#1 Gutter Guys

Had them come out for a quote to just re-pitch front and back gutters and re-route back gutter. They advised of a better and more efficient solution using a new gutter in the back and re-pitched the front gutter since we bought a new back gutter. Scheduling for quote and work was easy and efficient. Friendly and professional staff. Showed up on time for both estimates and work. They did a good job cleaning up after their work as well. With all the rain we have had this year and since having the work done no issues with backups or overflows.

I tried to call for a quote and got a voicemail box that was full and hung up on me. I searched the web for another number and got a voicemail box that was not set up and hung up on me. This type of response (or non-response) leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and even though the poor reviews are limited here, it seems to align with their experiences of not receiving good communication or follow up.

I was very satisfied with the work and the difference it made was even better than I expected. They showed me a photo of how it would look but seeing is believing and they made a believer out of me.

Very well & came back quickly to clean out & change front guards

Had gutters installed on 4/10/17. It rained four days after installation and the patio gutter was leaking. I called Dave and left message about the leak--No response. I called and left messages the next few days and finally after my fifth day of messaging, I finally received a return call. Dave said they had work in my area and would stop the next day. They did not show the next day, or the next, and on the third no-show day, I called and left another message--again, with no response. The gutter is still leaking and I'm still waiting for someone to show up to fix it. I understand Dave has another full time job and trying to run the business via phone calls (that he doesn't respond to) just isn't working and there is no one to provide proper customer service. He is supposedly trying to turn the business over to his son--but right now, I'm still waiting for a reply about the leaking gutter they installed last month. If no response is received within a few days, this review will be continued...

The team of 3 were hard workers, very organized and time effencient. Before They left the area was clean. There were no nails or dirt left behind. Two days later we had 1.50 inches of rain, no leaks nor did we have any water on the basement floor from the runoff from the old gutters. I would highly recommend #1 Gutter Guys.

Dave & the gutter guys were very responsive and professional. They did a great job as everything looks very good and they improvised in a certain area to make sure it was done right. Very happy with the job done.

Couldn't have been easier. in less than a week, I called about the gutters and they were cut and dropped at my home. To accommodate my schedule, Dave completed work on a Saturday. Couldn't have been and nicer to work with. Would recommend to anyone needing new gutters.

I reviewed #1 Gutter Guys in August when I assumed they had done the job and gave them a B rating. They left a receipt in the front door and a garbage bag with a few handfuls of leaf debris on the front lawn. I had no way of telling if they did the gutter and downspout in the back of the house until today when I notices sheets of water spilling over the gutter during a medium rain fall. After the rain stopped I was able to see water standing in the gutter without moving. This is the first time I've had a clear view of the gutter since #1 Gutter Guys did the job because there has been an air conditioner in the window blocking the view until now. So now I'm back to square one with the original problem that I had last spring. Wasted time and money for me. I hated not being able to be there while they did their work. I originally asked that they call me when they were there or supply photos and was told no. How could I ever trust them again? I can't.

Very approachable and easy to work with. Was able to come out the next day and do the job.

We purchased a deal on Angie's List and put our phone number as a contact, we were never contacted and they performed the work at a different address than we wanted. We tried to get in touch with them to discuss, they have not returned our calls or email. We paid app. $150 to get gutters cleaned and they did the work at our other home which didn't even need its gutters cleaned. To our knowledge, nowhere on the deal did it say they would come to the address on record or that they would come perform services without getting in touch with us. In our follow-up, we didn't even request that they reperform the work at the appropriate address, we were hoping to discuss and potentially get a discount since the work still needed done at the appropriate address. We didn't even fault them for the mix-up, but it is extremely unprofessional not to contact an unsatisfied customer in our opinion.

Dave and his team were great. I called and left a message, he was back in touch with me in 10 minutes. Gave me a fair price over the phone, and was even able to squeeze in our job THE SAME DAY. Once on site, he noticed that our existing gutters were draining improperly due to their pitch -- he cleaned them out and repaired them FOR FREE. He also did an excellent job installing our gutter guards. Definitely call him for any issues you may have -- he's an honest guy!

These guys did great. I just purchased my house last year and didn't know the state of my gutters. So, I purchased the Angies list deal. These guys where a bit tough to schedule due to them being busy but once they were scheduled they showed up on time and did what was expected. My gutters where mostly clean so they made sure everything was attached well, I was really happy with my experience.

I was not very happy after he left. He came in, did a pretty good job doing his work, cleaned up. I had gutter guards on them and now they are pushed back, so I am going to have to spend some money to get them fixed. I was not too happy. I tried to call the guy a few times and he had no voicemail. Did he clean my gutters; yes. Did he leave my gutters where I could use them again; no. If I pay for something I want done and then have to pay for it after he leaves, that is an F. The cost would have been fair if he had not knocked down the gutter guards. He was very responsive.

It did not go very well. I don't think they did a very good job at all. It just wasn't worth the $119. It really wasn't. I just don't feel like they cleaned the roof. That was part of the deal. There was still a lot of stuff left on the roof. I just think it was overpriced for what they did. I have no idea if they did the downspouts or not. I just don't feel like they did what they should have done.

Guys were great. Performed the work quickly. I'm considering using them for a full gutter replacement.

Came when said and cleaned the gutters - one in front was totally blocked and had small tree/weeds growing. They did not actually flush any of the gutters though that was listed as part of the service - said they could see it was clear. A few heavy rains since then have shown that the gutters are actually clear. I put B for quality because they had not flushed the one badly impacted gutter. If they had, I would not have been left thinking I might have to call them back after the first rain.

#1 Gutter Guys are the Best and will absolutely call them again for their expertise, knowing that the work will be done exactly as requested and far better than expected! They are dependable, friendly and courteous, skilled and knowledgeable, and most especially thorough in all the repairs that were made. They removed all remaining dirt and debris and Everything looked brand new again! Thank you so much!

They contacted me quickly to schedule the work getting completed after I bought the deal on Angie's List. They came out and performed the work. The only reason I graded a B is because while cleaning off my porch after finishing their work, they knocked off some tile that I'll have to have fixed now. It's not great tile, but another thing to do one my list.

After several appointments, it went fine. Due to the weather and his other responsibilities it took rescheduling several times.

It was fine. They need to be more personable.

I needed a lot of my downspouts replaced. I was going to pay separate but on the day they came, first they said they could do the job but then they said they had to come back. They haven't been back. They didn't do the flushing of the downspouts. I called probably ten times but they haven't called me back. The cost was covered in the coupon. I had a hard time getting a hold of them to set up the appointment. When they did, they set up a date and didn't show up. I had to call back. When I called them back, I set up the date and didn't come that day but the day after. They could have been more punctual.

We bought our first house with a slate roof two years ago and have had the gutters cleaned twice before. Unlike the previous company we used, this one knew that walking on a slate roof with regular shoes is a NO NO as tthe slate is fragile and roof can be damaged. Will use them in future.

I was away. They said they came out and performed the gutter cleaning. When I came back home it was not completed. They said if any additional work would be performed then they would call me for additional charges. I am not happy with the experience.

Overall, it went fine. They were able to come out for the service relatively soon after purchase; however, I wasn't satisfied with the initial visit because (1) there was dirt caked all over the outside of the gutters and all over my deck, and (2) there was nothing left but a business card, so wasn't sure if they did anything beyond the cleaning to justify the higher price (relative to a simple cleaning, which has cost me under $100 in the past). To the owner's credit, when I e-mailed him and brought these issues up, he came out himself with a crew to clean up all the mess and double-check the gutters. Although I'm still not sure if there's an advantage to getting the "minor repairs, etc" over the simple cleaning, I probably would use these guys again after speaking with the owner. He seemed very invested in making sure his crew did a good job and I was impressed with the extra efforts he made when I initially expressed dissatisfaction.
