"I first met Alan Mikol and worked with AM Window and Construction in 1993 when they renovated my kitchen and a bathroom. I was impressed with their workmanship, professionalism and ability to stay on budget and schedule. I moved out of state and when I returned to Pittsburgh ten years later, AM Window & Construction was the ONLY contractor I contacted to do some work at my new residence. â Some workâ has turned into a 19 year collaboration which has included adding air conditioning; replacing my double furnaces; all new windows; renovating a master bathroom; enclosing a screened-in porch; a new deck; renovating the laundry room and installing a new roof. To say that AM Window & Construction is my â go-toâ contractor is quite evident for multiple reasons. Alan Mikol is honest, professional and maintains constant communication concerning the job so I am never left in the dark about anything that is happening at my house-and he returns phone calls! "I hired Beaver Valley Lawn Service (A J) as I had a water problem and it was running onto my patio. He french drained it. Well just a few days after it rained and the water came down worse then before he did his work. I paid him over $6,000. Then he came to look at it and wanted $3,100. more he said to fix it. My children said no and we got someone else to do it the right way. He also never finished what he was to do according to the contract. He was to plant grass seed and put fertilizer on where they had dug up. My son has been trying to get the money back but he acts like he has an attorney and he will send us a letter. We just want our money back. DO NOT HIRE HIM. I had to mark something in where it ask what work I had done because it does't give you an option to put in what was done at my home and it won't go through without something in the box."
