Overall the experience went very well. JB was on time as agreed to. He found our major problem in an old four-way decorator wall switch, not a very common fixture these days. He ordered a new one for us, installed a non-matching switch in the meantime, so a string of ceiling lights leading to our basement could be used. He returned promptly after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend to replace the non-matching switch. Although I thought the original charge of $275 was a bit high for the work, he did check several other small issues while he was here, and did not charge us anything extra for coming back to install the new switch, except for the cost of the switch. He was very professional, very efficient, and a genuinely nice person. I would use him again in a minute, and will recommend him to anyone who needs electrical work.

Great job - I left him a key and the work was done while I was at work. Everything looks great and professionally installed. He also reinstalled a phone line that had fallen in a recent windstorm at no charge.

He did great work and seemed to be a very nice person. He was very efficient and charged a reasonable price. I would use him again.

Our house is older and over time, has needed most everything re-wired. JB Electric has updated and installed wall sockets throughout the house. Put in recessed lighting and track lighting in our kitchen. They have even run electricity out to our garden for a fountain and outdoor lights around our pond and house. Every time we want some work done, they respond with timeliness to the project. If it is an emergency, they are out that day. They are very polite and friendly and we have grown comfortable trusting them. At this time, I don't have a price on a particular project, just that they have always been fair with their pricing.

Overall, Jim did an outstanding job. Jim had an initial look at my problem (a tripped breaker resulting from an overloaded circuit) late one afternoon. He spent 1 hour assessing the electrical work in my 100 year old home, provided a reasonable estimate, and then simply asked me to telephone him if I did indeed want to have the work done. I received two other estimates (both higher than Jim's) and so decided to have Jim do the work. Jim and his co-worker (Rich) came to the house one week later to complete the work, as scheduled. They arrived 9:15 AM, and worked a nearly twelve hour day, finishing up 8:00 PM. They were extreme professional, and really quite friendly and easy to work with. Jim and Rich clearly explained all of the work completed, and were also willing to let me watch their activities, so I could learn a few new wiring tricks. It was really quite educational for me. I would, without question, hire J.B. Electric for more work on my home.

Jim and his son, Rich, were extremely polite and timely. The entire job was done on time and the cleanup was great. They took the time to explain what they were doing and why. Jim is a great example of an honest, hard-working, electrician. I highly recommend J.B. Electric.

My experience to date with JB Electric (Jim Boden) has been excellent. He is an experienced, reliable, and honest electrician with an easy going, laid back personality. He's done considerable work for me already, and I expect to hire him again for additional work in the future. My only cautions, which are relatively minor, are these: (1) he can be slow in returning non-emergency phone calls placed to his office number (as opposed to calls placed to his cell phone number, which presumably is intended for emergencies), and (2) he doesn't write down as much as he should and can be forgetful.

I find him to be extremely pleasant and honest and would recommend him.

ARRIVED AS SCHEDULED AND WORKED THROUGH LUNCH BREAK TO FINISH IN ONE DAY. CHECKED OUT NEW SYSTEM AND THOROUGHLY CLEANED UP. COST WAS REASONABLE.
