I've used the service 4 times. The quality of work was great and they're nice people.

Early in 2020 we decided to get our house ready to put on the market and needed people to do electrical work, fine carpentry, flooring. We looked on Angie’s List and found Ace Handyman of South Hills. They sent a craftsman the next day to look over the work we needed to have done. His professionalism and directness prompted us to ask to have someone assigned to come for several full days. We explained our wish to get the work done promptly, and the very helpful lady who handled scheduling did her best to support us. We had help from several craftsmen with special skills, all of them very attentive to our wishes and very efficient. We especially appreciated the way they explained things to us. They helped put our house in the shape we wanted, and it sold very promptly. In all, this was a happy association, and we would engage Handyman again if we still lived in Pittsburgh.

They wanted to replace the entire door frame and door, plus labor. A friend replaced the threshold and drilled the holes for about $100.

Well. The final result was a bit rough, but this was not to be “fine” carpentry.

In February, we contacted Ace Handyman Services South Pittsburgh (formerly Handyman Matters South Pittsburgh) to install crown molding in our master bedroom. Normally, my husband likes to complete our home repair projects himself, but he had never installed crown molding before. We did some research and found Ace Handyman Services South Pittsburgh, and we're so happy we did! Rich was our handyman, he arrived on time and did a beautiful job installing the crown molding! We have cathedral ceilings in our bedroom, which made this a more difficult task. Rich was very knowledgeable on how to tackle this project, and it turned out even better than we were expecting! The whole process, from booking the job to completing the work, exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend using Ace Handyman Services South Pittsburgh!

Randy at Handyman Matters was very nice. I provided the details of what I wanted completed and an appointment was schedule for a handyman. When the handyman arrived he did not have ANY electrical outlets with him and the scope of the job was outside of his abilities. No work was completed and I was not charged for the $35 service charge. Handyman Matters charges a $35 service fee and bills $75/hour in 15 min increments. If you live in a rural area as I do, travel time for the handyman to obtain supplies would add up quickly.

The whole experience was wonderful. The Handyman arrived on time and was ready to work. I provided the materials and he brought all the tools, I was just charged for the labor to complete all the work. His work was outstanding, he was efficient and finished everything in a days time. I have been recommending this business to all my family and friends! Will definitely use them in the future.

Terrible sales service. Wanted pictures to estimate the job. Wouldn’t come in person to measure and collaborate with the mason. They either didn’t want the job or have a very poor sales process.

They were very professional and courteous. They worked through the unforeseen obstacles and installed the door perfectly.

Everything was excellent! Pat was great, he was punctual and was a great guy. His work is fabulous.

We had a wonderful experience with Handyman Matters while redoing our kitchen. They removed the bulkheads, moved electric wires to the attic, added under cabinet lighting and recessed lights, overlaid the drywall on the ceiling, laid the floor tile, assisted the cabinet installers, added thresholds, plumbed the sink, installed trim and all the other details included in a remodel. The workers showed up on time daily, worked efficiently, never left a mess and kept us informed during the project. They did an amazing job in turning our old dated kitchen into a dream space.

My husband and I recently had about a 3.5 day project done to include the following: drywall placement to our entire kitchen ceiling to help with ceiling damage with painted, textured finish, inspection of plumbing, placement of new light fixture, painting of kitchen walls and crown molding placement, painting of baseboard along with patching of walls as needed, replacement of two areas of baseboard. The work was efficient, extremely tidy after each day of work, and Rich, the craftsman we worked with, was professional and exceptional in his craft. The company helped to schedule our work in a timely manner around our busy schedules and helped to answer any questions we had along the way. Our kitchen along with our other small odds and ends projects turned out better than I could have ever imagined and are absolutely beautiful. I am excited to make further upgrades to my home using Handyman Matters!

He only did the drywall fix and the two small cabinet doors. Didn't know how to do the simple backsplash grout nor could he fix the closet doors. Nor was any efforts or attempts made to do either of those projects. Maybe these folks can only do the simplest of tasks.
