The work had to be rescheduled once due to heavy winds. They contacted us to inform us of the situation and scheduled another day. The quality was excellent - the driveway looks great. I will use them again.

Generally pleased with the results except for overspray on the grass on either side of the driveway.Otherwise I would have graded A accross the board.

Vince was punctual and called before arriving as requested. We went over the areas that needed hot tar filling and discussed when I can drive and walk on the driveway. I power washed and cleaned the driveway a few days before the appointment, yet his crew and himself spent a great deal of time preparing the driveway, taking care of the smallest concerns. 2 1/2 hours later they were done, left the bill on the door and roped off the entrance. I later examined and photographed the work and was impressed with the thickness of the coating as well as some areas he felt needed some extra tar. Its only been 4 days, but I'm so far very pleased with the entire job. If it holds up as advertised, I'm going to use him again.

He did a good job. It wasn’t quite the asphalt/coating I was looking for. However, his job was neat & he didn’t spray everywhere. I am little worried about whether the application will have longevity.

It went great. He arrived when he said he would, did a great job and was done in a couple of hours. Price was great.

My husband and I knew nothing about the different kinds of sealant you can put on driveways. He explained that the use of coal tar is actually damaging to a driveway so he used something different. We were glad to know there was a difference. Workers were very pleasant to talk with and very professional. We had expressed a concern that when they sprayed the driveway it might get on our cement porch which sits low to the ground and didn't want any on the white painted poles on porch. They did an excellent job of seeing that, that didn't happen. We were very pleased. Would definitely hire again.

They were supposed to fill cracks and rough pitted areas of driveway then apply sealer to restore driveway to smooth surface with top-rated sealant product they described when first surveying our driveway. We don't know what they actually used because there was no markings on the tubs in their truck. They sprayed on stuff so thin that coverage was streaky. Instead of filling cracks and pitted areas, they just sprayed on the thin stuff. Smell was horrible, like oily fumes. Black look only lasted until we drove on pavement, then tire tracks quickly marred the appearance. Now, tracks appear anytime anyone drives on pavement. They also overestimated the square footage of our driveway by nearly double our actual square footage and said if payment wasn't received in less than one week, we'd be hit with interest. When we insisted they recomputed the bill, they reluctantly admitted perhaps they made some calculation errors. We sent only the square footage times the stated price per foot, which was horribly inflated over what their Angie's List coupon said.

The work was performed well and the results are excellent.

I saw they had a double take offer and then checked and saw they were on Angie's list, so I called them. He said he would check the size of my roof and get back to me with an estimate. I finally called him because he never got back to me. He told me he would be happy to give me an estimate and sorry he didn't get back sooner but that he could no longer honor the double take offer because it expired. I of course told him to forget it because I was not going to pay him double for not following through. He shouldn't do the double deal if he wasn't going to honor it

I worked with the vendor to schedule the appointment. When scheduled, the vendor phoned to let me know arrival time. The whole process took about an hour and a half. They were very careful with my plants and (because I share part of my driveway) my neighbors property. They gave me careful directions on how to handle both the driveway sealing and the piece to smooth the exit from the garage.

Went the extra mile to apply additional sealant to worn area and made an effort to get the job done in time before imminent rain was expected. Job very well done.

They were very polite. I watched them do the entire job and they did everything they said they would. It looked great when they were finished. The price was spot on.

If you use this company, do your homework and know exactly what they will and won't do for that job. Ask questions. As explained below, my dissatisfaction is not with the work itself nor with the ethics or integrity of the company. They were pleasant to deal with, and when rescheduling needed to happen (due to weather), they called and let me know. My frustration is with the sparse communication about what would actually be done on my driveway, and what would not be done. I've never had a driveway done before, so I was completely unfamiliar with how it works. I didn't know how much preparation I'd end up having to do (cleaning, edging, etc.) until they came once and left without doing the work, explaining in a voice mail that I would need to eliminate weeds in cracks and along the edges of parts of the driveway. Seems obvious to me now, but I had no idea that would be my responsibility. The result looks fine, except that they did nothing with cracks in the surface. I had no idea they would do nothing about them, and I didn't know to ask, nor did anyone from the company volunteer that cracks would not be filled. I'm sure that's a service they could perform for an extra fee, which would be fine, but it never came up. I wasn't here when they did the work--which is a plus; you don't have to be home--so I couldn't address the cracks issue while they were here. So now I have to address the cracks separately. Wished I'd have known. This is minor, but it goes to the communication issue: they put a yard sign up and taped off the entrance to my driveway. All good. But they didn't say when or if they'll be back to retrieve the sign or the stakes in the ground. I'm not physically able to pull the stakes up myself. They seem like good, honest folks. I wish I could rate the experience higher. Overall, the work was done as advertised, but I'd have liked the company to be more informative before and after the project.

I had contact Robert Stanley in end of June to get an estimate for resealing my home's driveway. The lady on the phone who took the message said, Robert will email the quote. The quote never came. I got response from another company I called from Angie's List - they got the work.

Did an excellent job, would recommend again.

We were entirely satisfied with the work. As we look at some of our neighbors' driveways that were also recently sealed, we observed that the coating on our driveway (done by Robert Stanley Asphalt Maintenance) appears to be thicker. We'll use them again.

The driveway looks brand-new! I will definitely use in the future. Great customer service.

Mr. Vince Gerace and his son performed all the work and did an excellent job. The driveway was close to 5000 square feet with a lot of tree's and a fair amount of dirt and gravel from runoff. Using a very heavy duty broom and large fan they cleaned up all the heavily soiled areas and then blew the entire driveway with a hand held blower. Compared to previous seal coating efforts, their prep work was 100% better. Once they started the spraying, they were meticulous about not spraying the garage and garage doors as well as any other area's I requested they pay special attention too. Vince and his son were very polite and always ready to address any concerns I had. When they finished they put and barrier tape across the driveway entrance and left my grounds just as they found it.

We were on vacation for three weeks and I set it up with Robert Stanley Asphalt Maintenance to come basically after we came back and they came, I prepaid it, I guess with one of the specials and they came while we were gone, that was not good. I understand how that could happen, somebody got messed up but it was done when we came home and apparently filling in the cracks was an extra cost and of course they just did the basic job. I'm not sure how to handle that. It was just messed up as far as the time frame. The job they did was good except I would have had them fill in the cracks. I didn't realize that it wasn't filling the cracks deal on the asphalt. They had an additional because I only paid for a certain amount and I was over in my square footage for whatever they did. I may have been $00 more but I'm not positive, I think it was around that. What they used was a good quality tarring so I think they get credit for that because we have had people do it in the past that did not use and it would end up on the bottom of your shoe. They neatly done what they did. I think it was reasonable. I thought they did an A quality even though they didn't do my cracks. What they did do was nicely done. I have a paver walkway that goes into the driveway and that was nicely done, where the two join together, they did a very nice job. They seem nice and all, I just don't know if I would grade them on the fact that they didn't do as we asked. Maybe I would use them again. I'm actually looking for the asphalt taken and then have it start from scratch.

Contacted this business based on top rating on Angie's List. Was very pleased with his presentation and decided to contract with him without getting competitive bids. Arrived on schedule on mutually agreed date. Thoroughly cleaned driveway and very neatly applied sealcoat without any overlap on curbing or sidewalks. Everything went as promised. It was a pleasure doing business with this contractor.

It went very well. He finished within an hour. Very pleasant and professional.

It worked out well. Their price was good and they did quality work. They came out and provided the service probably about two months after I purchased the big deal and I just spent for the price of the deal.

The coupon from Angie's list stated that the company would edge the driveway prior to resurfacing. The company did not know the offer stated that and said that they did not provide that surface. They did state that the high pressure blower they use would remove any debris from the edges of the driveway and it did a great job at that. They did a great job, used superior products, and our driveway looks great!
