This was excellent. I have been working with him for years, I like him because he owns the company and he is the person who comes out. He has done chimney sweep work for us a few times, and sometimes he cleans out the dryer for us.

It went perfect. He was able to do the work in a reasonable amount of time. He was helpful with other information. He clean up very well after himself.

Outstanding. Very professional and knowledgeable. I had just moved into my house and hired Justin Thyme to clean the 2 wood burning fireplaces. Jack carefully examined both and, to my surprise, told me that one didn't need to be cleaned. I also asked him to check a leak around one of them. He explained the leak was most likely the result of a faulty attic vent near the fireplace and probably not my fireplace flashing. He gave me his personal recommendation on a roofer and finished up with some great advice. Bottom line, he could have easily charged me $400 and I wouldn't have known the difference. He did the right thing and only gave me what I needed. I respect that. I wish all contractors were that way. I will definitely hire him again.

My mother has been using Jack Savin for years and been very happy with his work. He came and cleaned my chimney in my living room and cleaned up very well afterwards, you never would have known he was there. Most importantly, he did a very thorough inspection of the chimney. We just bought the house in Feb and the man who did the home inspection at the time of purchase said there would be "no problem" having a fire. I'm so glad Jack checked it out because it turns out that the chimney is seriously damaged and would be a big safety risk. Jack explained the problem thoroughly and gave me all the options I have to fix the problem, ranging from expensive to economical. I'm going to have him return to repair and cap the chimney soon. He was very nice, explained things well and very honest. I highly recommend him to anyone.
