I scheduled a handyman to come out a month a go and they call less than 24 hours before and cancelled. I already started to rip my bathroom apart. They had a bigger project. So inconsiderate

Fantastic! Reliable! When other services either did not return my calls or were unable to come out to our house, Handyman Matters treated our situation as important as we felt it was. Despite having a staff shortage, they had two men at our home the NEXT DAY after I made the call. The office staff was wonderful and understanding. SO grateful for the respect they showed us.

Did an excellent job. They found a leak behind the old bathtub that they repaired. That leak would have cost a lot more if I had to bring another plumber in to repair as it was behind the walls.

Went so well and we are so pleased with the way the new shower looks. Always arrived when they said they would. Always let me know if they had to leave for a little while. Will definitely use this company again.

It went well but the time estimated for completing the work was overestimated - so I believe I paid a bit more than was necessary. Very nice gentleman completed the work.

They're great. I use them for a lot of individual jobs when I first moved into my place but I haven't had to use them for a while. This was a while ago. They were very reasonable. I recommend them. It is only one guy.

They were pretty good mostly, I don't know why, I just wasn't sure about the work quality. They came on time and they were pretty good about that. They were actually pretty professional. The quality of the work was okay, it wasn't the greatest, but it worked. I tried to tell them what I needed done, but it just didn't totally communicate well at first. I finally got through to them and everything and it got done. Some of the guys they brought out were okay, some of them weren't.

It all depends on who they send out, but I would probably recommend them only because they're pretty good at what they do. They can get the job done.

The whole experience was wonderful. I called Handyman Matters and spoke with Sandy who was very friendly, and discussed my drywall repair in my basement. Sandy was able to work with my schedule and I booked the job. The technician (Mike) showed up early and reviewed the work with me and estimated the time to complete and got started immediately. He explained to me that there would be some idle time in between coats of drywall compound, and offered to fix my loose handrail to the basement and oil some squeaky hinges on my doors, while he waited for drying time. I explained to him that my dog had scratched some baseboard and he was able to install a new piece that I had previously purchased. Mike even noticed that my outside faucet was dripping and in just a short time was able to replace the washer and even installed some insulation around the pipes in preparation for cold weather. Wow was I impressed with their service and efficiency. I now have Handyman Matters on speed dial and will definitely use them again.

The framing and baseboard work was completed fine, but it took too long and was, thus too expensive. I supplied and delivered all of the material. For $70/hr, I thought I'd get a lot more efficiency. This is why I abhor paying an hourly rate; there is no incentive to finish in a timely manner.

I had water damage in my basement and called Handyman Matters for some help putting it back together. Tony showed up to evaluate and gave me an estimate to complete the work. They removed the damaged drywall, insulation, & baseboard. They cleaned and painted sealer on my foundation walls before closing them in. I had 2 defected outlets and they replaced them. New insulation was added and the drywall (moisture resistant) was installed and finished.Baseboard was installed and they even painted. They notice that my basement toilet was running and installed a new toilet kit. Now I'm back to normal (and even better!). They were courteous, on time, and a pleasure to work with and I've already referred them to my neighbor.

Workmanship was haphazard and sloppy. The work effort required significant oversight and at the end of the day was finished by ourselves. Little to no consideration for dust was also an issue. No one in there right mind large pieces of cuts drywall in a closed room.

The job is done. The ceiling is whole again.

He was really excellent. I was very pleased with the work, it was outstanding. He was very prompt and worked steadily, completing everything that I needed done. It was a big load off my back.

Handyman Matters did an amazing job. They were polite. They explained everything they were going to do. They told you when they were going to show up in the morning and actually worked an 8 hour day. And the finished work was high quality. I don't have one complaint. If only all my contracting experiences could be this good!!

Ceiling fan which I had purchased was installed in an hour. Very courteous and professional workman.

This project went smoothly and final result is excellent. Started on time. Finished on time. No mess. No stress. Project included framing, sheetrock, electrical, paint, and hardwood floor install and went smoothly. This was by far the most enjoyable and least stressful contractor project I can recall.

A couple of snags along the way, in no way fault of the service providers. Guys who came out (primarily Chuck L.) were real pros, easy to work with and explained everything real well. Their phone person is a very nice lady and has wonderful personality. Work involved tearing out old tiles, laying drywall (better solution than new tiles), taping, spackling, sanding, placing new trim, painting of new ceiling. Also had to take down chandelier and replace it when finished. We are very pleased with the job done. Congrats on a super job.

Pat was amazing! He showed up on time and was very friendly! We closed off a door and put the drywall up ourselves but we needed someone to come finish the job by tapping and sanding. Pats job was perfect and now the wall is painted and you cant tell there was ever a door there! I already emailed to set up another appointment to finish two other jobs!

Patrick measured all the rooms and provided an estimate amount of time for completion as well as the types and amount of wood required for the job. (Handyman Matters does charge $45 for an estimate.) My husband and I decided we would purchase the wood, have it delivered, and do the painting and staining ourselves to save some money. Patrick completed the job in just under two and one-half days, which is under the time he estimated it may take. Patrick always arrived promptly and worked through the day. He answered all our questions and provided information about future projects. Patrick is meticulous in his work, and we were very pleased with the results.
