The overall experience was excellent. We couldn't contact our usual company and needed more than a "name from a phone book". The furnace had been out all day and the house was pretty cold. It was really helpful to locate someone in our area that was well recommended. The repairman indicated he would be there within 30 minutes and right on time. He quickly repaired the pilot light and did a quick cleaning. The price of the repair was excellent for the service and the quick response.

Late on one of the colder days of the year, we noticed that the temperature in the house was dropping and none of the radiators were radiating heat. We called Accurate Heating and Air Conditioning and explained the problem. The woman who answered the phone asked whether we wanted someone to come out that evening or the next day. After we indicated that we needed someone that evening, the Accurate representative said she would arrange for someone to come out to the house and either her or a technician would call us back. Within about 15 minutes we had a call back from the technician who said it would take him about 20 to 30 minutes to get to the house. He arrived in about 20 minutes and began to troubleshoot the problem. It took him a little while to figure out the system but within 1-1/2 hours our furnace was back up and running. While we did not consider the cost excessive for an emergency call, the cost was not discussed beforehand, which in retrospect would have been preferable. Bottom line: a quick response to our call and a timely resolution of our problem at a reasonable cost.

They gave me the best estimate and then got me an even better deal on a furnace. They put it in immediately which was much appreciated. I recommend them highly.

We've used Accurate Heating and AC for two years and they remain absolutely awesome. Usually they're out once a year for the annual heating and a/c inspection. That always goes well. Responsive, cover their feet, good price, efficient. This year we also had them insulate outside ductwork for a roof-top heating and cooling unit. As usual, they were professional and came in at a reasonable price. They actually had to come back several times because of the weather. They were always excellent in keeping me informed and updated as to the process and were able to work within my schedule. Today, Brandon came out because on Wednesday we smelled burning coming from the furnace and had to turn it off. Technically, this should have been a day off for him. Instead, out he came, he found burned out wiring which he replaced, and then he was on his way. No OT charges or anything else. Just the usual excellent service at a great price. I cannot say enough about how much I appreciate the professionalism and overall responsiveness of this organization. They're amazing and I've recommended them to many folks and will continue to do so. I continue to highly recommend this company. Keep up the great work!

I want to update my experience. My AC died. I got 5 estimates to replace it from large and small firms. All bids were very similar in price. I went with Accurate. I just really trusted Brandon. He and John did an excellent thorough job. I even asked for a little something requiring extra work. NO problem. They readily said sure !!. They were very professional and friendly. And I got the top rated unit (on line references" that I wanted. Good People !!

I was given a 2 hour window. The serviceman called in the last 10 minutes of that window to say he was about 20 minutes or so away. He needed general directions. Upon arrival he asked where the outside unit was and asked me to open the garage so he'd have access. He went to work, occasionally asking me about something. I let him do his work. I saw him cleaning the a/c unit outside, checking internal temp, inspecting items, and adding freon. In the end the service was performed in just under an hour.

We have always used them. We have three units and we spent $160. The last time we used them was for the tuning up, to change filters and one of the drains was clogged for the drip water. Their professionalism and punctuality is good. We would rate them highly and would continue to use them in the future.

MY A/C quit cooling during the heat wave. Called a LARGE competitor that I had used before. Their estimate was higher and they could not come for 2 weeks. I called Accurate, late in the afternoon. They were ought at 8am next morning as promised. Brandon, the Tech, was courteous, professional, and skilled. He told me exactly what he was going to do, did it, and was done in 20 minutes. And for less than the other company quoted. THIS COMPANY IS GREAT, and deserves the Angie's List Rating......which is why I picked them !!

My furnace stopped working and it was determined by another company that the circuit board was bad. They gave a price of $800 to replace it and that it would take several days to find the part. Accurate returned my call promptly, found the part the same day for under $250 and the furnace was working within 30 minutes.

Had a problem with the exhaust pipe from my furnace leaking water and dripping on the floor. Called yesterday and they returned my call within 10 minutes and scheduled an appointment for this morning. Arrived when they said they would, took a look, gave me an estimate and completed the work this afternoon for the amount they said. The repairman was polite and neat, cleaned up and let me know about another issue which I should be aware of.

John is efficient and friendly, always gets the job done quickly.

I've been using Accurate for about 5 years now. They've installed furnaces and AC in my house and 3 rentals that I've owned. They've also serviced my furnaces and made emergency calls to repair the older furnaces when they were not working.

Very responsive on the phone and provided a honest assessment.

My furnace wasn't working - it would turn on, but no heat was blowing through. I called in the afternoon - a service man came over after 5:00pm and determined the problem, ordered a part and manually put the blower on hold in order for the house to be heated overnight. The next morning he came back with the part, installed it and it's been working perfectly since. The thing I appreciated most is that, not knowing how old or efficient the furnace is (having purchased the house recently), I could have been pressured into buying a new system. Instead he gave me an honest assessment of age (10-12 years) and efficiency (90%) and said it was definitley worth repair rather than replacement. I will definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

They were quick to respond to a call on a Saturday monring. The serviceman showed up an hour after the call and fixed the furnace within 15 minutes. My husband and I were very pleased with their excellent service and would definiteky use them again in the future

Went great. My first criterion was a very high-quality furnace, which the American Standard is. When my old furnace went bad, I received a replacement offer from the (different) company who was doing the work. Then I got 3 more estimates, including one from Accurate. They didn't have the lowest price (which is why I rated them 'B' for price) but they had the best product -- and I didn't find a lower price for a top-quality furnace -- and I trusted them. I got the furnace with a 10-year guarantee. I hope they'll be able to service this furnace and still be around whenever I should need a new one. John, who does the installation and maintenance work, is great to work with -- professional, honest and pleasant . Mary on the administrative side is great too. I haven't had any problems since installation but I ask John to come every fall for preventive maintenance.

Great service. They showed up when they said they would. Cleaned up and were professional the whole way through. We have used ac people several times for our rental properties, and I think we found a great source for ac work. I was also glad that they were able to fit in a small job during their busy season.

My husband and I are very pleased with Accurate Heating & Cooling. We first had a company from the local yellow pages come by to the house and gave us an outlandish estimate. We dumped them quickly. Accurate Heating & Cooling came to our rescue. Mary Beth the secretary, was extremely helpful, even by giving us tips over the phone on how to get the a/c unit started. The company was also recommended by family members from past work that they have done, and by the listing from Angie's List. Their coupon was a nice treat.

Everything has gone very well. They did a good job, and their price was reasonable. I have been very happy and will continue to use them.

He came over and did a little cleaning on the system and he determined it was working fine. We will absolutely use him again--he is the only one we will use.

It went fairly well. It was economical and reasonably priced. The finishing work could have been more precise and they could have paid more attention to detail in terms of the ducting and ceiling of the system. However, I was happy with them overall.
