliances down the stairs without marring them.
Description of Work: Purchased and installed Bosch brand front-loading washer and dryer.

The prices were somewhat comparable with others although they were the lowest price for installation for the particular disposal I was interested in. I arranged for the installer to come when I was at work and our nanny was at the house. All work was done well, on time, as promised.
