We shopped around. Richard Felser was our third quote but was by far the least expensive and the one we felt most comfortable with. The window installers were courteous, professional, quick, and cleaned up everything when they were finished. I swear my house was more clean when they left. They were even concerned about my infant’s nap schedule with all the hammer banging going on. The siding crew was with us for nearly a full ten days and were friendly, thorough, professional, and their work looks BEAUTIFUL. I am so happy we shopped around until we found what worked for us. We’re beyond thrilled with our results. Mitch, who wrote up our contract, was great. Honest, funny and straight forward. Both window and siding crews were amazing as well.

The team was prompt and professional. We received several quotes and this one fit our budget. It's been over a year and we still love our new windows and shutters! The windows are easy to open and easy to clean. The prairie grid is beautiful.

In a word, perfect. I checked Angie's List and read the great reviews for Richard Felser Co. We needed 27 windows to be replaced. The single pane glass, warped wood and drafts were marked for death. Scott Bauer came out to look at the job. He spent an hour at our home and after going from room to room, he provided an estimate. This estimate was one third what Renewal By Anderson wanted to do the same number of windows. Sure, their windows are super high quality, but the amount they wanted was unreasonable in my opinion. Back to Felser. Scott was great. No huge sales pitch, no pressure, just the facts. He answered my questions about the installation process, materials, window line he recommended, showed a window example and quoted a price that got a handshake and down payment from me. A gentleman (forgetting his name) came out after and took precise measurements and answered further questions. He was upbeat, nice, and you could tell with 30 years on the job, he knew his stuff. This, like Scott made me feel we have made a great choice. Installation. 27 windows is two days work for Felser. A crew came out headed by Mike. They were on time, ready to roll. Our attic and second floor was completed day one and first floor and basement day two. Non stop work by five people. They put drop clothes down, vacuumed, and were just great to be around. At the end of day two, Mike gave my wife and I a demo on how to properly operate the windows and how best to take care of them. All clearly explained. I am pleased with the price, product and the quality of the people at Felser. If we decide on another project down the road (roof or replace a door) they will get my business.

Everything went good. Rained a few days. But other it was great.

The installers were great. They layed down tarps on al floors and cleaned up afterwards.

I would recommend them over and over. This company is a class act. We got 8 windows and a large bow window put in. They arrived at 8:30 and were gone at 2:30 and left the house super clean. Installers were awesome.

I am glad I used this company and would highly recommend them to anyone needing a siding and/or roofing project.

Felser Co. didn't want to bid on the job, which is completely understandable, but just calmly say so--it's not necessary to growl and snap.

Great. Everyone was easy to work with and we are very pleased with the results. The estimate was given to us during the first visit by Mitch. He was able to come within a day or two of our call. We signed a contract on the second visit an made a deposit for the work. Dan came in a couple of weeks to make all of the measurements for the order. The actual work started a week or two later than we were told, which was completely acceptable.

From getting the quote to the installation, we were very pleased with the entire thing. Scott was professional and quick when he came out to give us the quote. We decided right away that we would accept their offer. It didn't take long for the windows to be finished and they were able to have them installed on a day that worked well for us. They quoted 2 days, but got it done in . They guy working on the job were very nice and kept the house clean. One of the installation guys even gave me some good advice on how to fix some of the problems our old windows caused. Everything looks really nice and we are very happy with the choice.

The representative was very knowledgeable and spent time explaining and showing what was available. Helped determine everything that was needed, etc.

The current owner of this company made a phone call to me, he was in no way connected to the installations of my windows. He just purchased the company in 2005. He is willing to replace my windows at his cost. I greatly appreciate the quick response and am considering his generous offer.

We recieved several quotes from different window contractors to install windows in our home. The salesman ( Scott) that came out to quote us was very polite and professional, and after making our decision we were able to schedule an appointment for measurements within the week. He informed us that it would take 4 to 6 weeks for the factory to get our order together and they would call when it was ready. They indeed called approximately 6 weeks later and we scheduled an install date for the following week. Their crew showed up the morning of install ready to work. They removed old windows, replaced with the new and had cleanup finished all in the same day. Our new windows look great and we are extremely pleased with the level of care and attentiveness they took. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a great product as well as prompt and professional service. The only glitch we had was a window screen that were not with the window on install, and one window screen that was damaged,and we are awaiting the new screens to arrive

Everything was great. I had gotten other estimates which were much higher for the exact same job. No hard sell, just professional discussion of what I was looking. Job finished in one day and everything cleaned up. Very satisfied.

Richard Felser was recommended to us by several of our new neighbors who had work done in the past by this company. We still shopped around for pricing quotes and after several, decided to go with Felser. We are so glad we did. We had bought our home a year previous knowing it needed a new roof but put it off until after winter. We called as soon as the weather broke and even though it was their busy season, they still came out and completed the project in a timely manner. We are incredibly pleased with the quality of the work, as well as the professionalism of both the office staff and the work crew. We look forward to working with them in the future!

After taking bids from several contractors I chose Felser because the price was in line with others, they had a product I liked and they were local to my area and Mitch the salesman was good and informative and was here 2x. I was told that the job should start in 6-8 weeks and that it could even be sooner since it was a small job. I already had a stone mason do the bottom half of the ranch in stone and needed just a small area which is basically the top half of front of a ranch style house in shingles. I rendered my deposit in April. I waited and May had passed and no contact from Felser, I waited until the June and around mid June called Felser. The office has no answers can't tell you anything about schedules or where you may be on the list. I waited another week and again the office doesn't know anything about the jobs or schedules. Finally I got a call and they said they would try to come out as soon as possible but due to rain they were behind. By this time I have lost patience and needed this done for a function I was having at the end of July. After threatening to come to Angie's and write a review before I had any work done, I did get a call and Felser had a date. They agreed to send out a sub to complete the work the 2nd week in July. It was to be a 2 day job for one man. Felser delivered the materials the day before Dan was coming to install. Dan arrived on time and got right to work. As he started to hang the shingles I said to him, I don't think they are the correct shingles. The color was correct but the shingle style seemed to be the more clean traditional shingle which was not what I ordered. It was hard to remember since it had been 4 months since I saw the product! When Dan went to put the corner panel on the house he noticed that the panels did not match the shingle style. Upon looking at the corner panels I could clearly see that the corners were the correct style but the shingles delivered were the wrong product. Dan had to remove the incorrect product load all the shingles in his truck and drive to the West End to exchange the shingles for the correct ones. This took about 3 hours from Beaver County. He was good about it and did not show his frustration but I am sure he was just as frustrated with the error as I was... if not more; as this set him back almost 1/2 of his day. Dan completed the job in 2.5 days due to the delay with returning produdct and his workmanship was excellent. He was on time and even came back on Saturday to do a few extra things and check his work and clean up. Dan was professional and did a great job. Felser is fortunate to have a sub-contractor like Dan to represent them. Dan gets an A rating but because of the initial issues with lack of communication with Felser and ability to get the job done in a timely fashion coupled with the delivery of the wrong product, I have to rate Felser lower with a B/C.

Overall the experience was good. We had communication issues at first. It took 2 quotes and 2 orders to get the materials right. I can understand that though as half-rounds aren't very commonly used. That's why the "B" in punctuality and really the only hiccup in the whole process. The install went smooth and the price was well below what a competitor quoted. Felser gave a discount due to the confusion so I feel that was more than fair. I would consider them for more work in the future. I have a window replacement project sometime in the future and they will be one of my first calls.

The representative from the company looked at one of my storm doors. He then informed me that I didn't need a new storm door he did some adjustments,changed a few pieces. It was like a new door. I did need one replaced so the door was ordered, and installed quickly. I have used Richard Felser in the past so once again they have exceeded my expectations on what to expect from a home improvement company.

I've used Richard Felser Co. twice now for replacement windows. Once in my old house and now again in my new house. I had such a great experience when I used them 8 years ago, there was not even a question that I would use them again when I purchased my current home. They provided me top quality windows and service in the past and I am sure I would get it again. My current house had original aluminum single pane windows. Very cold and drafty. They furnace was running non stop to keep up with the sub zero temperatures that were hitting the area. I called Richard Felser Co, and scheduled an appointment. Mitch came to my house and provided a demonstration about the windows that they used. I was able to see a sample window. I was presented with several design options from wood finish to white. I went with a white window. It also comes with a lifetime guarantee. If it fogs between the glass, they replace it. If a ball goes through the window, they replace it. It really can't be beat! I received the quote and signed the contract. Mitch also provided me financing options that they had available. After my meeting with Mitch, Dan came to measure my windows. He explained the replacement process to me again and offered me an option to get opaque window for my bathroom for no additional cost. I did decline that as my house is situated on a lot where that is not a problem. He told me that it would be about 3 weeks for the windows to arrive. At that time the office would call me and set up the installation date. About a week and half later, I received a call to install the windows. I scheduled for the following Friday. They asked that I just leave them two feet of space in front of the windows to work. Vic, Bart, and their crew arrived on time on the day of installation. They quickly prepped my house by covering my hardwood floors with cardboard and draped furniture and belongings. They started the installation upstairs and worked their way down. As they installed each window, they cleaned up and swept or vacuumed my rugs. My house looked just as good as it was when they left. I have not found any debris in my yard either. The total installation for my 12 windows was about 5-6 hours. Richard Felser Co did an amazing job in replacing my windows! They were professional and provided me with excellent quality windows. I would never think twice about the cost and quality of their work. I am extremely please with all and every interaction with them. I know my furnace is happy as it no longer has to run so much and my house is much warmer, even though the thermostat still reads the same temperature. Thank you Richard Felser Co. team! First off I had five companies come and show me their windows. Prices ranged from cheap to extremely expensive. Felser uses Mezzo windows from Alside. Upon researching this particular model I was pleased with the reviews (see thewindowdog.com). The estimate and measure went very well. Scott Bauer provided me with a quality estimate. He was friendly and pressure-free. This is something that other window companies should take to heart. I don't need an hour long song and dance with a high pressure salesman urging me to buy right away. I like to take my time and research what is a quality product that also fits my limited budget. Oh and it does not impress me if you stand on your windows. The man who came to measure my windows was an old school older gentleman who definitely looked like he had a lot of experience measuring windows. This may seem like something small, but it did put me at ease because I've had other installers make mistakes when accurate measurements were required. On the day of the installation one of the installers was about an hour late. Apparently he was having some car trouble and I was just happy he was able to make it. Both installers were very polite and I enjoyed talking with them as they worked. I was happy that all of my windows were installed in just one day. My only bother was that the sticky residue from the window stickers remained on the windows along with some slight grime on the white vinyl. Again this is a minor issue and it would not deter me from using this company again. It's been about 3.5 months with my new windows and they are holding up great. We have had some extremely cold temps and no fogging or sweating. I would strongly recommend checking out a few window companies to see which one meets your needs. I found the Felser company a pleasure to work with and their windows are solid. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive overall. I am planning on contacting this company again to replace more windows when it can fit within my budget.
