Patrick is great. He helped me diagnose the problem with my ice maker over the phone. When he came to replace the part he was polite and worked quickly.

Called ahead. Was on time. Very professional. Appointment two days after my initial call. Price was less than I thought it would be.

Patrick returned my call on a Saturday a.m. promptly and was able to do the repair the same day. He was professional, showed me exactly what he was doing, very efficient. I would highly recommend Patrick and use his services again.

Patrick came the same day I called to fix a dryer in one of my rental units. He figured out right away that the belt was broken and replaced it on the spot. The dryer was up and running within minutes. The whole process was quick and easy. I would recommend him.

The service tech pulled the washer out from the wall, tilted it back, and examined it from underneath. Then he plugged it in, and discovered there was no electricity coming in. At the fuse box, he turned the electricity on. Still no electricity. Then he found the GFI, and he push that button in, and the electricity came on. The washer started to fill, and the water came out on the floor. He then stopped everything, looked at my washer from the back of it, and said it was leaking water all over the wires and not to use it. I will have to buy a new washer, and I will do so.

The appointment was scheduled between 4 pm and 5 pm on 7-24-2013. The service technician called and said he was running late. He showed up and diagnosed the problem with our dryer and advised that it would be cheaper to buy a new one than repair the existing one. I appreciate the honesty. Will use again.

I was pleased to welcome Patrick Shields and his helper(his sweet daughter)into my home.They checked everything out quickly and made the necessary repair in record time.Although he said the dryer would cost 220.00 to repair, he said it would be better to buy a new one.But, it's now working ok ----God's blessing!!!

Patrick scheduled the appt. for this morning. He said that he'd call 15 minutes before arriving, and did so. He arrived exactly on time. He was very professional and knowledgeable, as well as pleasant.

He was late getting here, but my address is confusing. He was upfront and honest.

It was great! Beyond my expectations. I called just a few minutes before noon. He arrived by 1:30and I was all fixed by 2:00. He was very professional, courteous and prompt. Very reasonable price too.

I explained that the dryer was making a buzzing sound. He said that isn't good and probably the motor. He then had me press that start button with the door open while pushing in the latch for the door and rotating the rotor with my hand. The thing started and a stuck rhinestone fell out. It now works. It was simply clogged up. Patrick said, and quot;well there you go, no charge!and quot;. Very pleased as this saved me not only the money, but more importantly, the time to come home from work and get this fixed. Highly recommend!

Patrick was prompt and professional. He worked quickly and was able to determine the issue.

I spoke to Patrick around 10am and at that time he was booked up with appointments for the day so we made an appointment for the following morning. I gave him the model number of our refrigerator. Later that day, he called to say he was finishing up an appointment near my house and he'd be able to look at our refrigerator that day. He came in and opened the back of the refrigerator and quickly said it would be one of three things. It turned out that the compressor was not working properly. He indicated that he brought a relay switch with him that would fit our model because I had given him the model number. He put that in and the compressor started working again. He was very helpful, polite and professional. I would recommend Patrick to anybody in need of an appliance repair.

My dryer was taking forever to dry my clothes so we called Appliance Service Inc to have them take a look at it. I had left a message and they called me back and scheduled an appointment. The night before the appointment, they called to get information on the make and model of my dryer to make sure they had the right parts on the truck for the visit. When I explained the issue during that phonecall, they made a suggestion that lint may be built up in the outside duct as well as the duct work inside. He explained how to clean it out both inside and outside the house to save me the money for a service call. I followed his instructions and it solved the problem. I called to thank him for the advice and he said he was happy to do it and save us the money and that he hoped if we would have another appliance issue in the future that we would contact them for the repair. If we had an issue with another appliance I would definitely contact them. I appreciated that he would give us the information instead of just coming out and charging us for the service call.

Quick, fixed, done. Very pleased.

My new dryer was not functioning properly and I suspected the vent needed to be cleaned or replaced. Patrick showed up with a new vent and, after checking the old one, replaced it. He was friendly, professional and worked with me to time his appointment so that I could leave work to meet him at a specific time. It wasn't a difficult job, but he completed it in a professional manner and made sure he fixed the problem. I will definitely call him again.

I left a message for Patrick late in the day and received a call back the same day. He asked for the make and model of the refrigerator so he could cost the potential parts that might be necessary for the fix. A few hours later, he called to let me know that the cause might be that the water line inside the appliance may have simply froze. He walked me through the process of allowing the line to defrost. Thirty minutes later my problem was solved. I cannot say enough about the professionalism of Patrick's response time to a voicemail left late in the day, and the idea that he fixed my problem for free when he could have set up an appointment and charged for his time/knowledge is amazing. Great businessman and an even better person. Needless to say, I will be using Patrick and Appliance Service Inc in the future and recommending him to everyone I can. Thanks Patrick!

He came out and did the work. He said it was an easy job so he charged me very little.
