Excellent - Patrick made appointment for 10a.m. today (I took this to be approximate). He called about 9:30, said he would be about 15 minutes late - arrived before 10:15. - dis-assembled the drier - lubricated a bearing and removed a small plastic item which had come out of a drying laundry load at some time and could cause a future problem if it got into the fan. Re-assembled and tested the drier. Screech-sound was gone. Total time, including billing and payment - about 45 minutes.

Showed up on time as scheduled, no fuss or problems!

Described the problem to Patrick over the phone. He ordered a part and verified the problem when he was on site. Replaced the part and it resolved the problem.

Excellent. I called Sears Appliance repair first on 11/21/17. Their earliest appointment was 12/7/17! I then looked on Angie's List and found Appliance Services. He pre-analyzed the problem on the phone based on information he requested and came out that afternoon and did the repair. He even sent a video via iMessage showing the problem and the repair after completion. Excellent service.

When my parent's dryer repairman was out of town, I found Patrick on Angie's list and decided to give him a try. He was prompt and helpful. He was unable to find exactly what was wrong because everything decided to work while he was here, but he opted to switch out a part that may have been causing the issue. Since he couldn't be sure if it would fix the problem he only charged me for the part and not the labor to replace it. So far my clothes are drying again! I would definitely hire him again for any appliance repair.

I contacted this service in early August for a fridge/microwave repair. Patrick replied asking detailed photos of appliances and serial numbers of the unit. I diligently took all the photos and sent the information a few days later. Patrick replied saying that he could do the job after Labor day (ie after end of August). So I waited. After Labor day I contacted the service to schedule an appointment. No reply. Contacted again - no reply. Contacted a third time - no reply. So: I lost over one month and half of time waiting for a repair that never happened. Very unprofessional.

Patrick was awesome, called me right back. He was very knowledgeable and efficient, he asked for the model number and what type of issues I was having with the washer before he arrived, to help diagnose the problem right away, which he did. I would highly recommend him for your appliance repair needs.

Patrick called me back shortly after I left a message and was at our home the next afternoon fixing our oven.

Patrick asked for information prior to arrival which helped him further diagnose the issue with the machine. He quickly assessed the machine upon arrival and we discussed the cost of the part needed to repair it. He had no problem with my decision to replace the machine and not go forward with ordering the expensive part. Diagnosis cost was very reasonable. Will call him again.

Patrick gave me a 2 hour window on a Friday. He called my tenant a day early and showed up and diagnosed the issue as a thermostat and defroster timer gone bad and he replaced it. My tenant tells me the refrigerator is working much better and at a lower setting.

The part seemed tricky to get to (motor related) but the reapir was done quickly and it works like a charm now.

Great they came right when they said they would and took care of it. Needed a new processor.

I was looking for an honest, fair and skilled appliance repair person. That's why I called Patrick Shields at Appliance Services, LLC. I left him a detailed message about my Whirlpool Duet washer and my ULine under-mount mini-fridge. As promised, he returned my call in under half an hour. After answering a few questions, he was able to give me the bad news about the washer (start playing Taps for it; the old thing is meeting its maker). He also advised me that he didn't work on this make/model of refrigerator. All in all, some pretty valuable advice, given for free. It saved us both a wasted service call. Thanks! I'd say that you can trust this guy.

Patrick said he would check the electrical schematic and get back to me. In the meantime he suggested to turn off the circuit breaker for 30 min. to see if everything would reset. It worked! Not only that but he suggested that I might not want to put much money into repairs because the main panel control of this range has been discontinued. I will recommend this company to all of my friends and relatives.

Seeing small puddles of water on the floor in front of your bottom mount freezer fridge is never a good thing. I knew I would need someone to take care of the problem for me so I came straight to Angie's List to search for a repairman. I am SO glad I found Patrick/Appliance Service LLC. He answered the phone while out on the road to a call and said he could be here the next day. When I asked what time he needed me to be here he turned the tables and asked what time I wanted him here- to not cancel my Dr appointment, just give him a time when I'd be home and he'd be here. I was immediately impressed! Patrick called me about half an hour before he was to be here to say he was on the way so I could get the freezer emptied and ready for him. He got right to work removing the ice build up and flushing the condensate line. He even cleaned all the fuzz bunnies from behind the fridge...which I was so embarrassed to see! And when he was all done he even helped me carry some of my food from the basement fridge back upstairs!! He told me to hang on to my receipt just in case things froze up again as he would come and fix it at no charge within 90 days. Patrick is kind and caring- he came to my home even though I'm not in his area. I really appreciated that. It's hard to find someone good you can trust to take care of appliance repairs so when you find someone as fantastic as Patrick you want to hang on to them! He obviously loves his work and is excellent at his job. If you need any service done for any appliance, Patrick is the one to call for a job well done and going the extra mile.
