They were great and the installation was great. They did it within 12 hours noticed and they were the cheapest in the area.

They replaced the old waterheater in a punctual and professional manner at a fair price exactly as quoted.

The installer was very knowledgeable and professional. So far the tank has worked for 4 months with no problems of any kind. The new tank is much better insulated than our old tank, which I had covered with an insulating blanket. They don't recommend a blanket for the new tank, which is so well insulated that the outside of the tank isn't noticeably warmer than the rest of the cellar.

No complaints. They were professional and knowledgeable.

We woke up one early morning to no hot water. A quick trip to the basement revealed a leaking water heater. Mr Waterheater had installed out last heater almost 6 years before and so I called the number on the side of the appliance. When I made the call, I asked how much we could expect to pay. The caller stated that it would depend whether our current water heater was still under warranty. I didn't know the answer to that question but the call taker was able to check in their computer immediately to see if the water heater was still under warranty - it was. At that point, she explained that the tech would come out and determine if the warranty applied in our case. I'm not going to lie.. . The thought crossed my mind that the tech would come out and find a way not to honor the warranty... Nothing could have been further from the truth! The two man team came out, looked at the water heater and determined that it was faulty. They changed it out without question, even though I only had a few months left on the original warranty. They were quick, clean, and courteous. They had the job done in about an hour and they hauled disposed of the old heater for a nominal fee. Since the new water heater only carried a few months of the old warranty, we opted to purchase a warranty extension (which I thought was pretty reasonable). Finally, before they left - they checked the water pressure coming into our home and told us that the pressure was running too high. They inspected our pressure regulator and told us it was going to need replaced in the near future. He took the time to show us the pressure and Explain what would eventually happen if we didn't change out the regulator. They offered to do the repair the same day but I declined. When I later had our regular plumber come out and check the pressure regulator, he said virtually the same thing as Mr. Waterheater and he changed it out. He did a good job, but truth be told, Mr. Waterheater's price to do that work was the same or better. Live and Learn! I would recommend them to friends and neighbors.

I had a good experience. They came in and did the job. It was done correctly, and I had been happy with it. I was happy with the price. I really did not shop around much because it was kind of an emergency thing. The previous water heater I had was from them, and so, I had just been happy with it. I thought the price was reasonable.

Everything was fine. They were very efficient. There had been no problems with the installation. Everything has been great. Anybody should consider using them if they needed a new water heater. I will absolutely use them in the future if I need to.

Our water heater was acting up and I wasn't sure whether to have it fixed or replaced. I was able to do a lot of research right on Mr. Waterheaters website. I called Mr. Waterheater with my questions and a knowledgable representative returned my call within the hour. I decided that I would feel better just replacing the whole waterheater (there was no pressure to do so from the company). The techs were on time and very nice. Our old waterheater was very large and built into a closet (very difficult to remove). They were upfront about an additional charge for the tough removal and didn't procede without my OK. They did a great job overall from start to cleanup. I was shown how the new waterheater worked and they made sure that I didn't have any questions or issues before I paid.

I called to request pricing information. They provided a quote that was comparable and lower than others. They had the unit I needed in stock. As a result, they were able to deliver and install it the next afternoon. The whole process took a couple hours. They drained, disconnected, and removed the old unit. Rather than taking it with them, they left it out on the curb for trash pickup. A scrap metal recycler picked it up that evening. They installed the new unit to the existing plumbing, adjusted the temperature, and tested it to make sure it worked. There was an additional $10 fee for taking the unit to the third floor. This was not disclosed during the quote. Not a complaint, just an FYI. I'm not certain of the installation date, but the date listed is reasonably close.

I own commercial and residential rental apartments. I replace maybe 5-10 waterheaters a year. 40-50gallon. You CAN'T get a better deal on a waterheater than Mr. Waterheater. I've tried plumbers and I've tried purchasing and installing myself. Guess what? I still can't beat them from a time vs. cost standpoint. It's that fast, that inexpensive, and that simple.

My carbon monoxide detector had gone off at 8am. I determined that the water heater was the only fuel-burning appliance that had been in operation. It had been installed by Mr. Waterheater a few years ago. I remembered being satisfied with their service when they had installed it, so decided to call them to come check it. They said they would send someone out, and that it would cost $75 for the service call, plus $35 for every half our they spend at my house. I thought it was expensive, but went ahead anyway because I was worried about the carbon monoxide. I just wanted to make sure my water heater was not a danger to myself and my family. The guy on the phone was nice and they sent someone out. They arrived a few minutes earlier than the promised time, and checked the water heater. It took about 15 minutes, and then he said there was nothing wrong with the water heater. The guy was courteous and a pleasure to talk to. He said it must have been a malfunction of the CO detector. (Later that day I heard that a number of people in the neighborhood had their CO detectors go off, must have been a weather related phenomenon.) I was happy with how quickly they came, and with their service. I do think their price is too steep though, $75 to come out, and $35 for the first half hour, I paid a total of $110. As I said, I knew the price upfront, and only paid it because I was somewhat panicked about the carbon monoxide danger, and a bit in a hurry. I would not pay this price under normal circumstances for someone to just come and take a look for 15 minutes. The price is the only reason I would not use them again. I would expect them to charge more like $50 rather than $110 just to take a quick look.

We called at 6:30 am and left a message. Within minutes we received a call back, and by 10:30 we had a new water heater. The total price plus installation was less than what I could find for just a water heater searching online. Great company and great service!

We ordered to have installed a 40 gallon water heater. By the time the installer came, we had decided that we wanted a larger tank. The installer went out to his truck to see if he had what we needed and since he did, we were able to have it installed that day. The work was efficient and professional and we've been very happy with it.

I noticed a hissing sound coming from the laundry room over the weekend, and discovered water gushing out the bottom of the water heater. I shut off the water and the gas to the water heater, and called Mr Waterheater. They were willing to come out over the weekend to replace the water heater, But it would have cost about $200.00 more , so I scheduled an appointment for Monday morning. They showed up promptly, and quickly replaced the waterheater. They showed me how to operate the new water heater and hauled the old one away. They also advised that the next time I needed a water heater, that I should have the water shut off valve replaced. As it turned out, I needed a new one three Days later, due to the replacement one leaking from the anode rod at the top of the tank. Of course it was under warranty, so there was no charge to have it replaced again. They promptly came the next day after I called and quickly replaced the water heater. I also had them relace the water shutoff valve wih a ball valve for a $35.00 charge. Since then I have not had any problems. The water heats up much faster, and we have yet to run out of hot water. The new water heater has a 6 year warranty, and I am hoping it will last 18 years like the last one. I would highly recommend Mr Waterheater for anyone looking for a new water heater or plumbing work.

This company was extremely helpful over the phone. Scott was the one I spoke with. The worker, Glenn, did a great job. I let the company know there wasn't a rush with the job. They were very patient and were able to explain everything to me. Scott made me more educated about my decision. I got exactly what I wanted at the best price. Everything was smooth and I was very happy with them. I would highly recommend to other people.

I discovered my waterheater leaking severely, called 2 other companies & got their answering machines, called Mr Waterheater around 9 am and they arrived at my home at 1:15 pm that day. I received a quote over the phone when I called, they came promptly, did a very professional job and completed the work that afternoon. I would highly recommend them, very prompt & professional.

Water heater failed on a friday night. Called Mr Water heater saturday morning and they were out before noon. The guys were personable, professional, and quick. Pretty much a perfect experience.

I called in the morning and they were able to schedule an installation for the same day. The installers arrived within their estimated time window and completed the work in less than 1 hour. Approximately 2 months after the installation, I noticed a very minor gas leak near the water heater. I called the provider and they addressed the leak at no charge. The leak was not near any of the connections that the provider made so it is not clear if they caused it when installing the water heater.

There seemed to be small intermittent leaks coming from the water heater. FInally, there was a stream of water from the water heater to the floor drain. I figured it was time to call someone. The last time I had someone look at the water heater, he had given me an estimate of over $1,000 to replace the water heater. I thought that was too high so I used Angie's List to research companies that installed water heaters. SInce, Mr. Water Heater was highly recommended, I called just before 5:00 p.m. Monday evening and the man who answered said that someone could be at my house the next day. He said that someone would call be between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. to give me a two hour window of when someone would be there. John called around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday and said he'd be at my house between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. He showed up at 1:00 p.m. and finished installing the new water heater and replacing the gas line and valve by 2:00 p.m. I am VERY pleased with my experience. They called when they said they would, someone showed up when he said he would, and the installation was completed quickly. The installer was very nice and very professional and the price was very reasonable. I would definitely use Mr. Water Heater again.

I called Mr. Waterheater's North Versailles office in the morning and told them that I had no hot water. The gentleman asked some pertinent questions and then explained what might be the cause of the problem and what my options would be. He was courteous and helpful and checked to see if he had the appropriate parts to repair the heater if it was the thermocouple. He did have the parts in stock. He told me that he was unsure as to whether he could get a service technician out by afternoon, but if not, it would be by the next morning. I asked that he try for the afternoon since I would be home all day. Within the hour, he called to tell me that he could accomodate my request for the afternoon, between 1 and 4 PM and that the technician would call when he was on his way, which he did. When the technician arrived, he inspected the tank and concluded that it was probably the thermocouple and that he could replace it for $130.00, which he proceeded to do. He was very honest in telling me that the since the tank was 10 years old, that the repair could last for 5 months, or up to 5 to 10 years, and quoted me a price for a new tank, but recommended the repair. In about an hour, I had hot water. Both gentlemen that I dealt with we're friendly, competent, respectful and extremely helpful. I will certainly recommend them to others and use them again.

Very great experience! They were great on the phone and with their scheduling. John the installer was there on time and called when he was on the way! He explained everything extremely well and was very efficient installing the water heater. I would use them again and highly recommend them to all.

The installation went well and I'm very happy overall with the product. I requested that the old hot water heater be left curbside for free, and it was gone within 15 minutes of being placed there (taken by salvagers)!
