Everything went well. First class work! Everything went as expected, they were clean and neat in appearance and did excellent work.

Our repairman was on time as scheduled and was very efficient and friendly. After his inspection he gave us specific details on what he found and what was in need of repair. He explained this in detail and provided pictures of the problem areas.

Estimator came to the house where my wife and I had to be their together, they insisted on that. Sat with the guy for about 45 minutes discussing the project. He said he would be back with a quote after he pulled a report from some satellite estimating tool. He never call or sent a proposal. We call the office 2 week latter and spoke to the woman in the office. She said the estimator would call us with 24 hours. That never happened. It's better I learned of the unprofessional manor in which they conduct their business in the beginning of the process as opposed to in the middle of the project. I can only imagine what kind of clowns would have shown up to do the work.

The gutter cleaning was fantastic, but the roof repair estimate was too high for us. We ended up hiring someone else. The company is very impressive, yet a bit expensive. I appreciated the honesty and the great job he did on cleaning the gutters. He even blew my driveway when he was done.

I called them because they had done good work for me in the past. They're honest and forthright and have a standardized method of evaluation. They're up on the roof and show you where there may or may not be a problem. They also have a standard pricing format, where they check off the things that are needed done and what it will cost. It's not a guesstimate. It's very impressive. It's an unusual approach to getting an estimate. When they did the roofing for me in the past, I knew exactly what it was going to cost and what they were going to do.

All went well. The gutters were cleaned and I was pleased with the fact that I received a visual rendition of the roof issue which showed the overall condition as good with two obvious areas which required some attention. I okayed proceeding to do that job.

I was given Zimmerman's name through another contractor and not through Angie's List. Usually, I go through Angie's List to find contractors, and not by personal referrals. Zimmerman's actually turned out to be on Angie's List, anyway, so I was able to look at reviews for this company, which are favorable, although some of the more recent grades are not. That would have been enough to give me pause had I heard of this company without the personal referral. Although Zimmerman's didn't do any work for me, I still feel it is important to review this company at the customer service level especially when they don't know their right foot from their left. For example, I was initially told that they would send someone out to give me an assessment of my roof and make any necessary repairs at that time. The very next day I'm told that they don't do repairs in my area, (York Township) only roof replacements. So they wasted two days of my time; time that I could have used to find a roofer who does do repairs. Now, I'm not an expert in the roofing field, but logically speaking, it is my opinion that repairs(barring shoddy roof repair) should lead to more roof replacements down the line!

It went very well. They showed up on time and ready to work. They had a little problem with a part of the roof and the flashing and they stayed until the job was completed. I know it was a very long day for them.

Job went as expected. Followed up each day with progress and continuing info on the job. All old materials cleaned up and removed.

They were great. The roof was done in a day. The soffit the next day. Minimal mess - especially considering the job was right after a major rain storm. The price was slightly higher than other providers, but it was well with it, considering the huge difference in client service and professionalism.

Nothing was done because I couldn't negotiate a free quote unless my whole roof was done. Seems like they are chasing the larger projects and the higher costs associated with them.

I didn't use them there are plenty of companies who will provide a quote without charging you.

Due to the bad winter it took a while to get them out to do the work but that was no fault of the company. They always would reschedule and once they finally did get out they did a great job to clean up my gutters and inform me of a few minor issues I had. If I ever decide to get them fixed they would definitely be on my list of places to get work done by!

I got a gutter-cleaning special through Angie's List. Provider scheduled an appointment, arrived on time. Technician was friendly, polite, asked questions about my expectations. I showed him some areas of concern (roof leaks). He then conducted an inspection of my roof, including in my attic, taking approximately 1-1/2 hours. He checked my gutters as well. He then sat down with me to review his findings, including a number of photos of issues he found (both in my attic and on the roof). He provided a quote for all the repairs needed, and advised that a new roof would be needed within a few years even if repairs were done. I indicated I wanted to get a price for a new roof (he arranged for someone to contact me for an appointment). He also advised he could not clean my gutters that day, as they were still frozen. Note the Angie's List deal only included a limited amount of gutters (which my house exceeds). He did not charge the overage, as he indicated my gutters weren't that bad and only needed cleanout in a few places. Zimmerman's did then contact me for a appointment to provide a price for a new roof (that's another story, but I was also very pleased with the Salesman and follow-up information he provided). I will decide soon whether to proceed with repairs or a new roof. I would recommend Zimmerman's for their roofing services.

They were on time and very professional services, overall there aren't any trees around so wasn't really much work on gutter but he found a leak in roof which will cost $3k +

The job went great. The roofer communicated well before the job in making a plan to come. We had to cancel a couple times due to rain but that was no problem for me. Finally the timing worked out and the work was done. The right size crew showed up early, got right to work, and did a good looking job. They were well mannered and professional. They arrived having all the materials and tools required, and when complete, removed all roofing spoils. Having been in construction supervision for 30 plus years, I am not the easiest person to please. Could not be happier with the results.

\DON'T HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!! They seem great at first, sending out your typical business guy, Jeremy McKinney, blowing smoke and claiming to be far more superior than ANY other roofer around for the price. HAHA. It's a shame we got sucked into this company. We regret it everyday. After the first day of construction, we went into a yard that had smashed shrubs, nails and staples everywhere. We were reassured they would clean up daily. They knew we had dogs so I wanted them to be extra sure they got at least the majority of them. We then realized in the middle of the night, that would be the least of our problems. We were awoken by water leaking in numerous areas of the house. There was water leaking from light fixtures, through the ceiling and out of window seals. After that, we found out they used sub contractors, not all the workers were employed by Zimmerman's, which Jeremy repeated several times, that they do not hire sub contractors. He actually had the nerve to slander the Amish roofers and how they do things to save costs, basically saying they weren't good enough to hire. I know several people who hired Amish and had far fewer problems. We had to have restoration people here for months due to the $8,000 worth of damage. I would seriously recommend hiring another roofing company who undoubtedly takes pride in their work, doing a better job and costs far less.

The service was good and he worked for a good hour. He was very congenial and really listened to what we wanted done. He also ensured we were pleased with what he did. He did have to use our ladder to complete the work but he put it back where it needed to go. He was on time and he gave us an estimate while he was there for any further work that we might be interested in. including the gutter guards we asked about. We scheduled the deal over the internet with no problems and he complied with everything that needed done.

I bought a house with a slate roof. They did thorough inspection, gave written estimates. I have never dealt with roofing issues before and did not get other estimates, so I can't really comment on whether the cost was unusually high or low. They replaced the flashing around some windows and some other repairs. Professional, courteous.

Zimmerman has a good reputation and came highly recommended. When I called them (among two others) for an estimate they informed me that they charge $87.00 to come out and prepare an estimate. I've dealt with several good roofers before and none of them charged to give an estimate. I won't be using Zimmerman no matter how highly recommended!

They put on a new roof for a modular home. They gave us a very good price with discount from clipper magazine. If you have a modular home I would remind them to place the shingles instead of dropping them because on a modular roof there is very little space between the roof and the ceiling and it shakes the house. But over all we are very happy with their service and we would recommend them. I also heard they have a great warranty but of course haven't had to use it.

I purchased this deal back in May, but only recently scheduled an appointment. Brian arrived on time. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable. First he checked the attic space for leaks and signs of deterioration from the inside, then he tackled the outside. He cleaned the gutters and even did some minor repairs along the way. I was surprised to even get to see before and after pictures -what a difference! After a thorough examination of the roof he made some very good recommendations and offered several options on how to proceed. Again, he took pictures so I really appreciated being able to see what he was talking about. He thoroughly explained the pricing for all the recommendations and put everything in writing in an easy to understand format. There was no sales pressure whatsoever and he left me with a comprehensive packet of information. I like the company philosophy and their no nonsense approach, I will be scheduling the work with them in the near future. Thank you Brian for doing such a good job, it is very much appreciated!
