The folks were competent, understood what they were doing and took the time to explain a lot of things as they worked. There was some confusion as they said that they would not use the camera snake to look at the chimney without an additional charge and I was under the impression that the $125 covered this as well as the cleaning, that could have been made more clear over the phone. Overall, I was impressed with them.

"Justin/John" is an absolute professional. He is courteous, friendly, personable, and excellent at what he does. His is truly last of the great chimney sweeps out there. Hire him with confidence and don't hire the fly-by-night folks who have special cleaning deals. They will not clean and inspect as well as he does. I have confidence in his work.

Very friendly, punctual, and professional. Offered a lot of information to me about the condition of my chimney as it is in a home we recently purchased and was the first time I had it swept. This was a first time experience with Master Sweep Jack Savin as my previous Chimney Sweep service no longer services my area (Harford County, Maryland). He was experienced, knowledgeable and I felt just as comfortable with his services as I did my previous sweep. He is fully licensed and bonded and insured. Jack arrived on time. Was very professional and described everything he was going to do. Did not rush the job. Put the pellet stove back in place after sliding it out to clean. All in all a great job.

It was my first chimney sweep, so I didn't really know what to expect. Jack arrived on time, worked neatly and explained everything clearly. It took about an hour and I found him very professional with an abundance of knowledge that he willingly passed on to me. He also recommended the time frame based on his assessment of our usage of how often we would need a sweep. As an added bonus, my puppy loved him! He is sweeping 2 other houses in my neighborhood this month and I would definitely recommend him to others.

Jack Savin did an excellent job. Fully explained what he was doing. Corrected the angle of the piping from the furnace which had been causing soot to spill on the floor. Perfect cleanup. I was extremely pleased and would highly recommend him.

When I called for information the person I spoke to was quite rude and condecending. She could not give me an estimate and there was no one available to, so they needed to call me back. , I waited almost a full day for a call back and when I did speak to someone else, he could not have seemed any less interested in obtaining my business. Wouldn't give me an approximate cost for a inspection and was unable to fit me into his busy schedule. I went with someone else who was kind and able to work with me to get my inspection done.

Justin Thyme chimney sweep was prompt and got right to work. The work did not take long and the chimney top looks great.The work he was doing was explained and all questions answered. This work was suggested on previous visit to clean chimney and we were glad they let us know we needed the work to prevent the top of the chimney from falling apart. Very pleased with their service and they did a great job of cleaning up after the job.

The provider set up a service date and time and was punctual and ready to work immediately. He told us the work that he would perform, before starting, and gave us an update once he had finished. He gave us a detailed list of what he observed and made recommendations on work that needed to be performed in the future. We were very happy with the results and shall use his services again in the future. We have also recommended his company to all our friends.

Appointment was easy to set up and he arrived on time and got to work promptly. Was careful about spreading cover etc to protect interior. Upon completion he discussed the condition of the chimney, and answered questions. One thing he pointed out that I had not realized is that the reason the pipe has so much ugly surface rust is that it was installed upside down: that is, the joints are inverted, so moisture/condensation runs down the outside instead of the interior, and we discussed some options I might have for improving the appearance (the pipe is exposed, in the living room). He was quite knowledgeable and willing to discuss issues. When he left everything was neat and clean. I would hire him again.
