Mr. Waterheater

Scratched floor in hallway with old tank when removing. When removing the old tank vibrated pipes that I tried to hold. Noticed a leak in an old pipe I was holding after they left, but that was a blessing as the pipe was mainly clogged with restricted flow.

I had a water heater go bad and called Mr. Waterheater. They came out the same day and installed a water heater and what is called a mixing valve. The mixing valve essentially gives your water heater extra capacity by allowing the water in the heater to be hotter than usual, and the mixing valve mixes in cold water to make it a normal temperature. They did a wonderful professional job. However, I was having an issue with the mixing valve such that it was clogging and I was losing water pressure. They came out and cleaned the filter and didn't charge but when it happened again six months later, I asked them to remove the mixing valve as I didn't want to keep having the problem. They came out the next day, removed the mixing valve AND GAVE ME A CREDIT FOR IT, which I never asked for or expected. This is a stand up company I would highly recommend and will use again when necessary.

I was very satisifed. They were prompt, on time, and cleaned up afterwards. They were very dependable, knew what they were doing and did what they said what they were going to do.

Very professional and courteous. Cleaned up afterwards. Arrive 3/4 hour after I called and completed the work in 1 hour 15 minutes. Cost was 10% below average cost in Pittsburgh. I highly recommend this company and would use them again.

Shawn was pretty much flawless in both installs. Everything seems to be working as it should. I do not like the idea that it cost over $900 for both installs----BUT----it is what it is. Tanks are no longer a $500 project.

It went well. Work was performed as scheduled and completed on time with no problems. Price was pretty much what everyone charges, and not meant to reflect negatively on this company.

The initial call was quickly returned and I was given "no issues" pricing for the waterheater, expansion tank, and regulator. I called another Angie's List well-rated provider, and prices were comparable. With the other provider I couldn't get a set price for the regulator replacement, so I selected Mr. Waterheater. Scheduling was easy, and they called with the arrival window as they said they would. The two men on the service team were professionals. We discussed what needed to be done, and explained to me how pipes would need to be re-routed to accommodate the expansion tank. They executed the task in a workmanlike way, and gave me the clear impression that they take pride in doing their work. Because the work involved re-routing the gas line and adding a shut-off valve, and a complex re-routing of the cold water supply, the price was higher than the "no issues" price I'd been quoted. Given the time it took them and particularly the quality of the work I feel I received good value for the money.

Prompt and good service. No surcharge for work on a Saturday. Price included water tank, pressure regulator and overflow tank.

There were things that needed to be upgraded and pipes that needed to be replaced due to the rules changing.

Horrible. They drained the 40 gallon tank directly ONTO the floor on the OPPOSITE side of the basement as the floor drain. Allowing the water to flow wherever. Ruined carpeting and everything (that wasn't plastic) on it in addition to flooding our basement. Left garbage and pieces of the old tank lying all over the floor. Used my washer (that had clothes IN it) as a tool bench. My husband and I called the office and were told they could send someone out to remove the carpet and dry out the basement. However, they neglected to inform us that it was at OUR cost.

Had a new water heater up and running less than 24 hours after contacting John at Mr. Waterheater in North Versailles. Their prices were very reasonable and the service technician was done in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend them.

They two men were professional, showed me what needed to be done and explained the process. In a little over an hour I had a new functioning water heater. Easy! I would recommend this company for anyone needing a water heater!

Installed gas waterheater. Fast and professional!

A friend of mine had recommended Mr. Waterheater and I also reviewed them on Angie's List. I placed a call and on 5/6/2017, two installers from Mr. Waterheater showed up promptly. They were very professional and courteous and knowledgeable. A 40 gallon water heater was installed and the price was very reasonable. I had received a bid from another company which was triple the price quoted from Mr. Waterheater. The installers took their time to answer my questions. With the Angie's list coupon, that helped to paid for the hauling away of my old water heater.

Better than expected, I called at 8pm at night and had a new by 9am the next morning

Very pleased overall - provided same day service and beat the other major competitor's price. Had a few post-install issues but they were addressed quickly and at no cost as they were covered under the install labor warranty. Would recommend to anyone needing water heater services or replacements.

Excellent. Was able to come out and install a new replacement unit that day. Was on site for 1 hour and 45 minutes. Left the area tidy after the work was complete. Was the only provider that was able to do same day service.
