Description of Work: Drum was not spinning on dryer. My call was returned within 30 minutes and Patrick came the next morning. He replaced the belt and pulley and it is working fine. He was very professional and friendly!

Description of Work: I have used Patrick before and have been very pleased. I called him this time because I all of a sudden lost power to my oven. He came within 20 minutes of my call, identified the fact that the issue was not the oven but the outlet that it was plugged into, and did not charge me for the visit. He will be my go to guy for any appliance issue in the future.

Description of Work: My dryer stopped running. I called him, he called me back within a couple hours. I explained my issue. He asked for a picture of the serial number. Said it was very much worth fixing. Gave me a day he'd be here. Punctual. Very very nice guy. Replaced 2 fuses in the back of my dryer. Highly recommend!!

Description of Work: I called for dishwasher repair. We set up a time and he actually came before the scheduled time. The dishwasher was repaired and running within 2 short days! Excellent service!

Description of Work: Patrick was great. He responded to my voicemail right away and setup a time when he can visit. He asked me to send him a picture of the ovens model number sticker and I explained the issue. He was able to diagnose the problem over the phone. He told me that he will need to order a part and will be able to repair the oven as soon as it comes in. Patrick was punctual with his dates and got the oven up and running ASAP. The cost was high due to the part costing over $150.

Description of Work: Repaired dishwasher that ended up being under warranty. Assessed part needs ordered them and installed on second visit.

Description of Work: I had issues with a Kenmore gas dryer. I called Patrick at Appliance Services and left a voicemail. He called me back within an hour. I described the issue over the phone and he diagnosed it as a bad motor. I texted him a picture of the dryer label so he could verify that the part was in stock with his supplier. We scheduled an appointment for 4:00 pm the next day (Friday). He showed up 10 minutes early and had the dryer disassembled, part installed, and reassembled in about a half hour. At my request, while doing the work, Patrick explained some of the dryer internals to me and explained some common dryer problems and how to diagnose and repair them myself. Cost ended up being about $40 parts and $140 labor. Would definitely use again.

Description of Work: My home is outside of their service area but they took the time to call me back and walk me through possible causes for my refrigerator problem. He was right and I fixed it myself, for free! I would definitely use these guys if I lived within their area and highly recommend them based on my experience.

Description of Work: I called because my washing machine broke. He was on his way to another job but said he would call when finished to see if he could stop by later. He called me back a few hours later and asked if he could stop by. Of course that was fine with me. He showed up looked at my washer and told me that it wasn't worth the expense of fixing it. He gave me some helpful advice about what to buy and even suggested a used appliance store. He charged me for a service call but gave me a break because I was on his way home. I took his suggestion and went to the store he suggested. I got a used Whirlpool washer completely refurbished for $250. I'm pleased.

Description of Work: The quality and quantity of service provided by Mike West of Appliance Service, Inc. was of the highest quality. There is absolutely NO support from the people at Electrolux forcing Mike to work-around the many design and manufacturing flaws of this very expensive "toy" we have in our kitchen. Mike made as much of a silk purse out of a sow's ear as he could. Bravo for his efforts. A LARGE pox on Electrolux.

Description of Work: Refrigerator started running loud and continuously. Called them this morning, they were booked for the day, but fit me in around noon. Explained the problem clearly and thoroughly, an aging refrigerator on its last legs, and recommended I just run it until I get a new one.

Description of Work: Called to have my washer fixed. Machine started having problems with spin cycle. They returned call same day, and was both accomodating & prompt - came the next morning. Unfortunately, my problem was an old motor, which would have been too expensive to fix since it's a 12+ yr old machine - they suggested it'd be better to get a new washer instead. Appreciated their prompt service & response though. I had used them within the past year to fix a water leak from my freezer, and they were prompt and reasonable in cost for that service also - around $70 or 80. Would plan on calling them again for any future large appliance problems.

Description of Work: Mr Lee is amazing!! I had such problems with 2 other companies and when I sent on Angie's list and found Mr. Lee, I called. He was responsive and came out the next day to inform the home warranty of the dishwasher problem. He knew immediately that it was the motor and within 10 minutes he was done. Very fair price, nice man and definitely and great find!!! He does a lot more than just dishwashers!!! Will use again!!

Description of Work: Contacted Appliance Service on a Saturday to repair a dishwasher and icemaker. Came to the house within 24 hours and repaired the dishwasher (Sunday). The ice maker required a new motor. They obtained the new motor and returned on Tuesday to replace.

Description of Work: Diagnosed why my refrigerator/freezer had stopped functioning, replaced bad relay which solved the problem. The technician arrived later than he had projected, but worked quickly once he arrived.

Description of Work: Side By Side refrigerator freezer cooling failed. There were several companies that I might have chosen from Angie's list, but Appliance Service was the one I picked because there were customer reports whose problems were similar to mine. Lee said he did work on Kenmore, his service call charge was $35, and he could come out next day between 2:00 PM & 4:00 PM. He was punctual, had the needed part on his truck, a starter relay, and we were up & running in about a half hour. I was glad not to need replacement and thought $187.25 was a fair price, but I have no basis for comparison. I would certainly call him again and I believe (from the other reports submitted) that he works on other appliances also.
