Description of Work: I contacted the company via email to arrange for an appointment, since they weren't able to accommodate my original recommended dates. I found out via responding email that they had already done the gutter cleaning. My tenants had to confirm that they were actually there, but could not confirm what was done. I tried to contact the company but received no answer. I had expected to discuss the shape of my gutters, downspouts, sofits and facia with them while they cleaned the gutters- it was a part of the package- but was unable to do so, and now I have more leakage than ever before.

Description of Work: Cleaning downspouts and roof areas. Emailed and called several times before an appointment was scheduled. Asked to be notified before they came so I could be present and show them which areas needed to be done. They called when they arrived and quoted a much higher price to clean areas that I did not want done. I explained the three (small) areas that needed to be done; all included in the price. When I returned home, I found that only two of the three areas had been done and the roof debris had been discarded at the back of my yard instead of being removed from the site. I did not attempt to contact the company again.

Description of Work: They came to the house to clean out the gutters and the downspouts and to check for repairs. They also ended up putting in Safeguard gutter screens. They were all very polite and very professional. The only reason I gave them a B on the price was because I really wasn't expecting them to be able to put the guards on that day. So I really hadn't had a chance to do comparison shopping, but since they were there to do it, I just went ahead and had it done.

Description of Work: They did a good job cleaning the gutters, however, did not fix gutter leak which was specifically requested. Claimed that they had fixed it during the initial gutter cleaning, but as soon as it rained, the gutter leaked. I called and they came back again to fix, claimed it was repaired, and then immediately leaked again after it rained.

Description of Work: My daughter had taken the day before off work so she could be there. But, they didn't show up. They were able to come the next day. We were not able to be there the whole time the next day. I asked them to take a look at a corner of the roof while they were cleaning the gutters (I thought the roof might have a leak). Because we had to leave, I assume they cleaned the gutters and looked at the roof. We called later to ask if they saw any issues, but they never returned the call. They still have not responded.

+ -1 moreDave and his business - #1 Gutter Guys - did an excellent job in replacing my old gutters with new ones and installing gutter guards. Additionally, Dave went the extra mile by taking the initiative to repair loose shingles that he he noticed on my roof. I was unaware of the damage, Dave saw the damage and made the repair for free. I was very appreciative of that. In his video, he appears as very honest and straightforward. And that is how he is in real life too. He arrived when he said he would, he accurately measured to prepare his estimate, showed the material for the gutter guard and how it would be installed, gave a clear explanation as to how and when the work would happen, and gave a straighforward price without a hidden aganda or hidden costs. It was a very fair price and the work was of quality. The whole experience was straightforward and honest and I did not feel like I was being dragged around. I wish all things were like that when it came to house repairs. I would not hesitate to call upon Dave again. I recommend Dave for gutter repalcement and guards without hesitation.
