Scott was recommended to us by a neighbor. I knew instantly that he was the person for the job. His price was very competitive. Scott noticed some trouble spots we were unaware of and made sure everything was taken care of. Scott has a large crew who work in unison to get the job done with the best possible outcome. They are skilled, fast, punctual, and courteous. Getting a new roof was one of those things I feared the most about being a homeowner. I could not have asked for more. I would highly recommend Scott and his crew for any of your roofing needs!

Scott knowledge of framing and roof Installation was impressive

First job: Scott gave us the lower estimate, but I had seen his work on other houses and I was confident about his professionalism. He did more work than he had estimated, for the same price we agreed in advance. His crew was quick, courteous and efficient. They did a great job. New job: Scott did a great, precise job. He is very responsive and when I said I did not like how the chimney flash the installed looked he promptly changed it.

Scott initially replaced a leaky shingle roof over my porch with a flat roof. They replaced the roof and removed two rotting skylights while I was at work, and I really couldn't tell they had been here; everything was left so neat. And the roof they installed was beautiful. A few months later they repaired a leaking area around the chimney. Scott offered three options and recommended the least expensive, since he was confident the repair would work and would last as long as the rest of my roof. I plan on calling them next time the need arises. They've won my trust with their expertise and professionalism.

Work was done well, and promptly.

One section of our roof started leaking in the rain. McCabe came right away, gave us an estimate of $1600, and squeezed us in, since it was summer rainstorm season. They came as promised, worked long hours each day, taking advantage of the available sunlight, and cleaned up well after every day. There were no surprises - the actual bill matched the estimate. The workers were very professional.

Scott came to us via a trusted referral and was great to deal with from the very beginning. He was thorough and in his estimate after first checking out our roof and siding to let us know what he thought it needed. He came out several times to help us select shingle and siding colors, as well as some leak prevention options. The job went well; the whole crew was very professional and careful of everything on our property. I can, without any reservation, recommend them as someone to do business with.

The job went well from beginning to end. Scott was very thorough and honest in his estimate. He spent a long time on our roof checking out its condition and let us know what he thought it needed and what we could get away with. He came out several times to help us select shingle and metal color, as well as gutters. We had initially planned to have the roof replaced later in the spring, but when we developed a leak in our bedroom, Scott was able to move our job up by a few weeks. The job itself went well. The crew were very professional and focused. When they were almost finished and we had a few extra requests about moving some downspouts and replacing a decorative feature that had fallen, they were happy to oblige.

They have always been very good with what they do. They do what they are supposed to. We have used them for many years now. There are very reliable. They are very nice to deal with. I highly recommend them. I think they are very affordable.

We like them. They did a very good job when they did our whole roof 5 years ago. There was something that went wrong with the siding or the gutters that needed to repaired. So we called them and they repaired that. It was early this year or late last year. It was a small job and they did a fine job with that. They are reasonably priced and honest. They do good work too. That’s why we used them again. They do get back to you when you call them, but they are not the best that I have ever worked with. Their punctuality is good. I would use them again in the future.

The father and son did the work together. He did a wonderful job. It rained after he put the flat roof on the porch. He did not like that there were some little puddles there. So he tore the thing off and rebuilt the carpentry underneath. He put the roof back on and wasn’t going to leave it until it was good. We were impressed with that. We liked him a lot. He was very conscientious and was eager to explain things. He was personable and he went the extra mile. We were having carpentry work done and the carpenter was working by himself. There was a railing that had to be put on the flat roof. He appeared with his people one night around 8 pm when it was almost dark to put the railings on the flat roof, so that the carpenter wouldn’t have to do it himself.

They were decent and entirely adequate. I had no issues with them. I got their name and number online and then I called them directly. It took a little while for them to call me back. We scheduled the time and they came out. They were here and done in a short period of time. They were one of the two contractors who showed up at the same time. So I really didn’t have enough time to interact with them. I wanted the gutters to be cleaned before the rainy season and I am not sure as to how much dirt was in there. It might have been perfect and they did a decent job. I was prepared to pay them directly on the spot, but the contractor had already taken off. So he ended up billing me and that was nice of him. I hate when contractors don’t use the right ladders which in turn can damage your gutters. However, they used the right kind of ladder which is L-shaped at the end and which rests on the roof and not on the gutters. I would use their services again.

Scott did a very thorough inspection when preparing his estimate. Work was professionally done and was completed exactly when scheduled. We noticed one gutter that was still not performing correctly after their visit. Called Scott and he came back the next day and fixed the problem. Excellent work, great communication. Would not hesitate to use them again.

I never would have thought that a company 2 miles from our house would not work in our area, but when my husband called them, they told him that they only work in the main line area, on more expensive homes. They were kind of snooty about it, which really rubbed us the wrong way.

I felt they were very timely in keeping their appointment. I had used them in the past so I had no problem calling them out for this house. I think their estimates are pretty fair for the work. They seem very responsive to what you are looking for. I did not hire anyone yet though.

They did a fantastic job and the roof looks great! Scott was very easy to work with and brought over shingle samples to help us pick a color. In addition, his estimate was very comprehensive and included both options and pricing, and also his impressions of what was wrong with the current roof and what he expected to find when he removed it. We are having a lot of work done on our new (but quite old) house, and when other contractors cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling and found water (most likely pooled there from the previous leaky roof), Scott still came back and took a look at the roof inside and out to make sure everything was now ok, which it was. We are very happy with McCabe Roofing and would absolutely hire them again.
