Mr. Waterheater

They were recommended to me from friend. They knew what needed to be done and how to do it. They came at the time they said they would. They worked in a professional manner. They cleaned up nicely.

It went very well. The installer arrived on schedule. He systematically drained and removed he old tank and installed the new one. He cleaned up when he was done and he took the time to explain to me how to light the pilot (should it go out), how the different temperature indicators equate to water temperature and how the new tank was different from the old one with regards to insulation and sediment control. He did not try to sell me an expansion tank and showed me what to do to see if I have any periods of high pressure in my closed system.

I think they were prompt in arriving and getting here. They were in and out within one hour and they cleaned up after themselves. This was the first time we have used them and they were very honest with us.

Went perfectly. Called and they were here within 2 hrs. and installed a new water heater (the old one was leaking).

I felt that their service was sub-par for the high amount of money they were charging. They did do a nice job though. I am pushing 60 years old and I have replaced a lot of water heaters in my life. When I would question him, he wouldn t respond, it was like he was here to put this water tank in and didn t need someone badgering him in the background, so he just wouldn t respond. I didn t like that. I would never consider using them again.

I called and said that the water heater didn't work. They send a out a plumber to replace water heater. I was told I needed a an expansion tank otherwise wouldn't meet code and that the warranty wouldn't be any good. Work was done quickly with no other issues.

They did an excellent job. I called about 1pm on a Saturday after our water heater died, and the team was there with the new one before 3pm and out by shortly after 4pm. They were thorough and neat. I watched parts of the work and was very impressed at how well it was done. My place isn't that accessible in the basement, but twice, given the choice of making things more or less fit or going back for extra fittings, they went back and got the extra parts. Even little stuff, like picking up cut off pieces of pipe and flue, dusting a solder drip off the top of the heater, etc., were done just right. And, even though this was their last job of a long, hot day, they took the time to show how to relight the pilot if it goes out and how to adjust temperature, measured water line pressure and suggested having someone put in a new regulator later (they were right; it was too high and I hadn't realized the old regulator had stopped working).

They were very professional, efficient and happy to answer questions. They kept the work area clean and did just what they said they would.

I had a leak in my water heater and it was not getting enough hot water. I called Mr. Water Heater, they came out and replaced the hose and fitting. They did not charge me for the cost of the parts, only for the service call. They showed up on time and was very nice.

They were very responsive and they came out, took care of it at reasonable price and they were great to work with. I would call them first if I need this work ever again.

I tried using a different national water heater replacement company, and they never came to install. After 36 hours of frustration, I canceled my order and called Mr. WaterHeater. I called them at 9:30am, and the plumber arrived by 12:30pm the same day. He showed me how to set the water temperature, what to expect, and another item I may want to consider (I have high pressure water which can cause the automatic pressure release valve to let some water trickle out.) They had 4 different heater options for my size tank (a standard 40 gallon tank), the difference being the length of the warranty. I went with a 10 year warranty. I was very happy with their service. I highly recommend them!

My existing water heater had burst its seam. (I would not have seen this if I had it wrapped with insulation!) I called Mr. Waterheater and they came out three hours later. The technician said the existing one was not installed properly, took it out, and replaced with a new one. He installed it properly and explained the heat settings. Told me to call him if I had any questions. Mr. Waterheater has 9 different locations, I called the one in the North Hills.

This is a great outfit for water heaters, expansion tanks, and pressure gauges on lines. They're pros, work fast and well. I'll call them whenever I need a water heater or any of the stuff that goes with it. They even came the same day I called!

I was referred to this company by 2 different friends. When I called them they showed up exactly when they said they would. They asked me before they fixed anything to make me aware of any issues any other costs. I was given a choice of work to be performed and they even removed our old water heater for a $10 fee. They were in and out and did a great job.

Great. The installer was knowledgeable, professional and efficient and the price could not be beat by the 3 or 4 other plumbers I called.

I called them about 8:30 am. The job was complete by 11:30 am the same day. Their price was about $280 lower than the quote I got from someone else the previous day. The workman were prompt (called when they were on the way), courteous and neat. They cleaned up after completing their work and explained exactly what they were going to do.

We called about 10 am on a Sunday to report a problem with our gas waterheater. Mr. Waterheater uses an answering service on weekends and my message was returned within about 45 minutes. Their representative indicated a Sunday call out was not possible, but promised a technician first thing on Monday morning. I got a call at 7:45 on Monday morning and the technician arrived exactly on time at 8:45. Parts were changed out as promised in about an hour. Mr. Waterheater honored the 6 year warranty, still in place for the 3 year old Rheem waterheater and therefore covered the cost of necessary parts - about $100. I don't know if other plumbers would have done this, but I thought it was helpful because the documentation for making a claim through the manufacturer looked complicated!

We called on Sunday night and spoke to someone from the company. He stated that a service call would be $65 (I liked that there would not be any surprises.) They promised to call the next morning with an approximate time to come by the house. They did as they said and showed up during the stated time. The technician diagnosed and fixed the problem. He also gave us a few suggestions so that it wouldn't happen again.

The service workers that came to my house were on time and extremely nice. I called in the morning and they were able to come on the same day. I was very surprised that it only took a half an hour to replace my heater. I felt that the price was right also. I would recommend Mr. WaterHeater to everyone!

I called this supplier at the recommendation of my condo rep because they do a lot of repairs in our plan and they have good prices. My first choice was terry's Plumbing, but they were supposed to come by noon and had not arrived by 1:30. I called Mr. WaterHeater and they came within 90 minutes. There price was $80 cheaper than Terry (although the model was different - but not the size of the tank). I left the guy alone to do his thing and he was done quickly and with little mess, but some residual water on the floor, which I assume is normal when replacing a tank.

2 workers were at my house by 11:00 a.m. They very efficiently removed the old leaky unit, installed the new one, & hauled the old one out, & were gone by noon.

He gave me the price over the phone. He was out the next day (a Saturday) with the new water heaters, & installed & even took the old water heater away for me for a small fee.

Everything was done in a timely fashion which was important because we had no hot water! The workers were friendly and knowledgeable about their product.

SAME DAY SERVICE! PRICES ARE COMPETITIVE WITH OR BETTER THAN COMPANIES OFFERING SIMILAR SERVICES. BASE PRICE INCLUDED A FULL 10-YEAR WARRANTY ON THE TANK AND PARTS AND A FULL 1-YEAR WARRANTY ON LABOR. THE ONLY THING I MIGHT CHANGE IS NOT TO HAVE PURCHASED THE FULL 10-YEAR EXTENDED WARRANTY ON LABOR FOR $125. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE.
